I hired him before Thanksgiving and was told he needed to order a part so we paid him 365. 3 weeks later part came in. This is at my rental and he promptly arced and burned out the new part and we told that the knob was stripped when I know it wasn't. He scheduled 3 times and never called or show up. My renters lost money having to take time off. The only good thing was he did try to fix it on Thanksgiving morning when he broke the part but the good thing I told him i wanted a full refund or I was showing up at his store in Gigharbor with police and a lawyer. I would give no star rating if I could. They couldn't be bothered to give me the slightest help. I asked if I could bring in a part to see if they had a replacement or could fix it. They told me that they didn't do that anymore. So I asked if I could just come and look they said no. I asked if he might know where I could find the part number. All I can say is the rest of the reviews are spot on. Apparently this guy has been doing the same thing for years. He promptly came out and diagnosed the dishwasher (although I don't know how he did it since he never let it get to the part where it was making the noise we were concerned about!). He said he had to order two parts but that it would take awhile because of the shipping problems. We waited several weeks then tried to call him. Since his voice mail was full I had to keep calling until he finally answered. He said he would check if the part came in when he got back to the office. Never heard from him. When I finally got ahold of him again he said he had the part and scheduled an appointment. Never showed up. When I got him again he said he had mixed me up with another customer. We scheduled another appointment and this time he actually called me to let me know his truck had broken down and he would be a couple hours late. Never heard from him again. I decided to order the part myself and do the work myself. He called me a few days later to say he could now come over. Needless to say I told him I did not want his services. He just said OK and hung up. I had the feeling that he hears that a lot! I plan on stopping at the address listed for him to get my money back. But I really doubt he has an office. Here's our brief encounter with customer service hell. They came out on Dec 11 to diagnose our broken dryer. They took the control panel to fix it and then disappeared for about a week, didn't attempt to contact us. My mom finally called them and they said that it couldn't be fixed, they needed to order a new one. They came out around the 17th to show my mom where the control panel was broken, and said she needed to pay up front to order the new part, so she did, $100. They said it would take 7-10 business days. By Friday the 5th at 4:00 we still hadn't heard from them, so Walker called and they said the new board had come in like three days previously. Why they didn't communicate any of this to us or attempt to make an appointment is beyond my comprehension. He asked when they were gonna bring it out, and they said they'd come Saturday. We waited around all day Saturday and they never called, never showed up. So another phone call, they promise they're gonna be here today, January 9th, at 1 pm. We wait around all day and by 2 pm, nobody is here and we haven't received any phone call. So I called and demanded to speak to the person in charge, and the owner/manager/whatever the fuck who says he is in charge, starts telling me this bullshit story about how they sent him the wrong part and he was in the car at 1230 on the way to our house with it when he realized so he didn't come because he has to order the part again. Again, why he chose not to let us know this and how he has had this part for a week without realizing it's the wrong part is literally beyond my understanding? I told him that was bullshit and asked why he didn't think to let us know instead of just leaving us hanging. I started getting very upset. Keep in mind we've paid more just doing our laundry at the laundromat at this point than the total cost to fix the dryer because of THEIR incompetence, AND they have already recieved $100 from us, this situation has been beyond aggravating. I began raising my voice asking these questions in total indignation and anger because we've already paid for this and he can't even provide the most BASIC LEVEL of customer service, so he starts yelling at me - not just raising his voice but yelling- "I KNOW YOURE RIGHT I GET IT I UNDERSTAND ILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK." Every time I try to ask "Why did you not communicate with us" he just yells back "I GET IT OKAY." So he promises he will be out here at noon tomorrow with our money and our part. I'm sorry, what? I thought you DIDNT HAVE OUR PART? So I told him no, we all have shit to do and can't sit around waiting for him day after day. I told him to be here by 5 pm today, no excuses, no bullshit, even having to threaten to get my lawyer involved first thing in the morning if he didn't come out. He showed up at 4 pm with my $ and immediately launched into more excuses, still no apology. I told him to stop and reiterated the issue and he began to raise his voice and put his hand up as if to tell me to shut up. I told him I did not need his attitude, that I know I have not been fun to deal with today but that comes down to HIS incompetence. This has been an exercise in bullshit. No part of this is okay. I told him REPEATEDLY that the issue isn't that they sent the wrong part, it's that he refuses to communicate and is just leaving a paying customer hanging, that if he would have just been keeping in touch with us about everything we wouldn't have an issue, but he just yelled on the phone and put his hand up to tell me to shut up ON MY PROPERTY while refunding me. He couldn't handle being in the wrong & chose to yell at me instead of apologizing. He said over and over again that I'm right, but he never apologized or asked how he could make this right. He only offered a refund so that I'd get off his back, which I KNOW I wouldn't have gotten had I not threatened him with my lawyer because my brother has found that two separate lawsuits have been brought against them for this type of bullshit that dragged on for MONTHS with other customers. read more

Did not do diagnostics, did not fix the freezer, yelled that 30 degrees F is freezing (when it's supposed to be 0 degrees F), refused to honor his guarantee, hung up on me.... Had a service call to get an estimate for repair of a freezer and washer. Charge was $75 and told a part had to be ordered. That was 6 months ago. Repeated calls made and no answer and no ability to leave message as voice mail not set up! Finally got an answer and appt. made which was not kept. 3 further appts made and NO SHOW! Owner finally answered the phone and made a feeble excuse and made another appt. When he got here, he did not have the required part for the freezer, said he wouldn't fix the washer since "somebody else had worked on it" and left. Nothing but excuses about the freezer part never being shipped ever since. Very unprofessional and now I'm out $75 for absolutely NOTHING but 6 months of inconveniences and lies. read more

I would not ever rate them one star but Yelp requires a review. This company is a sham. A technician came out Monday 2-12 and did not even inspect our double ovens. Told me that the controller was bad and needed to be replaced. He said total cost would be $1,784.40 and that he needed $892.20 up front (half the total cost) to order the controller. I gave him a check that he asked be made payable to Noelle Salvation-their accountant. Check was cashed at Bank of America immediately after they left our home. We checked the price of the controller online and it was listed $471.64!! We called Mr TV Appliance twice at 253-501-4861 and they did not call back. I called Manning Appliance and they came out to our house yesterday and completely inspected the ovens, ordered the controller and charged us $209.00 for the control board, $20.00 for labor and $109.00 for service call-total of $368.42-compared to $1,784.40. And Mr TV Appliance will not refund our $892.20, denies having the tech named "Sam" here and says they have no knowledge of a Noelle Salvation. I have their phone number on my cell phone so we have proof we called them for service. We are now preparing our documentation and will report this to the police. Total scam artists. read more

They don't answer the phone with the name of their business. It comes up as a location outside of Gig Harbor. In the end, am lucky they didn't show as I didn't give them any money.
