I'm 35 weeks pregnant and the lady cut up my feet pretty bad. I hope I don't get an infection before labor! I have never had my feet get cut before from scouring and trimming cuticles! Very unhappy! They just need to be more careful and I don't get it why people can't be. They shouldn't be going crazy with those clippers or scouring with a nail file! Hello everyone. My name is Linn and I am a manager of another nail salon located in Frisco. As you can see from these malicious comments from other people (who have not even been to M Stella for service), M Stella has been publicly shamed and claimed as "racist," and has been accused of "assaulting" a customer. Let me clear this situation. A young lady visited their salon on a Thursday night and wanted full service. The receptionist discussed in detail the prices for her service, and she replied saying she was okay paying any price. More specifically she said, "whatever" the price is, she can pay. Whenever finishing her full, long, ombré, set, she refused to pay, claiming she was not satisfied. Unfortunately, this happens very often in nail salons. The customers refuse to pay, but they want to leave with their new, full sets. She immediately rushed to leave, without paying a penny, without saying a word of explanation, but the technicians would not let her leave without sorting this out first. Yes, the technician who did her nails physically touched her. But if you look at the CTV footage, she was about to run off without paying!! Imagine doing someone's nails for over an hour and they start to run off!! I would have done the same, just to prevent her from leaving. She was not harmed. They offered her a discount, they offered to cut her nails shorter, and they tried their best to come to a compromise. However, she refused to pay. In the end, she cut her nails short, and left the nail salon without paying a single penny. The aftermath of this situation was the girl telling all of her friends and relatives to publicly shame the nail salon. This has been brutal to the nail salon and has effected them greatly. Even more devastatingly, the manager of the nail salon was willing to communicate with the girl and gave her his personal phone number to sort out this horrific mess. How did the girl respond to this act? She leaked his personal phone number to the public in hopes to publicly shame and harass him! Disrespectful, shameful, and undignified. Furthermore, the manager has received harmful threats... even death threats... terrible. Undignified!! This salon has been shamed for being "racist" and has been accused of "assaulting" this customer. However, this is simply not true! Let me introduce myself again. I am first generation American. My mother and father immigrated from Vietnam to escape communism, escape the Vietnam war, and hoped for a better future for their children. These people are the technicians working in your local nail salons. These people are human, just like you. These people have mouths to feed, just like you. These people struggle, just like you. Accusing them for being racist??? For what reason? Because they didn't let you leave while you didn't pay a damn penny for your full service? Hmm.... I don't think so. That technician wasted 1-2 hours serving that girl and did not receive a single penny for pension! Outrageous. In full perspective, I think these people are trying to bash this nail salon for no reason, and are just trying to prove their point. They are damaging this salon's reputation, for their delight. They are trying to take advantage of their inability to communicate in English properly. I am here to stand up for our communities of nail salons and say it how it is. The moral of the story is... know your place before you claim anything! If you want to see the CTV footage, let me know. I would be more than happy to show you the footage. If you can't pay for your services and a proper tip... then don't get your nails done. PERIOD!! read more

i've been coming to this salon for a while now and I'm never dissapointed! Ella does a great job with my nails, whether I get Gel or Dip nails. She knows what I like, remembers my preferences and will even help me pick nail colors when I'm torn on color. David also does a great job on the pedicure! I just sit back and relax. He also remembers my preferences and will remind me of colors or services I like. If he is not available, Ella's there to take care of my pedicure too. Everyone is always nice and attentive. I bring my relatives when I can and will continue to recommend this salon to anyone! Five star service all the way! read more

I just love this little gem in Lake Highlands. I have been going since their Grand Opening and I have never been disappointed! The staff is so helpful, friendly and professional. The salon is clean and beautiful. I love a good pedicure, so I typically do a top-of-the-line service. The soak, paraffin, hot rock, massage is soooo relaxing! Went yesterday and Peter did a wonderful job. Recommend starting your day next door at Mi Cocina (Tracy at the bar is fabulous!) and then head MStella for a wonderful nail experience. Added bonus they have a drink menu so you have enjoy a free sip while getting your nails done. read more

I came on my birthday and they definitely took care of me!! I got a pedi and dip nails! Jason's did awesome on my nails and the lovely lady that did my pedicure did such a great job tho I didn't get her name! I only give it 4 stars bc they were working on me simultaneously and that made it a little hard to relax but I really appreciate the efficiency !! My daughter got invited by one of her friends to go get her nails done. So I have her my credit card so she could pay if I was not there In time. Whenever I came to pick them up I looked at the check and it was $84.00! all my daughter had gotten were tips and her cuticles cut. But on the check it said the manicure was $55.00, the tips were $5.00, the "special shape" of the nail were $5.00, but my daughter didn't get a "special shape" she got a common shape of and almond. Then the cuticle cutting was $19.00! They were trying to take advantage of a girl who was left alone with her mom's credit card. When I asked the lady at the front desk about it she was trying to explain it and it made absolutely no sense. They were trying to take advantage of a mom giving her child her credit card to go to the nail salon and het her nails do e with a friend. I will ab never be coming back here. I certainly don't recommend this place to get your nails done unless your willing to pay outrageous price. read more

I stumbled across this nail salon and decided to get a quick pedicure. I wish I would have continued driving. They attacked a young girl because she asked questions about the price in nails. she never said that she couldn't pay. they grabbed her forcefully sat her down and cut the nails they just done off. it was unnecessary and I will not be returning. I was scared to ask any questions after in fear they would scrub my polish off. read more

I went in today for a Royal Stella Pedicure($69)with my mom. She was getting gel and I just did regular polish. The guy doing my pedicure spent 45 mins trying to get the old gel off by picking at my toes instead of soaking them and the lady doing my moms pedicure finally stopped what she was doing to come and remove it. He then proceeds to clip my toe nails( I said yes to that) and does absolutely nothing else to my nails. He did not file them, did not do a cuticle clean up, clean under the nail or buff them. He left the nails at an angle from clipping them. He then spent 20-30 mins rubbing a bunch of different oil/lotion into my legs and did a quick paraffin wax. Added polish and called it quits. I would advise you to go anywhere else for a pedicure. That wasn't worth $10 let alone the $69 they charged. I understand learning and being new at something but they should train the staff before putting them to work. It was a waste of an hour and half. I will not be a returning customer. read more
