We love Mr. Shrimp! It's our go to spot whenever we're craving fried shrimp or fish. They also do crab boils and much more. I usually order the fried shrimp basket, which comes with 10 shrimp, delicious Cajun fries, a piece of garlic bread, and your choice of sauce. My favorites are the Cajun ranch and cocktail sauce. My boyfriend typically gets the fried fish basket, and they usually have a few fish options available. Whenever they have grouper, that's his pick. He also loves the jumbo shrimp, which are much larger than the standard ones, and always gets them with the sweet chili sauce. Their fresh mint lemonade is delicious, refreshing with the perfect amount of tartness. Every now and then, I'll order a crab cluster, which is sooo good, but be prepared to get messy! For dessert, my boyfriend can never resist the funnel cake fries. We'll definitely keep coming back to Mr. Shrimp. We bring friends here all the time, and no one has ever been disappointed. Popped in for dinner tonight and enjoyed the family boil. The platter comes with shrimp, potatoes, corn, mussels, and crab claws. It was the perfect size for 6 of us. I also ordered sausage and a small container of shrimp with it. The restaurant is right on the street and parking is in the back lot. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The space is pretty tiny and I'm sure could fill quickly. We moved a few tables together to accommodate our family. The food came out quickly and was seasoned beautifully. The corn was a bit overcooked and mushy but I won't hold that against them. The gal who took our order gave us metal trays as plates to eat on, gloves, and bibs. It was a great touch. The downside for us was they don't offer crab crackers or tools to get the crab out. They had to borrow scissors from the kitchen and we took turns sharing them which really slowed dinner down. I'd say that was the biggest bummer because if you can't get the crab meat out what's the point of serving it?! Overall the food was good, the place was clean, and the kitchen staff was nice. It's a small casual restaurant with an awesome menu. Prices are more than fair, and you can get reasonable sandwiches and bowls all the way up to large seafood boils. The seafood is fresh and seasoned to perfection. The mussels were large and meaty. We loved our family-sized seafood boil and have plenty left over. It also comes with corn and potatoes. In the past, we've also enjoyed the small bowls and the fish sandwiches. Join their member club and you can save $ on future visits. There's ample parking, and the food comes out pretty quickly. He was super kind and even checked on us in the middle of our meal, despite the fact that it isn't table service. We ended up with the family boil with added egg, two diet sodas and a side of their creamy cilantro (the creamy cilantro is a must-try!!) The total came to a little over 80. It was a TON of food. Completely reasonable pricing. Wonderfully seasoned, fresh, delicious, there's not much I can say. The food was on point. You can even choose your spice level. They also have additional seasonings set out for you to try. A few areas of opportunity are the music and tools for the crab. Music was pretty loud; my friend and I found ourselves needing to raise our voices to speak to one another. Another is that the only tool they give you to help open the crab is a cracker. Scissors and small forks would also be incredibly helpful to help get the crab out and open. So, I know it sounds bonkers, but if I were you, I'd bring extra instruments if you need them. I'm not an expert at opening crab and it would've been helpful. I know theres potentially a lot of meat I missed out on because of that. Other than that its a very nice environment inside. Been coming here ever since they opened and it seems like the amount of food they give has decreased. HOWEVER, the food is consistently good and they have a good amount of seafood options. I always get either the fried shrimp or the shrimp bowl with rice. Both are really good as are the beignets. They sometimes have deals on certain days of the week that you can find out about through email. The workers are always polite and the restaurant is typically clean. The decor is pretty inside and there's lots of seating options. I just wish they had a Mr. Shrimp closer to where I lived. read more

Waited patiently for this place to open. I've been here at least once a week since it's opening. It is very addicting and definitely one of the best new restaurants I've tried in a while. The vibe is very fast casual. They seem to focus primarily on bowls and boils. I haven't had an issue finding at least one parking spot but the lot is not very big. I order: The bayou bowl: Red beans, corn, pico de gallo, with Creamy Cilantro sauce. I always get the quinoa and greens for the base. The best option for the protein is the fried shrimp. They taste SO good and definitely better than your basic everyday fried shrimp. I am not big on beans but these have this insane cajun flavor, in my opinion it's what makes this dish so addicting. I love the cilantro sauce as well. I've tried the same bowl with different proteins. The boiled shrimp was just ok and the boiled unicorn portion was VERY SMALL. I have also tried their fried snapper which was awesome. 10/10 ($12 for the bowl + $1 for avocado + 1 for fried snapper) Fried beignets: These are pretty good but extremely indulgent. I took them to go and get the feeling they would have been better fresh. 6/10 ($5) I would like to explore more of their menu but it's hard not to order the addicting bayou bowl. I don't give out 5 stars lightly... let alone to a small chain restaurant -- that began as a family restaurant in Belle Glade, Florida. This place, however, was just a delight and the food was wonderful. We came for lunch. They've only been open for a short time. The menu is posted on the wall, but we grabbed a printed to go menu to decide what to order. You order and pay at the counter. They deliver the food to your table. They were doing a lot of takeout when we were there, as well. I got their fried shrimp -- their "signature" shellfish -- which was lightly battered, seasoned, and served just freshly made. Absolutely loved it. It came with a krab salad -- fake crab -- that was actually very good. I thought at first it was slaw, but it's more like a potato salad -- don't ask me what's in it, just get it. I switched out the Cajun fries that normally comes with the fried dishes for corn on the cob. 3 corn cob pieces were topped with an herb butter, but you can have them make it spicy, if you prefer. Next time I'd like to try their red potatoes. And I chose cocktail sauce (there are 7 others from which to choose). My husband had one of their bowls -- the "bayou" one with red beans, corn, pico de Gallo and cilantro sauce. He had it over jasmine rice (your other choice is quinoa) and with fried shrimp (other choices are fish, felafel, or chicken). He really liked his meal, as well. For dessert, we shared their beignets. The soft fried hot dough was covered in powdered sugar and was melt in your mouth. 6 triangular pieces for only $5! If you wish, you can add toppings. Other fried options include fish or chicken sandwiches, fried snapper, cracked conch or a combo fish and shrimp. They also have Cajun Boils -- done in a broth. You choose your seafood, your butter, and flavor and seasoning. They come with corn and potatoes. And there are 2 other "bowls" where the veggies vary. I thought the portion sizes were large and the prices reasonable for what you get. The only slight negative I can say was that the reggae music was a tad loud for conversation.
