Small informal place mainly for a light meal, counter seating only. Comfort food inexpensive snack/ meal Staff very friendly (Cantonese speaking), eager to explain their menu as the combos can be confusing Fishball noodle soup came with plenty of spongy fishballs, noodles, vegs (for only $7.50). Well worth the price, only weak point was the soup base as it could have been more flavorful but the price overcame this deficiency A huge portion of rice rolls for only $4.00 ( swear I was back in the streets of Hong Kong again). Springy and firm, delicious with all the accompanied sauces, couldn't finish so brought the rest home. Mango pomelo sago drink only $4, more than enough pomelo, in fact, the pomelo was fresh chunky and crunchy not unlike others where the pomelo is soft with no texture, I swear I would crunch pomelo bits with every mouthful of drink. Price is king here, I don't say that too often but PRICE IS KING HERE! I'm looking to coming back when I'm back in their neighborhood as so many other inexpensive food options (eg curry fishballs) Hey, we're in a recession, gotta stretch my dolla, holla

Tiny little narrow place with limited seating. But not bad food with okay pricing and very courteous service. The ladies there are very nice. We ordered a bowl of fishball noodles, fish siu mai, rice rolls, and two teas and that came to about $25. Not bad. Note that they prefer cash over card. Just a FYI.

At midland and finch, we wanted to try this popular spot we heard about. There was a line out the door when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. It was a very narrow space inside with limited seating. Honestly it felt cramped after ordering, waiting for food and dining in. I noticed a lot of people ended up taking out since there wasn't room to dine in. Anyway, got the fish ball noodles and beef noodles. These were cheap eats! And big bowls of noodles too. I wasn't a massive fan of the noodles itself but the fish balls were tasty and bouncy. I feel like the broth didn't have much flavour so we used their chili oil. Overall it was an average bowl of noodles at low prices. Not a comfortable dining experience though because of how crowded it gets.

Food 4/5 Service 3/5 Vibe 2/5 Super small hong Kong style cart noodle reso inside the midland and finch plaza. Finally giving it a try as people were giving high recommendations online, and i would say it was average. BUT IN THIS ECONOMY, their prices are super super reasonable (which i admire)!! Beef bowl noodles 牛腩河粉 cane with HUGE HUGE HUGE MEAT portions which is a bonus, and the lamb noodle 羊腩濑粉 lamb portions were tender, BUT both noodles were slightly overcook, so it becomes a bit mushy. Also, super thirsty after NGL, so i guess the soup is SUPER MSG based which is quite disappointing... The curry fishball 咖喱鱼蛋 and siumai 鱼肉烧麦 was good 4/5. Overall, i think ill come back for their snacks but not their noodle bowls. #eatwithclaw

Value, value, value! I still can't believe in 2025, I was able to find a soup noodle meal for under $10! MT Fishball is a small little restaurant tucked in the Skycity Shopping Centre, all the way at the end of the parking lot. This cute little shop brings back all Hong Kong staples (fish ball noodles, street style rice noodle rolls, curry fish/beef balls, HK glutinous rice) - all items that Hong Kong lovers will be familiar with. My fianceé and I love coming here for a cheap and quick meal. For $9, you get their Handmade Fish Ball Noodles with Iced Lemon Tea - what a STEAL! The noodles come in a healthy portion, paired with the shop's own fish balls, a couple slices of fish cake, and some lettuce. The handmade fish balls are tender yet do not disintegrate and the thick rice noodles are cooked al-dente. Honestly, no complaints for the value. You can also add other toppings (vegetables, seafood) for an additional cost, but we love the simple fishballs. Their iced lemon tea probably has one of the deepest tea flavours in the HK cafe space. Make sure to add some sugar if you're not used to it! We've also tried their street style rice noodle rolls which comes in a generous portion for $4. For those who haven't tried, this dish comes with a peanut butter sauce and a sweet sauce. Make sure to mix it all together to really experience this simple classic. I kept licking my lips! The restaurant is a little bit on the smaller side, with roughly 10 seats in total alongside the wall. It might be difficult with a larger party, but the wait typically isn't long as turnover is pretty quick. If you decide to dine-in, they don't start cooking your meal until your spot frees up so don't be afraid to just wait it out. We'll definitely be back again to try some other items!

Location/Service This place is located in the busy Skycity Plaza, near the end of the plaza by Lala Bakeshop. Plenty of parking around the block and it's not too busy so you wouldn't have issues. Inside is a bit small though, but it reminds me a lot of what I experience in Asia. It's designed to have a combo of small dine-in seating and also takeout - so there are 2 lines happening at the same time in a way, and you get to see everything that gets done while waiting. Staff were nice and friendly and orders were done quickly. Food Everything menu item here is pretty staple and I loved the fact that it was all under $10. With this economy, this is truly an unbeatable! If you like staple comfort food, then try the Rice Noodles and Fish Balls. If you want a hearty meal, then try the Handmade Fishball Noodles or Braised Beef Noodles. All of them are good and they are truly made in-house - literally you see them doing it. You can also add drinks for $1 as a combo and it was very decent! This place really brings me back to Asia where you come and go for a quick bite and they have long operating hours so it's perfect whether you want it as breakfast or a late night meal.

Food is good for the value. Great cheap eats. Portions are pretty big too. Will definitely come again.

Made a visit a few minutes ago with family. It seemed newly open so wanted to check it out as I am…read morefamiliar with most of the other businesses in the plaza and general area. During my visit, there was only 1 food delivery driver there waiting for an order to be ready. Ordered 4 drinks: x2 Iced Fresh Mango with Coconut Milk x1 Iced Fresh Watermelon with Coconut Milk x1 Iced Fresh Mango with Coconut Milk and Matcha Cheese Foam I ordered the Watermelon for myself, and asked for 50% sugar less ice. I usually order no ice (I like having more drink), but that option wasn't available. I thought it wasn't too sweet, and the watermelon was ripe, so it was refreshing for me. I tried a little bit of the Mango with Matcha Cheese Foam, which was ordered with 100% sugar. Thought that was also really good. Ripe mango flavour with a bit of an artificial aroma; a perfect sweetness. I didn't see any options to add any toppings; I'm not sure if they offer that customization. I think their speciality is fresh fruit juices. They also seem to offer some coffee items, and hot meals and snacks. I think they own the board game cafe right next door too. Interestingly 2 different units. There's only 2 seats inside, no tables. Meant more as a takeout spot. Since they're newly opened, looks like the staff are still learning so they weren't the most confident when taking orders and serving the drinks. That's okay though. :) I'd definitely return and also recommend this spot to others.
