Other restaurants would add bamboo shoots or use shredded pork as disguise for eel, but today I hardly see anything other than real eel. The shrimp in the stir fried shrimp dish are cooked al dente and not oily, not heavily starched either, which requires a lot of cooking skill. The lion's head meat balls are my favorite. The meat ball is very soft, the sauce tastes wonderful that I could pour it over a bowl of rice and enjoy to the last drop. Since this is a family style restaurant so don't expect superb service. The skin was crispy and chewy. 100% should order this. The Lamb Noodle Soup had a deep lamb flavor that probably took the restaurant years to perfect. I wanted to drink up every last drop of the soup. One downside was that I felt super dehydrated after the meal and I think it was because the soup had a lot of salt. We also ordered the Three Deluxe Dumplings. The inside of the dumpling was juicy while the skin had a nice chewy texture. I don't normally enjoy the thicker skin dumplings but these were good despite being thicker skin. We also ordered the Pig Ears as an appetizer. They were okay. The seasoning was not over-powering, but the actual pig ears were not that crunchy. Would probably skip this dish next time.
