Ms. Tea was so good. The boba tea was perfectly sweet. The bento box was fresh and flavorful. The steak was tender, the fried rice hit, the sushi was clean, and the veggies were crisp. Even the miso soup and salad were solid. Good portions, great quality, and everything tasted made with care. Definitely coming back.

This is by far my fav little sushi spot by ucf. I have come here numerous times with my friends and everytime I bring someone new, they always go back for more! I usually do the dinner combo which is 2 specialty rolls for $22 which comes with a miso soup! My favorite rolls I've had is the oriole roll -- with spicy tuna & avacado on the inside and fresh salmon on the outside. The spice level is about a 2 not anything too spicy. I also love the pink lady roll -- shrimp tempura, crab salad, avacado wrapped in soy paper w eel and spicy mayo. My boyfriend got the fried rice which was also delicious. I'm excited to keep going back to try more rolls!

Food: We ordered the sashimi deluxe, which was visually stunning with its vibrant colors and tasted fresh. We also tried two specialty rolls: the Y2K and the Naruto. The menu is impressively extensive, offering bento boxes, ramen, noodles, lo mein, sushi, sashimi, rice bowls, teriyaki entrees, milk tea, smoothies, among other items. Given the high quality of their sushi and sashimi at a reasonable price, I believe they should focus more on these items to emphasize their expertise in sushi. Initially, I was skeptical about the quality of their sushi and sashimi due to the long menu, but it turned out to be a positive experience. Ambiance: The ambiance is typical of a sushi restaurant in the $15-$30 per person price range. We entered the restaurant right at opening on a Sunday, and the bathroom was clean. :) Service: While we didn't encounter any issues, the server could have been a bit more friendly. ;)

The Rundown: Flavorful menu, with a staff that provides a fantastic eating experience whether taking out or eating in! The Review: Ms Tea's is an area staple - offering filling bento boxes, even sushi, and of course tea options. The staff are always friendly and the team serves up a nice menu variety with fantastic flavors! The top recommend would be the fried chicken - it's popcorn style and packed with taste that you are certain to enjoy. The food is great for takeout, but dining in offers a simple casual experience that will allow you to enjoy their freshly made items and hunger for more when you're done. Definitely worth a visit to order and enjoy!

Updating my review after visiting here a year later: Something changed since the last time I visited... the ambiance isn't there anymore with for some reason no music and the cozy wooden decor with bar seating changed to booths. A slight difference, but I liked the high top tables and bright wood atmosphere. Also, the menu changed, removed items and added... sushi? It's also more Americanized with lo mein, orange chicken and Japanese style items. One thing that bothered me was the physical menu aesthetic change-- it went from cozy and well designed to a typical black and red one you'd find at a chinese takeout place. Not anything wrong with that, just sad to not experience the endearing character of Ms Tea's Bento any longer. Lastly, even though the restaurant was near empty (accounting for takeout and delivery of course), it took a good while to get our food. Overall, this might not be a place I consider a go to as it seems the restaurant has change quite a bit. ):

    Oolong Cheese Float
    Tram B.

I needed food immediately after getting off my flight and this one popped up first. I took it as a sign and drove over for some dinner and it was the correct sign! Oolong Cheese Float - (5/5) Both parts were sweet and I enjoyed the drink. Normally drinks with cheese foam are sweet and salty for the foam with a bitter tea at the bottom, but I like how both were lightly sweet and became even sweeter together. I was able to enjoy the tea separately and with the foam. I might try it with less sugar next time though. It did get too sweet for me near the end. Popcorn Chicken - (3/5) we ordered medium spice but it wasn't that spicy. If you want spicy, maybe order their max level. Medium felt more mild. The chicken was lightly salted and a bit more on the deflated side. Good bite sizes, but it wasn't really crispy at all. Not the best I've had, but it does help satisfy any craving. Pink Lady Roll - (5/5) Beautiful. I honestly haven't seen sushi rolls this cheap in a long time. It was only $10 ish but it was a full box and had so much flavors, even shrimp tempura. If I knew, I would've ordered a few more rolls instead of the popcorn chicken I highly recommend for sushi and boba here. Their menu has a nice variety and the rolls were just amazing and flavorful.

    Popcorn Chicken Rice Bowl! :)
    Matthew O.

This place may be tucked away in the most nondescript plaza, but it provides some really solid food. While the ambiance isn't going to blow you away, the food is a good and more affordable alternative to a place like Bento. I got the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken Rice Bowl and it was a substantial portion, more than I was expecting. The bowl might not look very wide, but it is quite deep. They really fill it well with rice, vegetables, and a mountain of popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is crispy and flavorful, with the use of an excellent spice blend that provides a good balance of heat and savory flavors. The people working here are super friendly, but just know that service can be slow at times. But all in all, this is a place that a lot of people overlook. But it shouldn't be. Get the word out, because this is a solid place to go to :)

    Beef Stew Noodle Soup
    Amber C.

I haven't gone to this restaurant in a long time so it's a lot different from what I remember, but I overall had a pretty good experience. I really enjoyed the unagi (eel) rice bowl! The sushi rice was delicious and the marinade was seasoned just right. 8.5/10 The beef stew noodle soup was a bit more sour than what I'm used to (used to more of a heartier/meatier broth), but it was still pretty good. 7.5/10 Didn't take any pictures of our drinks but the milk tea at 50% sugar wasn't very sweet and I could really taste the milk and tea flavor was strong so 9/10 on that! The food came out pretty quickly and I liked how calming the restaurant felt. Overall, I would rate it about 7/10 as everything felt pretty solid still.

Taste: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 This place is tied for my all-time favorite boba tea spot. Food is also delicious and good portion sizes. Reasonable prices and the staff are all sweeties. All around a really good place to eat. Tip: Get the punch card so you can redeem free teas!

I just finished a volunteer shift at the nearby bowling alley! And I was hungry! So I came in and tried out this place! I ordered beef bowl and lavender milk tea with boba! The beef bowl was so good, it has a fry egg, thin seasoned beef, some cabbage and broccoli and rice with some sauces! The lavender Milk tea with boba are yummy and not super sweet! Cashier and server are super friendly and nice! If you eat in, you do not have to pay until you are done!

    Matcha Cheese Float ($7.25)
    Rebecca L.

Every time I come to Ms. Tea's Bento, it's like a hug welcoming me home. This is the place to feel like you're having a Taiwanese home cooked meal with boba, not a standard American Chinese takeout restaurant, though they do work well with takeout. It's very authentic Taiwanese in a cafe setting which means some Japanese home cooked style meals are available too like curry udon and katsu. My go to meal is the Lu Rou Fan / Braised Pork Belly bowl and a Matcha Cheese Float. I like how the pork belly is cut into smaller bite size pieces which allows the fat and flavor to meld all together with the rice much more. The bowl comes with garlic broccoli, cabbage, and a hard boiled egg too and is served in an actual bowl with metal silverware. The matcha cheese float is one of the best matcha drinks in Orlando with a generous serving of matcha. Overall boba pricing is competitive in Orlando. Other recommendations are the Yoshinoya Beef Bowl. The previous owner was AMAZING and cared about every detail - I was worried that the change in ownership would negatively impact one of my favorite stops, but I am resold on this restaurant. There was a bit of a transition earlier in the year where the quality and quantity dipped, but my most recent visit had the flavors and quantity level back to its best and maybe even more flavorful! I do miss my peeled broccoli (RIP), but it's tender enough where I still enjoy it. If there was a location on the west side of Orlando like Hamlin or even by Enson/Lotte area, I would be here once a week.

    Cecilia B.

I have been going here for years and love the food and Boba. The boba is not the best but is quite good if you're craving it. If it is your first time I would recommend the curry chicken since the portions is huge. You might have to ask for more curry though. Every bento box comes with a side of pickled vegetables that they make everyday and it changes weekly. My favorite item on the menu is the spicy dry beef noodle. There isn't anything like it in town. I always order it when I come and the spice is not too bad. I am sad to say though that the last time I went I did not see the business owner. Someone informed me that she sold the business. I am hoping the service and quality of the food does not change. It is one of the local businesses I love to support.

This is the Volcano SUSHI, one of my favorites.

Only like 3 diners were there when we arrived (it was mid afternoon), so lots of open seating. We were able to sit at the bar. Greeted right way. Will say they have a very extensive menu. Decent selection of sushi & other types of dishes. Our server was pleasant. We started with their daily deal which was Crispy Tuna and edamame as well. Came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The Crispy Tuna was served not as we expected. It was more rice cakes (pancake style shape if you will) not what we are accustomed to which generally is a Square Musubi Press. They were good, but would have preferred them the way we generally order it. Edamame was tasty, but hard to mess that up. Rolls: they are pretty small to be honest and squeezed so tightly (with not enough of outer rice) they sat up high and didn't take on the plump desirable shape. When a sushi roll (maki) is rolled and pressed incorrectly with a bamboo mat, the cylindrical shape gets squished and inevitably turns into a aesthetic effect that looks off, which in my opinion shows here. Plus, very thinly sliced rolls. 4 rolls we ordered: Naruto Roll, it was refreshing & liked the cucumber in place of the seaweed wrap. Beauty & Beast Roll, came together well with the black tobiko & masago. Waterfall Roll was good, but would have liked some more heat (heaver on the jalapeños) and finally the Black Pearl Roll which was decent with the black tobiko on top! Throughout of dining experience the sushi chefs were preparing other dishes on the menu to fill orders, but also pleasant & engaging as we watched them make our orders and those others too. Leo and Micah were friendly, not so much the only female employee. She gave off some negative vibes. Never said a word to us & acted like we were not even there! Believe her role may have been in the kitchen, but she was out on the floor (for most of our time there) talking to Leo primarily. Kitchen cleanliness is key and by looking thru the open space (to the backs of sushi chefs) she really needed to focus more of her attention there instead of projecting conversations out front to the busy staff. Meaning that sanitation and environmental hygiene is a mandatory practice that needs constant attention & customers may observe or question those things when not tending to the task. I'm addressing this in the most important and nicest way possible! Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Not the best sushi restaurant we've been to, but definitely sufficed for our craving. Ended our meal with their fried ice cream which was delicious. Note- Do not believe they have any happy hour specials. No Kizami Wasabi available here. They feature a few lower costs options for lunch. Additionally, they have hibachi, teriyaki and ramen also!

I personally have loved everything I've eaten here. In addition to the great food, Soupa has so much character as a brand. As the name implies, Soupa Saiyan is a spoof on the famous Super Saiyans from Dragon Ball. The shop is covered in anime art and merch - you can have Goku stare you down while you eat! I always enjoy taking a look at the figure and art displays after my meal. Over the years, they have expanded their displays to include merch from One Piece, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and many other anime. This shop also features a beautiful mural of Dragon Ball heroes and villains. The mural also features Knightro, UCFs mascot and fearless knight. I am not sure when it happened, but on my most recent visit, I was sad to see the mural covered up by posters.
