Unfortunately, the person at the register was listless and rude. A receipt wasn't offered or given. When I mistakenly ordered the wrong size pie (13 vs 16") I was told "we don't have a 13" with zero follow up, just silence and a dead-eyed stare. I ordered through Uber eats and my meal was absolutely disgusting. Nearly $40, for lasagna which had no flavor. I ordered a garlic knot, I got two and they were just bread in a knot with a whisper of garlic and the worst garlic cheese bread I've ever had. I will never order from this place again. The lasagna was pathetic. It was huge but flavorless. And the sauce was greasy AF. It just slid off the lasagna. It wouldn't even stick to the garlic knot it was just dipping it in pure grease. I poured some of the grease into a cup and transferred my lasagna to a plate hoping that would help the situation but you'll see from my pictures. It's just a vat of Greece sitting in the to go container and I had maybe five bites total of this dinner and my stomach hurts because it was just pure grease. I feel like. And the garlic bread with cheese was just as bad it barely tasted like garlic. The butter was disgusting on it. I think maybe they use margarine almost it was unpleasant and lukewarm. There was nothing redeeming about this meal at all. It was one of the worst meals I've ever had. We decided to order take out for dinner since it was a Sat night and getting close to peak dinner times. We were expecting a long wait but pleasantly surprised by a quick turnaround for our order. Not to mention, everyone was so happy with our orders! The penne with pink sauce rivaled the best of the best for us. It was pretty fantastic in my opinion and was enjoyed by all - definitely 5 stars. The chicken in the pasta with alfredo sauce with broccoli/chicken was a bit drier than preferred, but the flavor was still very good. It was also not quite fettuccine noodles but more linguine (no problem for us but if you are particular about the specific noodles, fyi). We also ordered a veggie pizza and happy with that. Solid pizza joint & minutes away from a friends we were hankering for a good pizza and he recommended this place. Definitely NY-style & reasonably priced. I ordered the lasagna pizza on a whim last night and I have a new favorite pizza place in Las Vegas just like that *snaps*. I also ordered the rice balls. DA BOMB. I can only imagine the taste fresh in house because even via delivery the crust was crispy but not tough, flavorful and they really nailed it with the lasagna flavor. Came here after a long morning of running errands with my mini and decided on stopping by here for lunch! I've taken lunch to go before from here since its not too far from my workplace! The service is quick and the workers are very helpful. I have tried many things here and all have been good. Today we had the eggplant dinner and a large pizza. I am from Brooklyn and this pizza taste like the good pizza back in Brooklyn. The oil on the pizza is nearly perfect. While eating the pizza, the last slice eaten tastes as good as the first slice. A sign of a good tasting pizza. Asked for it well done and got a good char on the crust. There were free refills on soft drinks. That is something that you can not get in Brooklyn. Bathroom was clean. Love all the personal pictures of New York. The employees were warm and friendly. It was a good dining experience and will return on my next visit to Las Vegas. read more

The lack of acknowledgment and customer service at the register from the person who takes your orders is ridiculous. Why are you asking whose next when the person whose next is standing right in front of your face? And lately their pizzas haven't really been up to par so not sure why I should keep coming here. I decided to spread out and get pizza in my neighborhood from somewhere different than normal. After checking menus online, Roccos fit the bill. I did an online order for a Sicilian style pizza. To that I added mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage as additional toppings at an additional charge. I made it for 3 pm pickup. I showed up about 3 minutes early. They couldn't find my order in their system. I showed the counter critter my email confirmarion. He went in the back, came back, and asked if he could see confirmation again. During this time, someone looked at the name on a box sitting on top of the oven.. After the critter returned a second time from the back, he checked that box, and, yes, that was my pizza. Not a very auspicious start. They kept the receipt so I have no idea what it said or what the problem was. I brought the pizza home and opened the top of the box. I was a little surprised that I couldn't see any sausage and only a small amount of mushrooms. I removed one of the little tables and put a piece on my plate. After some salt and lots of red pepper flakes, I started to eat the pizza. I learned that their sausage is different from what I've ever had before. Instead of cooked ground sausage, they had small shavings off a cooked link of sausage. A curious change but not nearly enough sausage. The crust was the thickness I like but the center was a bit soft. It could have been baked more. It appears that I have to keep looking for another place to try. Not all Rocco's in the valley have the same owner so to me, this location is THE BEST! I have often stopped by for a slice of cheese and a take home tiramisu, but I recently tried a take home pasta from the freezer fridge. Grabbing the lasagna ($14.99) it was a good size for two. I also grabbed a tiramisu and 2 loaves of fresh bread. To effectively plan your at home baking, I followed the recommendation of the staff to defrost by letting it sit out on the counter for a good bit. I then put it in the oven and baked at 375-deg for 40 minutes with a "foil tent". Then I took the foil tent off after 40 min so the cheese on top could start to brown. How long you have to bake it depends on how frozen the dish still is - so it's a judgement call. I put the bread I got wrapped in foil in the oven to warm up as well. The result? Wow! Lasagna was delicious!!! So gooood!! Piping hot and mozzarella nicely browned on top. I'm definitely a fan of this take home dish and would get it again! The one thing I will update on is the take home frozen marinara sauce ($9.99) which I have had defrosting slowly in the fridge. More to come - but if you don't mind a take home approach, I would recommend the frozen entrees and goods! read more

They make pizza, strombolis, salads, pastas, sandwiches, and really delicious and super garlicky knots. The white pizza with lots of ricotta and garlic offers a really great creamy texture, and you can't go wrong with the classic pepperoni or cheese pies. There's two great weekly deals as well. On Mondays you can get a 16" large pizza for only $11.99 and on Tuesdays all pastas and entrees are only $12.99 (seafood excluded). My only issue is that sometimes the pizza gets too dark underneath and it changes the entire flavor profile which I don't dig. As a kid, I got burned out on eating pizza every weekend with my parents. I went years without eating pizza. Thanks to Rocco's New York pizzeria, I am now a fan again! This is my favorite Rocco's location here in Vegas. Staff members are always so friendly and hospitable. On this particular visit, I ordered a large everything pizza, a lasagna with cheesy garlic bread that was to die for, and a dinner salad. Back home in Kansas City, Missouri there is a restaurant favorite as my kids and myself called Da Bronx. I really enjoyed their sandwiches especially their Reuben's. I noticed that this Rocco's has a Da Bronx hat for sale. I am going to definitely come back to buy one for my oldest boy. He will love it! I have only ordered takeout here, but there are tables inside, as well as some outside. There are several pictures on the wall, a couple TVs, and as I look at all the pictures I get the feeling that I am actually visiting New York. I love supporting Rocco's. Great pizza joint where you can grab slices or entire pies. If you grab a slice they are pretty big and taste great. This pizza is very thin and crispy. I enjoy their sausage and pepperoni pizza. If you'd like an entire pie it's best to call ahead since they can get busy especially on weekends. They also offer salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Let me start out by saying that I have been recently been on a quest for my personal favorite pizza in Las vegas. As someone who really appreciates Pizza, I have been contemplating that there are a number of distinct types I need to take into account. So currently I have been looking for my favorite New York style, favorite brick oven, and others. Sometimes I've gone to three pizzerias in a single day to try to find the best of any one of those. And more. My criteria for New York style pizza are: 1 ) crust that cracks when you fold it, 2) a combination of cheese and sauce that leads to a dappled Orange slightly yellow red and tinges of brown surface, 3) a sauce flavor that is a little sweet a little tangy very light on the herbs so as they are essentially perfectly integrated, and 4) a nearly second layer of the crust that is underneath the cheese and sauce that is a little bit chewy that holds the sauce and the cheese in while the subcrust cracks. Flavor is primary, the physical characteristics are secondary. After trying so many different pizzerias in Vegas, I have to say Rocco's is the very best at this type of pizza. I've had pies delivered twice in the last week and both times they were excellent. Now I need to find if they'll sell me their dough. read more

Missing items, wrong charges for what was ordered....starting to feel real shady. Not okay. This WAS our pizza spot and I highly recommended them to everyone. I will never recommend this location ever again. About 2 months ago, I was charged twice for one order and, after contacting the store for a refund, I was told that had to go through the owner. So then it was up to me to contact the owner to get my money. No one reached out to me and it took multiple texts and phone calls to get my money back. I had to threaten to contact my bank and the BBB before I got a response. I decided to give them another shot tonight when my husband really wanted their pizza. Missing items from our order. Again. The pizza is good. The attention to orders is laughable. Don't waste your money. You'll only get half your order and good luck getting money back on stuff you didn't get. read more

I've been a customer of this Rocco's for many years. After Rocco sold this location I kept going there because its close to home and has been good. We liked their antipasto salad but the number of meat and cheese pinwheels included on the salad is a lot fewer than it used to be. Their sandwiches are still very good but the pizza is not what it was. I don't now what they changed, maybe the suce but it isn't very good anymore. My last pickup order for two pizzas which I called in, was messed up in that instead of a half pepperoni half sausage they gave me an everything with what looked like extra pepperoni. That was $6 extra vs what I ordered.They even confirmed the pizza while I was standing there (almost 15 minutes after promised time). The second pie was correct. Inaccurate order, pizza not as good as it was and long waits vs promised time; I will be going elsewhere for take out pizza. read more
