This Chinese restaurant just soft-opened on 2024-07-19. It is their second location; their first is in Vancouver. Their focus is noodles during the day and skewers during the evening. I came on their opening day 15 mins after opening. I chose to try their noodles. They are $6.99 or 2 for $14.99. The $14.99 cones with a Milk Tea bubble tea. You can have unlimited refills of the noodles. The sauces (meat bowls) are small (3- inch diameter) so I'm glad I ordered two. I ordered the following: A03: Beijing traditional sauce. A04: Potatoes, curry, greens, bell peppers,  beef brisket. The A04 is really good. I didn't find any bell peppers which is fine with me because I don't like bell peppers. At first the bubble tea employee wasn't there so they wanted to substitute a pop. I insisted that they give me a discount on the $14.99 because a pop is worth less than a bubble tea; they had to call someone about that! 20 mins later, the bubble tea person show up and offered me a small bubble tea. It was a warm Milk Tea with Agar Bubbles, 50% sugar level. The bubble tea is reasonable an possibly worth $2.50. The restaurant was well-lit, clean, had no background music, and a constant drone of their kitchen exhaust fan. There were multiple TV screens but they were not on. I had three issues with the restaurant. 1. I saw they had serving dishes of they 9 noodle sauces. I was able to see the flavours and ask them about it. Then I was told not to stand close and their menu picture look like it. I told them that A02 and A04 do not look like their pictures! Later I told them they should have plexiglass protecting the food or don't put it so close to their edge of the kitchen so that customers can see them! 2. I already outlined the issue with the bubble tea. 3. I took a few pics of their very open kitchen and the 9 noodle sauces. Soon after their manager saw me and told me I am not allowed to take pictures! He didn't speak much English so one of the waiters had to tell me. I was allowed to take pictures of the food served to me. I later asked the waiter why, since in Toronto, there will be many people taking pictures! He said he was OK with it but the manager worries that people will copy their layout and food. I told him if they don't want pictures, don't make it an open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant and don't put the sauces within photo distance! It remains me of the one and only other time I was not allowed to take pictures. Back in 2006, I was at a Korean restaurant. I was taking pictures of my food at my table. The owner told me I was not allowed to take pictures. I asked him why. He told me I could copy his food ingredients and open my own restaurant! I never went back to that restaurant ever again! Too bad I wasn't writing reviews back then. Wow, in 2024, in the heart of Toronto's Chinatown, the manager is worried that I would copy his restaurant. Any restaurant owner or chef is capable of copying without pictures! Later on, they offered me an A14 Refreshing Cucumber ($3.99) for free. During their soft-opening period of 2024-07-19 to 26, there are two promotions: 1. 15% discount on all 9 sauces/flavours of their Asian-style noodles. 2. From 18:00 to midnight, you get 10% discount on beer. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with door-open buttons. There are two gender-neutral washrooms, but they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking and free 1-hour parking along Oxford St. Review 2024-136

$14.99 for an all-day combo that includes two noodle topping of your choice and a milk tea / juice is a pretty good deal in this economy plus, they offer unlimited refill for noodles Out of nine toppings and sauces available, I picked the Beijing traditional flavour and Tom Yum Seafood. The sauce was served in small bowls with loads of ingredients ( the Tom Yum seafood is amazing!!!) and just pour into the noodles, stir, and enjoy! They use a mini stove to keep the skewers hot throughout the meal. And how sweet, to include a milk tea in the combo It's spacious between table, and staff are helpful. It's a good place for a lunch alone, or Friday night dinner with friends!

This newly opened noodle shop is located close to the university campus. Compared to the nearby restaurants, the prices here are relatively affordable, and you can refill the noodles as much as you want, making it quite suitable for students to dine at. 呢間新開嘅米線舖,好近大學校園。對比附近嘅餐廳,價錢算係相對便宜,而且米線有得任添,幾啱學生去食。

We had dinner here while touring the area a few days ago. The food and service were excellent and the prices are very reasonable. They make their own fresh noodles.

Decent amount of seating but be prepared to wait. Clean restaurant. Food quality was unmatched, even when considering that it's all you can eat. You can ask for the meats without the sauce if you prefer. Don't skip the dessert either as it was very good.

I ended up being super impressed by the quality and tatse of the dishes! Some of our faves included the garlic marinated brisket and the rib-eye. Meat was good quality and there were lots of options for side dishes, such as sushi, chicken wings, or your more typical kimchi/beansprouts/spinach etc. It is BUSY, be prepared to wait. You can make a reservation with 6 people but you'll still wait a bit. Loud, but vibey! Servers were very attentice and super patient. Where improvement could be made, honestly, is upgrading to an ipad or some sort of ordering system. This would lighten the load on the servers and keep things a bit more organized-- we had a couple things we had to order a few times before they showed up.

Really disappointing experience…read more I placed a $200+ Uber Eats order for myself and guests on a Friday night, expecting a reliable dinner from a BBQ restaurant. Instead, I waited over an hour with no update. When I finally called the restaurant to check on the order, I was casually told that it had been cancelled because they ran out of food. The problem is that no one bothered to notify me. No message in the app, no call -- nothing. I was simply left waiting for over an hour for an order they apparently already knew they couldn't fulfill. What made it worse was the attitude on the phone. The person I spoke with was rude and dismissive, with no apology or attempt to make the situation right. Now I'm told the refund could take up to 10 business days to return to my credit card. Running out of food happens. Ignoring a $200+ order for over an hour on a Friday night and then being rude to the customer is unacceptable. Plenty of better BBQ options in the city -- I won't be ordering from here again.

I think they are going for the back yard cookout theme- a bunch of guys at the back working the slow cooker. It smells like a bbq, slow and smoky. Overall a decent place but no parking. The Main Street streetcar does stop right in front.
