There was no wait time for seating. The tables are out dated but the booths were reupholstered. We both ordered the Doc's Omelet, one with fruit and the other with crispy Hash browns. The food was served heat hot with lots of flavor. We enjoyed the meals.

Ok so I was very reluctant to coming here due to its history but husband wanted to try it so I braved it. First impression was pleasant with a welcoming hello from the person at the register. We were seated right away although the very short time we were standing waiting to be seated was greated 3 times by different people acknowledging our presence. You can tell right away this is their "usual" spot for many elderly locals. Maybe they offer a senior discount? It had that home feel and sound aa people were coming and going. The menu -- nothing special - very traditional comfort food :) that fills the hungry belly but the service was really good. Our person was Shawana - middle aged Caucasian woman that didnt smile once HOWEVER her body language was friendly, attentive and honesty - comforting :) Kinda like how an Auntie will try to feed you when you come visit. The place was CLEAN and dirty tables were quickly turned over. The gentleman bussing the table was friendly to the costumers as well. Saw many pleasing interactions. Thank you for having us!

I found this joint on my birthday as I was out of town and visiting my brother in Sac. This one was the closest to our rental and looked like a promising American breakfast place. It's not fancy or anything like that so good to stop by and have a delicious meal. It was also fairly clean.. they had a woman cleaning while we were there. The waitress was sweet and we were seated fairly quickly. Pricing is reasonable and there is plenty of seating. It's an older looking restaurant but def did the trick for my family and I. The waitress also blessed my kids w a sundae which was great. There was a mistake on my order but honestly I did not mind. She corrected and brought my food quickly. I wouldn't mind returning if I am ever in the area again. They also accommodate large parties. While we were leaving I believe a party of 20 came in. We left right on time! lol

I've gone two times in the last month with a party of three and each time there was no wait to sit. The staff was very kind and attentive to our tables needs. The food came rather quickly, was hot and delicious. I personally had the waffle. It was just right with crispy edges and a soft center in the middle. I would highly recommend this as a food option. The only turnoff was the homeless guy sitting in the front of the door, that everyone just seemed to walk past. He didn't beg for money, but sitting right next to the entrance had me a little on edge. Other than that, I would definitely visit this place again.

Where has this place been all my life? Ok, a bit melodramatic, but good breakfast at a restaurant is one of my favorite meals to go out for...and Sacramento is severely lacking in that department. This is very old school....we went after my wife's doctors appointment, and we were probably the youngest people there. Nothing wrong with that, as it was 9:00 am on a weekday morning. Old school generic American restaurant vibe (and again, not said as a negative). Now, then, onto the food... I ordered way too much. I was hungry, and as previously mentioned, loved to try out new (to me) breakfast places. On a recommendation from our amazing server, I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, with a side of "tiny" (not really) pancakes. My wife ordered sausage and eggs. The eggs were scrambled perfectly, but...the chicken fried steak was pretty incredible. It stayed hot for so long, as well. I wish the pancakes had been a little warmer, but oh well. Her sausages were just as good (to her), and we left with full bellies (and too much food left on the table). Sadly, over the next few weeks, we will be in this area many mornings for medical appointments, but the good news is I believe we found our new breakfast spot.

Love the senior menu This can't be beat anywhere.

Come once a week, love this place for my shrimp & steak platter too. Very clean , very pleasant. Senior menu good food for a great price . Clean , fast , good price and very welcoming.

Have they closed? Drove by several times recently, parking lot and restaurant were empty.

Not the location on Alta Valley Drive. They close at 2 or 3:00 pm except Fridays and Saturdays.

Is this still open? I've been calling and no answer?

Yes it is open had breakfast today. Are you sure your not calling the original Perry's as they have closed.

Are there other locations to go to aside from Stockton Blvd Sacramento Ca?

We were seated within 10 minutes of arrival - they did not accept reservations. We started with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip ($15) and Fritto Misto ($22) and drinks. I was so impressed with their Freezer Martini ($16) - the presentation was fun, and the amount given was well worth the price. Everyone ordered their own respective entrees, which included the Pasta Bolognese ($21) with Meatballs ($3), Seared Salmon ($29), and the Double-Cut Pork Chop ($29). I was totally present during the dinner, so I didn't get many pictures. Let's just say everyone's plates were cleared by the end. Definitely will come back to try their Sunday Brunch!

The outdoor patio, shade, and overall atmosphere were great, and our server was wonderful and understanding throughout our meal. The food value on the brunch side, however, missed the mark. A couple of us ordered the $19 chorizo open-face omelette. While we knew going in that it didn't come with sides, what was presented simply did not match the menu description. It arrived as a disappointing 7-inch open-faced omelette. The peppers were barely specks, and the potatoes were virtually nonexistent (something we realized while discussing the dish later). On top of that, the small amount of "chorizo" tasted and looked like plain breakfast sausage. I completely understand that businesses need to turn a profit, pay fair wages, and cover rent in a prime location, but the margin here was too glaring for what was served. I genuinely thought they had served us all vegetarian omelettes on accident, it felt like an incomplete plate. I had never felt taken advantage of like I did when I received my meal, so I had to send it back to the kitchen. I swapped it for the roughly 13-inch pepperoni pizza ($23). For just $4 more, the contrast was very apparent. The pizza was fresh, delicious, well-portioned, and fed three of us (including the guests who kept their omelettes and were still hungry). While the staff resolved my plate graciously, the brunch menu as currently portioned falls short. If management adds proper sides or reworks the portions to match the pricing, it could be a solid brunch destination. Until then, we'll stick strictly to the pizza or maybe try out another one of their menus.

For the price, I think it's one of the best places around for a satisfying steak meal. Oh my, the French toast is a huge portion and beautifully presented with a side of whipped cream and strawberry compote on top. It's not as sweet as it looks (perfect for my taste) and the toast had crispy edges. Sausage was good but needed to be cooked just a bit longer, so you get that snap when you bite it. Scrambled eggs were good too. My husband got the chorizo burrito with tater tots on the side. He liked the burrito but said it did have little kick to it. The tots were fried to perfection and not oily. My brother ordered the "Dad's Mash Up," all kinds of stuff (breakfast meats and cheese) served on top of tots and covered in gravy. It was a pile of food, no complaints from my bro. Service was great and welcoming as soon as we walked in. No wait on a Wednesday morning, but I imagine there is on the weekends. I let our server know it was my brother's birthday, and after we were finishing up our meals, they brought him a complimentary small plate of the strawberry French toast! That was a fantastic way to end his celebratory breakfast. My only complaint, which is more of a suggestion, is to have flavored cream available besides half and half. The coffee is strong and delicious and our cups were never empty. Thank you, Jamie and staff, for a wonderful and yummy first visit. We'll be back!

Much of the interior consists of plain, single-color walls without much décor, giving it a blank and somewhat incomplete feel. Service: Friendly but slow and somewhat disorganized. * At check-in, the host added my name (Lin) to the waitlist and said I would receive a text when my table was ready. However, the notification arrived under a different name (Nancy), so I had to double-check whether the table was actually for us. * Our server was pleasant, but service felt scattered. She stopped by to check on us, but before we could respond, she walked over to another table and continued a conversation there. When she returned, she said she would bring water, even though we were already ready to order. It took a while for the water to arrive. * Later, we requested a water refill, which she acknowledged, but it appeared to be forgotten. The refill only came when we were getting ready to leave, at which point she apologized. Although it was a Sunday brunch service, the restaurant did not seem busy enough to fully explain the level of disorganization. Food: Breakfast is available all day. I recommend the Eggs Benedict (weekends only), which comes in several varieties: A. Bacon, spinach, and tomato Benedict B. Traditional ham Benedict C. Cali Benedict with avocado, tomatoes, and arugula D. Smoked Salmon Benedict The Club Sandwich also comes with a generous portion size. A nice convenience is that the restaurant allows split bills, and guests can pay individually through the Toast app.
