I went there every week and followed diet menu they gave me, I lost 15lbs after two months. Although I spent a lot of money, but the results worth it. There are a few things that I like: *Enviroment: This place is huge with elegant deco. Treatment rooms are clean and neat. *Staff: Every staff welcomed me every time I walked in to the spa. *Profession: They explained all treatments details in the consultation. During my treatment session, the therapists always asked me if I was following the diet and showed me my progress afterwards. I usually get lazy to write reviews on yelp. I bought the groupon on line for 12 times of Zerona. The therapy and nurse are friendly and helpful. After three times of the treatment, I lost close to 2 inches on my waist. I add Tri-action treatment on my fourth visit. I have wrinkles caused by my second baby. It works great and without any uncomforted. I started with MS SLIM with my LA friends at their first Rowland Height location. They offer many different body contouring treatments. The one I got is called Tri Action+ Venus Freeze. It helped me reduce my hard fat. I went there for 12 treatments and I lost about 10 pounds. One of my friends got "Coolsculpting" over there. It's a one time medical treatment of reducing fat. She is really happy with the result. I gave them 5 stars reviewing not only because of the good result but also for the nice customer service...Btw, the tea over there is sooo good~ ..... The ladies here are wonderful and they do NOT try to up-sell you on anything useless you might not need (my biggest pet peeve). Even though I'm not Chinese which is their primary clientele target, I have no issue scheduling appts/communicating with the staff. Their hydra facial is exceptional and it leaves your skin so smooth and clean. I love the CLEAN facility, very nice technicians, and I know that I will be a client for a very long time! I'm quite picky when it comes to places like this because I can't tolerate feeling pressured, but the ladies here are not like that at all. I am giving 3 stars cause the ladies were nice, but the next day my mother-in-law and I were sore and bruised from the massage. the receptionist asked how we like the massage, well for 1 we paid for a relaxing aromatherapy message, but that's not what we got. We told her we wanted a relaxing message, but the ladies were pretty rough- no communication it seemed. this was my first time getting a message and it was not the most pleasant memory. relaxing a bit, but I did not order a deep tissue message. I had the classic facial which included a nice, relaxing facial massage before and after the entire procedure. She was very professional yet casual enough where you wouldn't feel uncomfortable with having some stranger touching your face. Personally, I'm a chatterbox most of the time and she's very good with keeping up a conversation if you so choose to have one! If not, she's find with that, too. All she really cares about is your relaxation and comfort while you are in her care. The facial itself lasts about 90 minutes and I always leave feeling refreshed and more than satisfied! I almost got cheated out of $1,100 for a liposonix treatment that was not administered properly so that it was ineffective. The only reason I did not get cheated is because I did research after the treatment and realized that the woman who performed the treatment did not do enough "passes" on the area with enough energy to be effective. I had to educate the manager on the amount of energy and the number of passes required in order for the treatment to have enough energy to be effective. They did offer to redo the treatment, but what if I had not done my homework? I would have been cheated out of $1,100. I also went for a facial there, and the facialist was so rough with my newly pierced ears that she rubbed the earring into my ear lobe. My ear lobe got infected and puffed up in size and was bleeding. I was in such pain in the middle of the night trying to get the earring which was lodged inside my ear lobe out of my ear lobe when the ear was oozing blood and pus and was puffy due to the infection. I did not get an apology for the damage to my ear and the manager told me that I could not get a refund. read more

I has expressed a concern that not one of them could address or assist with as they all provided inconsistent information. I attempted to get this resolved with no luck. No refund ! NO resolution! There is supposed to be a doctor who you never see or can speak too. I had my call escalated to a manager to openly giggled and smirked at my concerns during our meeting. I don't know about their facials but they seem to lack knowledge and comprehension not only that they spoke Chinese and I could never understand what they were saying. My first impression was the size of this spa. I've been to a few spa locations in Irvine but MS Slim by far is the largest. Some people think treatment such as venus freeze doesn't work. I can contest to that because my wife uses this treatment while I go in for a massage. It actually works. Try googling it. Price comparison to a nearby spa is simliar BUT the difference is experienced staff and size of their rooms. My wife and I don't like small rooms. We like to feel comfortable when going to a day spa. A big room is always a plus. I spoke with some of there staff and I noticed that they all live near San Gabriel Valley. Turns out they all work in the Rowland Heights store which has been around for years. If you like big rooms and a staff with experience then I would strongly recommend this place. read more

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful young Asian receptionists run the place. I had 2 issues with this place: 1) They really are only interested in up selling. Each visit was met at some point with "a deal" to complement your treatment. Sometimes it felt like lecturing rather than persuading. 2) The receptionists, while lovely greeters, didn't seem to embrace a consistent level of structure with the equipment. Some had me wear glasses for protection, others didn't. Some really took the time to line up the machine, others didn't. I made it through my series of treatments, but would not go back. read more
