Step through these doors and prepare yourself for some deliciousness!

We had Cajun garlic noodles, french fries and easy peel shrimp with the head off. It was all delicious, and the service was exceptional. Enjoyed it so much that we came back again!

Definitely a Hidden gem! A must try if you are visiting Palm Springs! Not only is the food amazing but the service makes your visit even better. Very kind and attentive people. Restaurant is very clean and spacious. 10/10! I will definitely be coming back and recommending my friends and family here. Thank you for the delicious food and for the pleasant experience.

Dungeness and king crab drenched in that crazy sauce ‍

Honestly I have tried many seafood boil places not only in the valley but in different states. This place is definitely worth the price! The owner and staff were extremely friendly and cooked that food with their soul. The owner's crazy sauce is so good! We made our own bag and chose the medium Crazy sauce flavor which had a sweet and spicy kick to it. Don't let the price scare you, they aren't stingy with their servings and you definitely get some QUALITY AND QUANTITY! Seafood boil is expensive everywhere, but at least here ITS WORTH, trust. The place was clean, had good music, and a nice robot serving the food. The robot made sure you get your meal and had manners. This my new favorite spot!

Clams, shrimp and snow crab with sausage and potatoes and corn. House sauce at hot level

Came in here for some dinner after a search in the desert valley. Took a second to find it in the shopping center as it was a little hidden. After review of the menu and a couple pointers on what was is in and out of season I decided to build my own. I went with 1lb of peeled shrimp, 2 lbs of clams, and snow crab 1lb with sausage potatoes and corn. I did the house sauce and made it hot. Food was good especially with the clams and they definitely did not skimp on weight. Food was piping hot and flavors were really good. The only complaint I would have was the snow crab was cooked a little too long but other than that everything was solid. Service was very attentive and always filled my ice tea up without letting it get below the half way point. I would most definitely come back here again when live crawfish is season to add to the bowl!

During the month of August, they take their holiday break as it's pretty quiet in the desert. A lot of other businesses tends to do the same thing. We made sure to stop by for dinner right before they closed for the summer and when they opened back up, we were back. Opening night after their holiday break was the Friday of Labor Day weekend. And let me say, they were BUSY. People know about this place and that's a must. We've been coming for years as it's my favorite seafood restaurant in the desert. Right in the heart of downtown and literally walking distance from the bars along arena and the casino. Staff are alway so friendly and welcoming. Not only that, the two brothers are amazing. The sweetest and amazing at what they do, make amazing meals. They opened back up on Friday 9/4 but we stopped by Saturday 9/5. When we arrived around 7:30, the place was packed. The whole patio area was full of hungry people as well as inside. The kitchen bar top, bar area as well as the hi tops all were utilized. It's nice to be back knowing that you're going to have an amazing meal. Also we noticed a lot of their regulars back for opening night. You know it's a favorite as the regular are back for an amazing meal. It was a little wait for the kitchen counter seating but not too bad. Menu if you haven't checked it out is seafood and more seafood. They do offer some meat dishes if seafood isn't your thing. Friday, lobster bisque is offered. Basically everything we've had here has alway been excellent. Started off with the steamed green mussels in a white wine broths. The flavors and the meat mix with the broth, so good. Plus don't forget the garlic bread for dipping. Entrees, the Ruben which is my favorite. I can always get this and be happy each and every time. A wide selection of seafood tossed in a white wine with linguine, chefs kiss. Plus we tried the seafood kabobs for the first time which was quite nice. Very simple with jumbo prawns, scallops, seasonal fish and veggies skewered and grilled. Served with an orange chili glazed and choice of rice or pasta. The flavors were delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. The staffs are always so welcoming and friendly. Food of course is amazing and fresh. One of my favorite restaurants in Palm Springs that's a must for food. If you can, have a seat at the kitchen counter. You get to interact with the chefs and see all the amazing dishes being prepared. Basically the chefs table. Until next time.

Lightly breaded and fried perfectly. It was not greasy in the least. It was light, flaky and delicious. Bex opted for the house made tartar sauce, while I love just a drizzle of malt vinegar. The fisherman's chips were like fat curly fries. They were excellent. The Ahi Taco. Woah! This was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The ahi was fresh and expertly seared. The plum sauce was absolutely amazing but did not overpower the fish. It was a great compliment to it. So f*king good! Our friends shared the Pasta Diablo. Sautéed shrimp and mushrooms in a "Special Spicy Sauce" with linguini alfredo. This is a spectacular dish, order it! On night two we ordered a few things to share among the four of us. *Ray Ray Sauce and Bread *Steamed Mussels (white wine, butter and garlic sauce) *Oysters Rockefeller (broiled with spinach, topped with Mornay sauce and jalapeño bacon) *Crispy Chicken Wings (buffalo) and I added a cup of clam chowder. It was all so good! You really can't make a bad decision at Shanghai Reds. After finishing our meals, we left the bar area and moved to a table on the patio to enjoy our drinks and the live music. It was so fun! Shanghai Reds - believe the hype!
