For anyone in the Providence area of Northwest Las Vegas, Mr. Jim's is a great spot if you're craving some good pizza. It's located in a strip mall at Hualapai and Elkhorn, and honestly if you didn't know you could easily miss the store since it's pretty unassuming from the outside, and that would be a shame. It's not a sit down place, it's just for takeout, though there is some limited seating for customers to wait while picking up. There is also plenty of parking available by the store. Their signature phrase is "It's the Crust" and it is really good due to them making it fresh in store rather than using pre-prepared frozen dough. Every pizza I've had from here has been of good quality, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. It is also good value to boot, especially if you pick up rather than getting it delivered. Overall, this is a great local spot, and a step up from the big chains in quality. If you're in the area be sure to give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

As for the pizza, we ordered the sticky fingers pizza, basically a supreme. It smelled better than it tasted. Toppings were bland but the sauce was actually pretty tasty. This was my first time ever having Mr. Jim's Pizza! I didn't realize that it is a counter-serve chain offering pizza with a variety of toppings. One of their features is that It's the crust! Mr. Jim's pizza dough isn't shipped pre-stretched to their stores or even frozen. It's made fresh in the kitchen! Mr. Jim's Pizza offers gluten-free, cauliflower, keto pizza in a pan, and original and thin crust dough. It's nice that this chain offers a wide range of different types of doughs. We ended up ordering the following [2] medium pizzas at Mr. Jim's for pickup [1] Original - BBQ Pizza with Bacon and Chicken [1] Thin Crust - Cheese Pizza It wasn't too expensive for both pizzas, around $30.00 total. The food lasted us for several days! The original crust style, BBQ pizza with Bacon and Chicken, was scrumptious. It was my favorite out of the two! There was plenty of BBQ sauce on the dough and a ton of bacon! The chicken pieces blended well with the pizza style. The highlight was the dough, with sprinkled parmesan cheese on the crust! The Thin Crust Cheese Pizza was interesting. The marinara sauce used was really sweet, and there was a lot on the pizza. I'm not used to super sweet marinara sauces. It was good for a change! The pizza is pretty good for a local spot. We like the sizes of the individual pizzas if you have a light appetite you can do a couple of meals with it. The crust is great and cooked perfectly. Ok I'm from Detroit and it says the owner is from Detroit so I liked both the round and the Detroit style but he needs to teach his employees how Detroit style is made. You shouldn't see any crust or rounded corners. It should be cheese crust all around and heavy cheese on the corners. Corners are the best part of Detroit pizza. Theirs had rounded corners and the cheese was not completely covering the pizza. I feel robbed of my corner slices! Round was pretty good. Plenty of parking, no one was at the cashier all workers were in the back. No dinning in available, they offer 2 litters for a whopping $5 each. There is a bench to sit and wait for order. Kitchen is visible from entrance, For the most part looked clean and stalked with Togo containers. One guy came forward asked if I was picking up, no hello or nice greeting. Said our order is still being made, he estimated another 10 minutes. They offer delivery which was going to be charged $7 for delivery when I live 2 minutes away so decided to pick up. They have "deals" on their website that you apply codes. I spent over $30 for a large pepperoni one topping, a side salad not even a small salad like it says on the website with a small pasta that mentioned comes with 2 added toppings, but it actually doesn't because your charged $2 for 2 toppings. Pizza was good a little on the greasy side but that's kind of given when you have pepperoni, stuffed crust was good with the garlic parmesan on crust. Side salad was good just wished it was a little bigger for a small salad and not a side salad, chicken was good. The photo that was taken for their "chicken nuggets" is not what you get. It's tenders chopped up and it's two itty-bitty frozen tenders or one large size. Penne pasta looked burnt on the edges but it wasn't burnt. Tasted good for a pizza joint, overall everything was good just pictures from "Business Owner" are misleading and not all accurate. Their deals aren't really deals after seeing what you get. I accidentally ordered the wrong pizza (completely my fault). When I realized it wasn't the pizza I thought I had ordered, I brought it back inside. Even though the error was mine, the team quickly worked to get the pizza I meant to have ordered into the oven! I apologized and offered to pay for the replacement, but the team was so gracious and said it wasn't necessary. How come when I write a review, I feel like Gordon Ramsey on kitchen nightmares anyway salad was crisp and fresh. I did request no croutons but they didn't listen apparently. My custom built pasta dish was fettuccini, fresh mushrooms, Italian sausage in a roasted garlic sauce. It was really good yet only had 1 mushroom in it . I can't recall the last time I was here but I know my kids were under 10. There in their mid 20's now. But I enjoyed it. Funny thing, if you have to use paper to keep the table cloth clean...then don't use a table cloth. Looks so tacky. Their still a little Covid19 paranoid but hopefully they'll come out of it soon. This was a good pizza! My son and I were looking for a quick bite to eat during our busy day of moving. My son just moved into the area and we noticed Mr Jim's as we drove by. We ordered a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza, a sticky fingers pizza and a gluten-free pizza for my sons girlfriend who is Celiac. I enjoyed the pepperoni Jalapeño pizza the most because I like the spice and it seemed really cheesy and good. The sticky fingers pizza was a combination pizza with hat also had a lot of good flavors but not intended to be spicy. My son was glad to see that there was gluten free options because as I mentioned, he just moved into the area. I know we will be back to this place again. Okay, we've been in this neighborhood for about 2 years now and have always wanted to try this place as a an option. We finally decided to do it. We called in our order, the girl on the phone was super nice. She's a good salesperson. We ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza with extra sauce. She asked if I would like the extra sauce on underneath the cheese or on top. I didn't know on too was an option so I opted for that. She then asked if I wanted anything else. O asked how the wings are. She said they are great, but would recommend the buffalo over the barbecue. So we went ahead and ordered them. She said it would be about 15 minutes. GREAT!!! Here's where it starts to go downhill. We arrive about 15-20 minutes later and pizza is not ready, no big deal. I pay and I wait. She starts a conversation while the other girl is making pizzas. O asked if it was a busy day and she said yes, we've had about 35 pizzas ordered today. Yikes, that doesn't sound like much to me but okay. I walk over to their little freezer where they have frozen yogurt cups pre-packed and they are yogurt land, I love that yogurt. I asked if they always have this and she says yes. She then proceeds to ask if I would like some free since they'll have to throw some out anyway. I say sure. She hands me a couple and we head back to the counter. She asks if I'd like a bag for the cups and I accept. She then heads to the kitchen where the other girl is making the pizza. I notice her saying something to the other girl and she starts scrambling to fix whatever it is. I don't think much of it, looked like she was making another order in addition to mine. She goes to the pizza that the other girl is boxing and see her put something on it. Seemed like they forgot to out something on someone's pizza. Fine. She hands me my pizza and wings and I head home We get home and the pizza smells really good. Open up the box, mistake one, the pizza was not cut, mistake two, there is no extra sauce on the pizza, mistake 3 looks like the mushrooms were added after the pizza was made, mistake 4 the pizza was cold!!!! As for the taste, it was HORRIBLE!!!! I love pizza and would gladly go back to any establishment that serves decent pizza, but the sauce just tasted like tomato sauce out of a can, the crust was soft and cold I'm pretty sure is was Boboli from the grocery stores. not for me!!!!! Oh and the yogurt, IT WAS EXPIRED!!!!! What the hell!!!!!! The wings were the worst I've ever had, they tasted like microwave food, EVERYTHING DID!!!! They should focus on perfecting pizza first.
