me and my sisters had got food yesterday. and everything we bought literally was NASTY ASS FUCK!! my Philly was too much onions and I told them no... my sister had buffalo chicken tenders it was soggy.. and other sister has chicken tenders with lemon pepper it was fried so hard she couldn't eat it and my other order of chicken tenders was so soft it wasnt done.. The store on 95th St and kings drive...I like the ship and rice, Tilapia, but...I don't like the wings,the wraps and the gyros these are so far what I have tried. The wings though small are fried too long and too hard,the gyros are actually good but not enough meat or ingredients,the pizza puffs are like all of em "greasy" cause they fried but over all the foods good. They are always busy when ever I go by there. Oh I found out afterwards that it's"Olive Oil" they put on some meals so ya have to let em know ya don't want it. read more

HOWEVER, shout out to sis with the Medusa piercing who helped me decide between; a Italian combo dipped with sweet peppers and red sauce with extra crunchy fries, a 6 piece wing, with fries, fried hard with lemon pepper, dredged in mild sauce, or a gyro king nacho with tzaziki on the side. The nachos won out. They hit the spot. I had the heartburn to prove it. But nothing a few teaspoons of mustard couldn't fix. Being back in Chicago, after living in Dallas for 5 years, it's nothing like some "chips wit cheese". My late night meal was so tasty and so nostalgic. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE 95th & KING DR LOCATION. MY BAD!! The rice bowl is very large and has enough to feed 4 people at least! They don't sell any smaller bowls perhaps due to the cooking times. I had the steak and chicken with everything- minus mushrooms ( they overpower flavors) and it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and fresh sautéed vegetables. I would buy it again sooner if the portion and price were reduced! Maybe the cost to make outweighs that option! Oh well read more

My experience here was truly remarkable! The customer service was top-notch and the manager's dedication to resolving a miscommunication with my order was truly inspiring. The food was out of this world and the discount I received was the cherry on top. I felt so grateful and impressed by the level of care and attention given to me. I stopped here today for food . I'll never do that again. I ordered a gyro for myself and wings for my daughter. The wings were salty and were either old or were fried in old grease . The gyro meat was mushy and I was charged two dollars extra for extra onions . Overall, everything was terrible. And we couldn't even eat it . Wasting money ! In this economy? I think not 0 stars ! This place serves the purpose of fast food. They will have your food ready immediately. They try to please their customers. The only real issue I have had is if I order food and don't eat it right away, the food changes. Also, if you order chicken wings, slaw does not come with the order. I used to live right around the corner from Tony's and I used to get my haircut across the street at Infiniti Hair Salon. When I first started going to Tony's they were really good and their food was surprisingly fresh. I used to always get either a gyro, the cheese steak fries or the cheese stick with fries. Tony's has really fallen off over the past several years. My wife got sick from them twice which is why we stopped going and when I gave them another chance again recently; they were no better. I hope they can turn things around again because at one point they were always packed but now every time I pass by to visit my family they're always empty. Also there service has gotten worse as well. They were always a little on the slow side when it came to service but it has gotten worse over the years. At this point I honestly don't know how long they will be in business unless they make some drastic changes. read more

I've been going to Tony's for a little over 9 years. Basically since they've been in business. What hooked me was the quality and quantity of their food along with price. A double bacon cheese burger almost as big as your face, with fries for all of 6 bucks is a hell of a deal. In recent times, portion sizes have gotten smaller. This can be seen in entrees like their sandwiches or tender meals, but I believe that's more a part of the economy: slightly smaller portions with slightly higher prices. However, I would always recommend Tony's as my local greasy spoon. When I want something heartier that the standard fast food chain can't match in size or price, Tony's is my go to. read more

Went here and got a great lunch a few days back. i'm certain we were the most annoying customers they had that day since we had to place more oders and keep calling back, thats what happens when you work at a big place and your coworkers have a bigger appetite. I broke my diet with a Gyro Cheeseburger and it was worth it! The Italian Beef was exceptional as well! The food was so delicious I ignored the eye lash in my burger! That's why I gave it 4 stars. I purchase a GYRO platter and Hotdogs and it was the worse EVER.. It was snowing outside, so I did not want to go back to the restaurant. I called them. The bread was so hard it was not ediable. The HotDog bread was broken in half. All I got was flap. No I am sorry and come back in on another day and we will take care of you. I left my phone number and NO ONE Called Back. I ordered a cheesesteak with fries. I was worried that it might be too greasy but I didn't want to ride all the way on the north side to get a cheesesteak. I hadn't eaten here for many years but I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did! It was delicious! Not greasy at all. It was exactly what I would expect from a great cheesesteak. The meat was seasoned well the veggies were nicely sautéed but not cooked to death. It was perfect! I only had to wait about 15 minutes which I didn't mind at all. I ate there nearly every day of the 2 weeks I visited, even purchased their wings for our family reunion they're soooooo good!!!!
