As of lately the quality of food and service has declined. Ordered pastrami submarine. The portions of meat has declined with the texture of meat. More like tasteless shredded deli meat. Use to love their garlic fries but they are now over priced, over cooked and dry. My order had very little butter-garlic sauce and just a lot of seasoning. Will not be returning to this location. By the way I checked my credit card statement thru my mobile app and my number was used to pay someone's Sprint bill shortly after leaving the drive thru. It's currently being investigated. The existence of 1-star reviews tells you a lot about the average American's expectation of quality food from a place that gets most of its business after bars close. It's decent quality fast food. The Beverly location in particular has been managed by the same guy since I was in high school two decades ago. I ordered the combo meal with the club sub, fries, and lemonade, since I don't drink pop. I do up to the window, pay for my food, and go on the highway to go to work. I take a sip of the drink and it's Sprite. This made me mad, since I do not drink pop, but I figure I should just let it go. I then start eating my fries and they are really good and I started to get excited about my meal. I open up my sandwich and see that it is not what I ordered since there was no evidence of ham or bacon, but I figured just turkey was fine too. I take a bite and it is just cheese, no meat at all, just a big hunk of cheese. At this point I was beyond pissed, and then I look down and the sandwich is dripping pure grease, which got all over my brand new $40 jacket. Worst experience of my life. read more

They got my whole order wrong, except for the fries. After eating the wrong order, we didnt even know what kind of sandwich it was because it looked like mystery meat. There was also like two slices of meat on the sandwich. I ended up getting food poisoning, from what I assume was the "meat". I will nit be eating here again. read more

First of all EW. Walked in here starving and the place was a mess. Food all over the floor, messy tables etc. But it was late and I was working and didn't have much of an option. Order my food from the cashier guy who was a total ASSHOLE he was rude, and acted like everyone in there was a complete bother to him. I was starving so I didn't care. There was a HUGE cicada in there which a customer caught and threw outside. I even let that go. I sit down, open my sandwhich, take a bite, and BAM there goes MR. COCHROACH crawling across the table. I just about puked. I threw my sandwhich away and walked out. OH and the pickle I ordered and attempted to eat was freaking brown. LONG STORY SHORT....stay away from here. I've been to several locations and this is most certainly not my favorite location but it's not bad. Just not great. Drive thru is a bit tricky to get in and out of since it's smack-dab right in front of the storefront and parking lot. So, to get in their parking lot is always a mess that is, if you can get a spot there. Shared small lot with a few business makes this a tough place to park. You'll have luck parking on the street next to it. Love the garlic fries everytime I visit one of their locations. I went through the drive thru at 5:45pm OCt. 18th at the 105th and Western location. Their customer service is horrible!!! It wasn't busy when I was there but it was raining. I had my car window up so rain wouldn't get into my car because it took them a while to make my order.... fried mushrooms and gyro sub. To get my attention that my food was ready the guy at the window yelled so loudly HELLLOOOO!!!!! That's it. No...here you go or your food is ready or sorry for being so loud I didn't think you heard me with your window up. NOTHING. I've been there before a few times before but never during this time always earlier. Their customer service was never the nicest but I'm not paying my money to a restaurant who can't teach their employees how to speak to their customers. With this guys actions I can bet he's been this rude before to customers. I don't plan on going back there ever again!! There is a Jand J fish with amazing service and food a few blocks south of Mr. Submarine on western and Subway's are everywhere. No more Mr. Submarine for me!! The food is very delicious here. The must have is the garlic fries which are awesome. My son loves the roast beef sandwich from here and says it's the best roast beef from any sandwich shop. Also, it's nice supporting small business compared to the larger chains. I get the combo which is delicious. Never had anything bad from here. read more

The only place in these United States where a food establishment in a strip mall has a drive thru in the front. Mr Sub, as the local youths call it, is the cheap fast food joint that you go to if you: A) Have had way too much to drink B) Don't have a lot of coin in your pocket C) Looking for something quick and somewhat tasty D) All of the above Turns out that Mr Sub is a Canadian chain, and this is their version of Subway. There are a plethora of both hot and cold subs, and even some seafood- wasn't that brave. Was told to go with a pizzapuff, but instead opted for a cold corn beef. Everything about the sandwich- bread, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese- were fine. The meat was just there, no taste, but then again, for 4 bucks you know exactly what you are getting. The pizza puff on the other hand was quite tasty, think of a deep fried hot pocket. This Bizarro Subway is definitely worth checking out if looking for late night memories with friends you will probably forget in the morning. read more

I have been coming to Mr. Submarine for a number of years off and on since their sandwiches are really good. My only issue is the drive-thru they need to get rid of that because that lot is too small to have a gang of cars up in there blocking people leaving with carry out and the other businesses surrounding the restaurant. They also move too slow for drive-thru people can use walk in and order their food. I came here last night to order some dinner and I had to wait a few minutes to leave since there was a line of cars waiting for food in the drive-thru. This location is not in a good spot because the parking is cramped and often times difficult to maneuver. They don't have that rewards thing anymore that I used to log into when I bought food. Also, I said this about another location the decor screams the 1970s and 80s they need to consider a remodel to make it look fresh for the current time. They need to be more about keeping the place clean over by their ATM machine they had a pile of boxes and a bread cart that does not make the place look decent. read more

Love me some Mr Sub! Sandwiches are awesome, and everything is sliced fresh so you know you aren't getting some pre packaged tomatoes that were sliced a week ago. Turano delivers fresh bread every morning! You can get any sub hot which tastes (and smells) so amazing. Prices are super reasonable and for an extra $1.99 you can add a drink and fries, chips, or soup. I hate leaving some sandwich places having just spent $10 and I'm still hungry. Not here! read more

We have ordered trays for work here, and the sandwiches were fresh and loaded with meat. They even let me come before they opened so I could pick them up. We also had them for a wake, and again, fresh. No complaints. read more
