Okay I just had to let the people know how awesome this place is. I've driven by a million times and I finally stopped in right before they closed. The service itself was so good, they were so nice and made some awesome recommendations. I went with the Miami bowl and they tossed the shrimp with a bbq sauce I believe. The bowl was fire, I will definitely be back!!

Mr. Shrimp is a small South Florida fast-casual seafood chain with three locations, offering a cleaner, more modern take on the familiar "boil-in-a-bag and fried basket" formula. The space is bright and surprisingly polished with white tile walls, blond wood tables, and cheerful lighting; more design-forward than most Cajun seafood joints. A display case at the counter showcases the day's (frozen) seafood selection -- snow crab, shrimp, crawfish, and lobster tails -- alongside signs for house-made sauces and banana pudding. Service was quick, about five minutes from order to table. Rachel's crab-and-shrimp combo arrived steaming hot and properly cooked, generously coated in a deep red-orange Cajun spice mix that looked great but hit hard on salt. The seasoning is heavy -- a paprika-colored dusting laced with cayenne, garlic, and herbs, applied both in the boil and again on top. Crack a shell or lick your fingers and it's an instant salt bomb. The crab itself was clean-tasting and stored correctly, free of freezer burn. My fried shrimp platter looked picture-perfect (see photo): shrimp cooked properly with a crisp, non-greasy coating, though flavor-wise it wasn't a "wow" fried shrimp by any means. Fries were solid, and the garlic bread a pleasant extra. It's a spotless, well-run local operation that clearly takes pride in presentation and efficiency. If you're in Lighthouse Point and craving crab legs, it's a safe, fast, and visually appealing stop. But with a dozen similar spots within fifteen minutes of Coral Springs, it's more of a convenient local option than a destination.

If Mr. Shrimp was overlooking the water, I'd give the restaurant a 5, that's how good the food was. A clean and well ran franchise, the food is excellent. The Boil in the Bag with added Crayfish was bursting with flavors. I've eaten in numerous seafood restaurants, and Mr. Shrimp is up there with the best. They even put a new spin on how to eat seafood by providing not only bibs, but gloves as well. Great food.

This was my first time ordering from Mr. Shrimp and I ordered via Uber Eats. Not much meat in the crawfish but what little meat they had was delicious and bursting with butter flavor. I suppose that is the nature of crawfish that there isn't too much yield. I ordered 1 lb and it arrived super warm and fresh. Reasonable price point too.

Rock solid 4! Perfection is hard to achieve, but this establishment wasn't far off. I really wanted fresh seafood with some punch. Did they ever deliver! Hit me with that Creed jab to the jaw. Super efficient delivery system. Door dash is working in tandem to make it happen hot and fresh. I ordered a small smorgasbord to surf the flavors. So glad I did! Flavor after flavor I was delighted! Next time I'm in the area this will be a go to. Bon appetite!

Great quick seafood spot. They have a wide variety of fried seafood, bowls, boils, and po boys. Cute interior and oitdoor seating. Order at the counter, and they bring the food out pretty quickly. We ordered the fried shrimp platter, which came with a generous portion of shrimp, French fries, and a cup of crab salad. Also, we had a crab cluster, which we had with medium spice. Really meessy but ao tasty. The food was really tasty and the prices were good for what we got. I will plan on going back again soon to try some other dishes.

Popped in for dinner tonight and enjoyed the family boil. The platter comes with shrimp, potatoes, corn, mussels, and crab claws. It was the perfect size for 6 of us. I also ordered sausage and a small container of shrimp with it. The restaurant is right on the street and parking is in the back lot. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The space is pretty tiny and I'm sure could fill quickly. We moved a few tables together to accommodate our family. The food came out quickly and was seasoned beautifully. The corn was a bit overcooked and mushy but I won't hold that against them. The gal who took our order gave us metal trays as plates to eat on, gloves, and bibs. It was a great touch. The downside for us was they don't offer crab crackers or tools to get the crab out. They had to borrow scissors from the kitchen and we took turns sharing them which really slowed dinner down. I'd say that was the biggest bummer because if you can't get the crab meat out what's the point of serving it?! Overall the food was good, the place was clean, and the kitchen staff was nice. If you love southern boils it's worth a try!

I was excited for my Seafood Boil. The previous time I went it was good. I ordered Crab legs, shrimp, mussels. This time everything was bland but the crab. Seems that they pre boiled everything in regular water ( no salt) and just threw the sauce on. To top it off the lime wedges were old (brown tinged) . Very disappointing. =( Did not taste like a Seafood Boil.

It's a small casual restaurant with an awesome menu. Prices are more than fair, and you can get reasonable sandwiches and bowls all the way up to large seafood boils. The seafood is fresh and seasoned to perfection. The mussels were large and meaty. We loved our family-sized seafood boil and have plenty left over. It also comes with corn and potatoes. In the past, we've also enjoyed the small bowls and the fish sandwiches. Join their member club and you can save $ on future visits. There's ample parking, and the food comes out pretty quickly. Friendly customer service, too. We will certainly return again and are glad this placed joined the neighborhood a few years ago.

Great quick service and tasty seafood tonight at this casual local spot. There is Cajun seasoning on everything, even when choosing mild flavor so be aware and let them know your taste when you order. Mostly indoor seating and a few tables outdoors. The menu board is over the counter where you order. The prices are very reasonable for the area and the portions are good size. The atmosphere is a notch above a fast food restaurant, nothing fancy. We had the seafood boil with crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes in a garlic butter sauce and cajun shrimp pasta with sausage. We were happy with both and even filled up enough to take home a small portion. They did have a $39 Mother's Day special which included a lobster tail, crab cluster, shrimp, potatoes, corn and beignet fries for dessert. Nice! I have tried their fried seafood as well and it was very good. We will return.

A Solid Cajun spot. Ive been a half a dozen times over the years. I stopped in recently and the food was as good as my first visit. Great consistency. The Boils are always good. I did a Fish sandwich this visit and all I can say is I should have taken a picture. An Outstanding fish sandwich! I didn't ask the fish type but it was great served on A fresh roll. Great flavor! A Well put together fried fish sandwich. Prices are reasonable. Service was great. Nice people! Parking in back. Indoor / outdoor seating. I'll be back.

At first glance it looks more like an ice cream shop or frozen yogurt place, but don't let it fool you - Mr. Shirt is one of the best and most affordable seafood boils in town. Service was great, food was even better. Will be coming again... and again and again! read more

My Takeout is better than yours As a home cook and host, I can attest that a lot of restaurants' food don't really meet my expectations. This food is amazing and the seasoning is perfect. Everything is cooked to perfection. Not to mention, I was lucky enough to meet Todd (part owner) on my first visit and his love for the food here is amazing. He makes you feel like you're at home the moment you walk in. The place feels real. It's beautiful and the menu (digital screen and paper) is very aesthetic-making it easy to find what you like. We tried the gumbo, too and fell in love. I-personally have never found gumbo I like. But theirs is special My husband got the same thing you see in the picture and....he says he won't be going to chipotle again That says a lot for a man who's eaten Chipotle since they opened. My expectations were exceeded and I was surprised by how many homemade teas and drinks they had. It's nice to have real juice from a restaurant! So happy this place is opened! I've been there twice and have gotten the same thing, because it was just so good. The Palm Beach bowl with boiled shrimp, over quinoa and greens. You get a choice of their garlic vinaigrette or Cajun ranch sauce that they drizzle over the bowl. I love the vinaigrette. It's a little sweet, little tangy, extremely flavorful. The bowl itself is greatly portioned, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers. Shrimp portion was perfect. Very filling. Healthy. Fresh! Shrimp was kicked up with a few spices, YUMMY! You can also get it over jasmine rice. Or with fish, falafel, chicken. Boiled protein or fried, your choice. The place is very clean. Outdoor seating available. They bring the food to you. Delicious! The menu is amazing! The service was great and fast. We ordered the fish sandwich, fish and shrimp platter, and the chicken bowl. The fish sandwich always white flaky fried cod served with fries. I wasn't a fan of the Krab salad that is complimentary on the side. The fish and shrimp basket was so big. Had left overs. The fries are Cajun flavored and have a kick. We ordered a side of hush puppies. They were yum. The chicken bowl was delicious we added avocado for $1. Overall the menu is great. The best "fast food" I've ever had! I got the shrimp boil mild with a side salad and my boyfriend got the shrimp boil with mussels. Both delish & very Cajun-y :) The potatoes are so tender they melt in your mouth and the flavor is unreal - I wish I got a picture of my boil but I'm posting my bf's for reference! So good. Placed my order online and arrived almost 10 minutes past the estimated pick up time. They hadn't even started the order. They were apologetic and worked to get it out quickly. I had specific order instructions and a worker even came out and asked me about my request for sauce on the side. Somehow they got my order all screwed up. Asked for my side of shrimp to be on the side, asked all sauce to be on the side (including the extra sauce I ordered and had told the worker I wanted to dip my shrimp in), ordered a side of rice and didn't receive it at all, and I asked for no pico and it was all over. Puzzled how you could get so many things wrong on one order. The food was quality and items I could eat were tasty but if I were to ever visit again I would need to dine in or rummage through my order before leaving. If what I did eat wasn't delicious..... Ordered via Uber Eats and my food was amazing. Loved that they vacuum sealed my bag to ensure its freshness upon arrival. Everything was still piping hot; just how I like it. The crab and shrimp boil was well seasoned and plentiful. The only con was the corn didn't taste ripe. I did not eat it at all as something was quite off about it. I also ordered the conch fritters side and they were chef's kiss perfection. Fried perfectly; battered just right. Highly recommend. Additionally, I had an order of hush puppies. Despite being overcooked, they were still surprisingly good. I was very impressed with my food and would definitely come back the next time I am in Florida. read more

We've been waiting for Mr. Shrimp to open up for a few months now and were super excited to try it out! I've been there twice in 4 days I loved it so much! My first time order was their signature shrimp boil and added sausage with "medium" heat, with a side of garlic bread. It was a great portion size for the price so a great lunch option. Spice level wasn't spicy for a Medium, and added more of a flavorful very subtle heat than the usual "burn." Their Cajun spice is mixed with salt, so the spicier you want your sauce the saltier it will be. If you're used jumbo shrimp in boils, their classics shrimp boil is made with small shrimp, think more of the size they used for fried shrimp. Regardless of the size, the quality of the shrimp was still there. I also ordered cinnamon sugar beignets to go, which were delicious. In total I spent around $26 on this visit, and for the amount of food and quality I received was more than pleased. However, my favorite visit was my second. I ordered their online pick up option which was simple and easy to use. They have a text update option which is very convenient, that tells you when an order is accepted and when it's available for pickup. I ordered the friend shrimp with hushpuppies as the side, plus an extra side of sausage and corn. Their fried shrimp basket comes with coleslaw and sauce as well. Their breading is flavorful and has very very subtle heat, and super crispy. I could have ordered an extra side of hushpuppies they're so good! Their sausage is fried instead of just boiled like the other boil places I've been too, which makes all of the difference for me and their side of corn is served with their signature garlic butter. This meal set me back $23 (tip included) so definitely worth it! Last but certainly not least, the staff is friendly and eager to please which is awesome at a new location. I'm not sure if he is the owner or manager but he remembered me from my first visit so that was nice! They definitely all want to leave a great first impression, and their hard work has paid off. I wish them the best, and will become a regular for sure. read more

On vacation in Deerfield and saw this spot had many good reviews and in the pictures everything looked delicious! Decided to come and try it out! And let me say you will NOT be disappointed. Everything was so good and heavily seasoned. The customer service was also amazing! Everyone was so nice and they checked on me multiple times throughout my meal to ask if I needed anything else. Came here on a rainy weeknight. I heard good things about this place and wanted to check it out. I decided to order the fried shrimp with a side of fries. They have plenty of sauces to choose from. I decided with a side of sweet chili and cocktail sauce. Both sauces were a great compliment to the shrimp. The shrimp were huge and fried perfectly. The Cajun fries didn't have any Cajun taste to it and they were extremely salty. The bowl was actually very filling and tasted really good. I definitely would go back for a quick bite to eat. We came hungry and Mr. Shrimp delivered! We came in at 1pm on a Saturday and were greeted by Amir who broke done the menu for us and let us try the tasty mint lemonade while we decided. The lemonade was so good we ordered it mixed with iced tea. We tried the crab boil, fried shrimp bayou bowl, and another bowl with fried chickpeas! And shrimp, chicken tenders, and the beignet fries. Everything was excellent and we'll definitely be back. The place was clean, with nice decorations, and music. The service was 10/10. Even the restrooms were well kept. It's a family owned business and I hope everyone tries it out. With reasonable prices, next time I'll try the po boy sandwich, famous shrimp bowl, and banana pudding, too. read more

I really like this place just ordered this week. Super unique CAJAN food like chipotle on the go. Next time I'll try the quinoa since they serve a lot of rice. We decided to come here for early dinner after ice skating. The smell was very nice and the lady taking our the orders was very patient. I got the NOLA pasta and was disappointed immediately. Everything was over buttered and the garlic bread was well overcooked. I recommend not getting the NOLA pasta if you come here. read more

The cheese bulak was good but might be a little off putting if your not use to mintiness in your cheese. A belly dancer came out and went around to all the tables and really engaged with everyone. For our entrees we got chicken tagine and lamb chops. I must say the lamb chops were phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. I definitely recommend getting them medium. All in all if you're looking for something different definitely go check it out!

There is something truly exhilarating about cracking the ball and seeing it fly onto the course.They have really fun games you can designate like Sonic or Angry Birds. The staff couldn't have been more lovely! Our initial bay had a faulty screen that they couldn't fix. They immediately moved us over to another bay and gave extended us 20 minutes for the inconvenience. We didn't order food, but we did order cocktails. They were just okay. I highly recommend making a reservation coming during the day versus night because the price point is drastically different by day and time. We came on a Saturday from 12-2 and paid $40 for up to six people. The check in experience is phenomenal through their app. If you're looking to try something new on the weekend, check them out!

My family and I come to Pompano every January for 2 weeks and we always end up here at Mr. Shrimp! Hands down the best food in the area. Don't let the small fast food like building fool you! The food was very delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was clean, bathrooms were super clean. The soda machine- sodas were super bubbly and seemed "fresh" perfectly sweet and cold. The food did not take long at all to arrive. Probably 10 min if that. Definitely recommend! read more

This place is an amazing spot for a seafood boil! The food was incredible, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. We ordered the seafood boil bag with crab, mussels, sausage, and shrimp, and everything tasted fantastic. The atmosphere was great too. Highly recommend! read more

Checked out MR Shrimp recently. They're giving Cajun a good shot, which I dug. Spices hit the spot, but they gotta up their seafood game - bit of a quality mix-up there. Had fun though. Solid 4 stars. Worth a visit, especially if they up their ingredient game. read more
