    Fried Zucchini Sticks

Service is amazing. Sylvia is an amazing worker. Food was great. Pizza was delicious. Got the mozzarella sticks it was to die for. The fried zucchini were a must and the lemon pepper wings oh man I couldn't get enough. Would definitely come back.

I had to come back to my favorite pizza spot - Número Uno. You just can't beat the taste of the iconic dough. I got thin crust Meat Supreme and an Antipasto Salad this time. I was thoroughly satisfied. Thanks a million for the Best Pizza Ever!

Fresh ingredients: mushroom, pineapple, and pepperoni

We came on a Friday evening and it was semi busy. The staff was super kind, friendly, and attentive. The food was also delicious! We ordered individual sized pizza. Mine was pineapple, mushroom, and pepperoni and all the ingredients tasted fresh and the cheese pull was phenomenal. We ate outside and it was relaxing, there was a nice breeze. Definitely check it out.

Poor quality, poor management, with a high price. Pizza box delivered un taped. Called manager Roberto to ask about the delivery. Argumentive. Pizza had extra light tomato sauce. Toppings were extra light as well. Over $20 for cheese bread! Numero uno is nowhere what it used to be in the 90's. Numero 0 on my list. Sign of the times. Good quality and customer service is hard to find.

Bread Puffs.. or as I would call them doughboy butter balls
    Leilani M.

Numero uno brings back childhood memories of dinner out with my parents. It's been a long time since I've even seen one of these around. While visiting family in the area I saw the sign...Gotta stop. Doughboy butter balls should be the name of these bread puffs. It comes in a foil tray with golden dough Parmesan cheese and garlic butter. The dragon breath will definitely be sticking with you for a while. But if you love garlic and bread this may be your cup of tea. Servers here were helpful and friendly upon arrival for an order. Quaint interior, Inside and patio seating available. Situated on a little corner alleyway next to a movie theater. Plenty of covered parking. Right off the 170 on the corner of cold water canyon and w victory blvd.

This is the thick pizza with hardly any sauce and pepperoni. I will never order from here ever again. Pizza was so plain Ian's no flavor.

The pizza is dry no sauce. Barely any pepperoni. I was really unhappy with this pizza.

You won't go wrong. Best pizza ever!!

I'm in heaven. Pizza was hot w/fresh tomatoes, peppers and onions. Amazing taste. I am never disappointed. I highly recommend Numero Uno. You won't go wrong

The salmon salad is my personal favorite and I order it constantly, but the avocado toast deserves its own moment. I brought a friend recently who said "avocado toast always tastes the same" -- and I told her not here. She understood immediately on her first bite. It is bursting with flavor in a way that has no business being as good as it is. I mean, it's bread, avocado, some cheese, fresh basil.... but it SINGS! The desserts are delicious, the server recommendations are genuinely solid (they actually know the menu and steer you right), and the service overall is warm and attentive. Special shoutout to Miles, who is always a joy and makes you feel genuinely welcomed every time. The space is small with both indoor and outdoor seating, but that's part of the charm -- it feels less like a restaurant and more like going over to a friend's house for dinner. They take real care of you here, attentive, superior, friendly service. If you haven't been, go. And when you get there, order the avocado toast -- even if you think you've had good avocado toast before. You haven't had this one. But seriously, anything you order will be great! Easy street parking and during the day for lunch they have a valet just next to Voyage et Cie (shop next door) that's reasonably priced.

The restaurant was not super busy at the time so not sure why they were "rushing us". 2. The tiramisu... again this is not my first time at Uovo although it is the first time I visited the Studio City spot; there was something off with the Tiramisu to the point that my friend and I did not even finish the dessert. There was a chocolate fudge thing on top as you can see in the picture that was way too much and way too overwhelming. Could not taste the coffee at all. The cream was very heavy... Other than that the pasta is always top notch, so I will definitely give them another try sometime soon!

The food and the experience were excellent. Our server was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations to start the night. We began with the house bread, which was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and served with balsamic and olive oil. Simple and delicious. Next up was their homemade Caesar salad. Instead of traditional croutons they use toasted crumbs, and honestly it was a game changer. The texture worked perfectly with the dressing. For our mains we had the Dover sole piccata which was bright, buttery, and exactly what we were craving, along with the seafood linguine that was rich and flavorful. We wrapped things up with a cappuccino cheesecake and an Americano which was the perfect way to end the meal. Great service, great food, and a really enjoyable dinner overall. 10/10 recommend. They have bo kid's menu but can customize the pastas for you. They seem to specialize in Pink Sauce - sort of a tomatoey alfredo. My review is a bit mixed, so 3 stars. Positives: * Caesar salad was presented nicely and was fresh and crispy with big croutons and wedges of cheese. * Wife seems to like the side of jumbo grilled prawns Areas of Improvement * I was happy to see Jidori chicken marsala on the menu. Chicken was soft and moist but the mushroom flavor didn't quite permeate all the way. I'm getting more of that through the roasted potatoes * I got the salmon penne with butter cheese sauce, instead of the pink sauce. In hindsight not the best move since the pasta was a bit bland with insufficient sauce.

I made a reservation for Easter Brunch through OpenTable for me and my son. We got there about five minutes before our reservation at noon and the hostess told us to wait outside until they were open. Not a problem. HOWEVER, she never came back out to get us once they were open which was my first red flag because she left us waiting about 10 minutes past our reservation time. I go back inside to ask if we were going to be seated for our reservation and she asks under what name...mind you I was there before opening so she already had my name and time for reservation before no one else was there yet. The food itself was great but our service was absolutely terrible. We weren't checked on throughout the meal (again the restaurant was NOT crowded) and after completing our meal I realized the hostess deleted my reservation. For those who use OpenTable you know you get points for every completed reservation. I reached out privately to management first about my overall experience to hopefully rectify the issue. I wasn't looking for any incentives but that they at least train their wait staff better and resubmit my reservation in the system so I could both redeem my points and leave a review. It never happened. In an economy where everything is expensive just stepping outside I really value good service as well as good food. If the food is great but service is terrible I will never go back and this is that spot. Discrimination shows up in different ways and I will not patronize a business who blatantly does not show all of their customers the same level of respect and service. Posted pictures so you know I'm not a hater...food was great. Service was absolutely not it lol.

We parked in one of their 3 parking spots in the back and entered through the rear entrance. We were greeted by Aya who mentioned they were having some plumbing problems so we needed to sit in the front section of the restaurant. The place is pretty small and compact, with about 10 tables. It's family owned and been around for 25 years. The prices are pretty affordable for the portion sizes. Not much ambiance or decorations, but there was some nice Italian music playing overhead and some Christmas decorations that are apparently hung up year-round. Both Thomas and Aya waited on us and they were both pleasant and kind with nice smiles. Thomas quickly brought out some waters along with their complimentary focaccia that came with olive tapenade. The bread tasted old and stale and wasn't warm, but I liked the tapenade. Surprisingly, we were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink and also never got refills on our waters until I had to ask for one. I ordered the Italian salad with dressing on the side and I asked if the carrots that came in the salad were cooked or raw, since I don't like raw carrots. Aya happily suggested that they can cook me some carrots separately and bring them on the side, which is what they did. Even though the carrots were not really cooked that well, the gesture was still greatly appreciated. Other than that, all the ingredients were very fresh and the dressing was LIGHT, just how I like it. For our entrèes, I got the Pollo Della Cassa which came with chicken breast and mushrooms baked with mozzarella cheese, served on pasta with Alfredo sauce. ($24.95), with an add-on of shrimp (+$3.00 for 3 shrimps). I also asked for light sauce, not too soupy, and that's exactly how it was prepared. The food was piping hot, very fresh, and delicious. My son ordered the Pollo Limone ($24.95) that came with grilled chicken breast with lemon sauce on mushroom risotto. He was not the biggest fan of his food but still ate all of it. He also asked if he could get a side of veggies and they gladly brought out a medley of sautéed broccoli, zucchini, and carrots. We were not charged for the side of veggies and also the salad, which was very generous of them. To end the meal, you get a small complimentary square of Tiramisu which is a nice little treat. The customer service is truly the best part of this restaurant and you can tell that there is a lot of love involved here. They really care about their guests and want you to feel happy and satisfied. Due to some minor ticks here and there, I think I am going to stick with 4 stars overall. The restaurant was clean but just kind of unpleasant. You could also smell the bleach right when you walk in and sometimes the smell would waft through the air. It was also really hot in the restaurant and I don't think the A/C was working. They have one bathroom for each gender and they were very clean. I also asked for some change to leave cash for the tip, but Thomas told me they didn't have any cash in the restaurant. How can that be? Thank you Spumoni, Aya, Thomas, and the chefs. Will I return? Maybe, maybe not.
