It was still early afternoon and they are already out of rice.. but they didn't take it out of our bill, good thing that we caught it before paying. Also, if you are a party of 5 or more, service charge of 18% is automatically added on your bill. But when you get the bill, an additional tip is added so I removed it. I thought should I have frozen fish and chips from Costco or go out for fish and chips, well it turned out to be Costco frozen food anyway!!!! Not fresh battered fish. Grab a cute little lobster bib and dig in! We started with a bowl of creamy comforting clam chowder. A pound of headless shrimp followed in the house sauce. Mild had acnicely balanced amount of spice with a lot of flavor. Add the lemon juice, salt pepper dip for heavenly bites of shrimp just wrangled from their shells. Do dunk the shrimp with every bite. Wife and I in for dinner Friday August 2, 2024, ordered dinner for two, shrimp head off plus pound of mussels and additional order of sausage. Dinner came out minus additional sausage. We informed server of the oversite and was informed by the server " I'm going to be sincere, we counted 10 sausages". So in other words we are lying to cheat them out of what $5.00 on an $78.00 bill. What she didn't consider is there were two other tables served right before us and I'm sure one of those tables received additional sausage. She was quite indignant when we asked to speak to manager who was out on an errand. My wife had to ask same server at least a half dozen times for takeout box for leftovers. Don't be distracted by the location...this place has good crab boil! We stumbled upon this place because we ordered food from their neighbors. The joyous laughter that was coming from a group.that was leaving the rest is what drew our attention. We really like seafood so we grabbed a menu and said we would return the next day. When we returned for lunch, we were warmly greeted by Trinity (also greeted us the night before). We ordered 2 lbs of snow crab with potatoes, corn, and the medium Cajun spice. We only got one photo of the food because once we opened the bag, put on our gloves, and started eating, no one was gonna stop to take pics! I made a spur-of-the-moment decision to try this location. They kept the same footprint as the restaurant that occupied the space since previously. Basic concept is ordering various crustaceans and a sauce, served in a bag. There are several add-ons that can be added to your bag, like corn, sausage, potatoes, hard boiled eggs, etc. I got head-on shrimp (cheaper than beheaded shrimp.) with the house sauce. I added a piece of corn, sausage, and a few potatoes. The sauce was good. I actually expected it to be more vinegary than it was, which I appreciated. The flavor was good, though a touch more heat would have made it even better. When served, you're brought a big silver bowl, a paper boat, a bib. There are paper towels on the table. I asked the server how he suggested I eat this, as I was confused by the bowl and the paper boat. He said most people dumped the contents into the bowl and throw the shells into the bag. So, I did that. I realized later that I could have used the paper boat as a kind of plate. After my food arrived, I was checked on several times, which I appreciated. I had asked for a refill of my water and tea. What was fun about my experience was the robot server. Food is sent out to the table on a robot. A human took the food off of the robot and put it on the table, but seeing the little machine tool around was fun to watch. There were several things on the menu that I want to return and try, including fish and chips and the clam chowder. read more

The mussels are huge(from New Zealand) and they have the biggest and freshest shrimp in the valley.Clams are good too. Haven't tried the crawfish but will next time. WOW JUST WOW okay for starters, the fact that there is a seafood place in the desert that tastes better than the boiling crab and snow and crab any other place by the pier, is CRAZY. we are extremely picky about our seafood and the freshness. The shrimp and crawfish was on point, made to perfection and the shrimp consistency was perfect. Not rubbery at all. Most places overcook the shrimp. The sauce was SO AMAZING and delicious. The chavellas were perfect, they came with chamoy shrimp and the chamoy stick. Not even authentic Mexican restaurants have this. So good. MATTHEW, we have never encountered such a sweet and kind hearted human being. He greeted us immediately when we walked through the door and sat us right away. Explained everything on the menu and when we asked for his recommendations he did not disappoint. He was super friendly, out going, bubbly and professional. He is going to be one of the main reasons we come back. I can't believe how amazing the food and service was. The one critique we had was the sausage, it Had an interesting flavor and it was a little warm but we don't even care because it was so bomb! We can't wait to come back. I got their signature sauce and initially ordered spicy but our server suggested medium and I'm glad she did. Pleasantly spicy and very flavorful. I think full spicy would have nuked my taste buds. I opened with a Michelada and it was worth the $12. It came with 2 peeled shrimp and not only a seasoned rim, but a seasoned straw. My party shared a bucket of Coronas for $35 (6 for the price of 5 deal). Pros: Excellent value. Excellent quality seafood. Hard boiled egg in addition to corn, sausage and potato was nice. Servers knew their product. Cons: Decor was lacking and the AC was having trouble keeping up with the heat. Servers could clear the tables more frequently. Overall I would say try this place out and if you like it put in your regular rotation. Unfortunate but this will be our last visit here. We have been here many times and over that period their food quality kept changing. This was verified by a server that they changed brands. This time around was just too much to deal with. The sausage has been diff but still ok but the shrimp now is noticeably smaller and tasted raw. I asked for them to correct it and they brought some out nearly 20 mins later. Although not a whole lot better, they only brought 1 lb to replace the 2lb order that we couldnt even eat. As a gesture they took 10% off. That does no good when your entire 50 dollar order is inedible. Again the staff here has always been great but i literally paid 80 bucks for sausage and fries today since all our shrimp was raw and not edible. read more
