Had an excellent meal tonight with my husband and some friends. We split the aromatic shrimp as an appetizer. It was so much that 4 of us couldn't finish it. My friend ordered it, and I was really surprised at how tasty it was. We were so full that my husband and I split a chicken Marsala dish, which we ended up taking half of that home as well. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the Marsala sauce and chicken was delicious. I can't wait to eat the other half tomorrow. My friends had the ribeye and a wedge salad, and they shared bites with us. Both were really good. We all had cocktails, which were generous pours, and the singer in. We stopped in Friday night to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. We sat in the bar area because we weren't looking to have a real sit down dinner. We ordered lemon drop martinis that were delicious! The sugar rim was perfection, not too much sugar just the perfect amount. We wanted a few appetizers so we went with the aromatic shrimp. A pile of delicious shrimp on top of steamed broccoli. And the Mediterranean trio dip with pita. We were happy campers. They had a musician playing the flute and saxophone while singing a variety of music ranging from Lizzo to Marvin Gaye. Some people were up and dancing while others were jamming out in their booths. I have been to Mr. Vs several times, but this is my first review. My family and I (8 total) came in for Christmas Eve dinner this year. The ambiance was festive. Our server Paul was amazing! He had a great sense of humor and was on his A-game!!! Drinks were flowing and he was very timely with all our courses! We ordered three appetizers and all were fantastic - aromatic shrimp (always so so good), the calamari was perfectly fried and not greasy at all, and the sesame honey feta appetizer was an unexpected hit! For dinner, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her filet and my husband said his fish and chips were very good. Bro in law ordered the jambalaya and said it was good. My nephew ordered the rack of lamb and thoroughly enjoyed it. I couldn't pass up a bite and agreed it was absolutely delicious. Very juicy and tender and well-seasoned! My brother ordered the prime rib end cut and said it was great. I'm not a fan of well-done meat so did not try. Lastly, my daughter and I decided to split the fillet and lobster since it was a special occasion. I don't typically order lobster but since my daughter had never tried it, I thought what the heck- it was Christmas Eve! Filet was cooked to a perfect medium, and was perfectly cooked and seasoned and dipped in their Bernaise sauce made it melt in your mouth. The lobster was quite disappointing though. My daughter's first comments were "fishy" and "tough" which I had to agree with. We didn't love it which was quite disappointing being that this was a market price meal and probably not cheap. Lol. (This is my reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.) Desserts ordered were delicious especially the Crème brûlée and cheesecake. Nice evening, overall. When dining at Mr. V's we always sit in bar area and usually go on a Friday or Saturday night. In the bar area they have music and Fernando is amazing entertainment. Janette and the other staff provided great service. I had the prime rib and baked potato, which was really good. I have dined her many times and have had other dishes as in the pork chop and filet and I have always been satisfied with the quality of my meal. My friend ordered the sea bass and she loved it. The quality of the food is unexpected for the area. It's location is between a gas station and some house garage entrances . Chicken Marsala -they use chicken breast which idk if it does well with the rest of the dish. The texture wasn't right to me. It felt a bit stringy. If this was made with dark meat, it would be perfect. The sauce is good. A little oily though. The veggies were cooked with a nice crunch. I got to try two types of chrome dishes . One was the Kung POW shrimp. The flavors were okay. The dynamite shrimp , this one was okay too. The fried coconut shrimp appetizer was good. They used jumbo shrimp. The sweat and sour sauce was okay. This is a fine dinning restaurant located somewhere I wouldn't expect it to be. read more

Had a reservation for 4pm thinking I would be able to find a parking spot (after reading reviews of that being the only negative thing). I have never seen a parking lot and surrounding areas so disorganized for a public facility. Just getting out of the place was hard enough due to the one way arrows that lead to a narrow alley that emptied into Rosecrans with a right turn only blindside view. I tried to park across the street but that had a bunch of signs saying no parking except for Pep Boys customers. Tried again to park in the valet area, no attendant present. We stopped to ask about the parking and the 3 people smoking who did work there were rather snarky with their sarcastic words. I really wanted to enjoy a 70th birthday celebration for my wife and was looking forward to an obvious extensive menu but that, I'm afraid, will never happen due to the atrocious parking. One thing I do want to know is WHERE THE HELL DO PEOPLE PARK other than the 10 or 15 max spots for valet with no attendant available at the time. They are missing out on a lot more business unless that is fixed. read more
