I've been storing my vehicle here for over a year. It's been great for the most part. Great location to boot considering it's proximity to the freeway (as well as my home). My gripe is with a few staff members that have been less than courteous with me. First incident: I rented a pickup and trailer here and as per what was stated in the contract, a trailer hitch should have been provided. They said this was not true. Despite my gut feeling to argue this, I paid the extra fee. No I did not necessarily need a trailer hitch but maybe I'd make use of it in the future. Second incident: Upon entry one day, my keypad code was not working. I backed my car up out of the way, as to not jam up the entrance gate in the event other customers show up. As I begin to call the office, the gate suddenly opens up before me. I think, maybe they recognized my car and are granting me access, wonderful. I drove into the storage lot, get to my space and soon after, a young woman approaches and tells me she must escort me back out and have me enter my code. She was very aggressive and did not let me explain myself. I do believe a warning from her behalf would have sufficed as this was the first time anything of the sort had ever happened to me. It's clear she had little to no customer service skills but ok...my fault, I exit and re-enter. This time my code did in fact work. Third incident: I arrived to the storage lot to retrieve my stored vehicle 5 minutes prior to closing time. I do this all the time, mind you. On this particular day, the same young woman as before was blocking the keypad as well as the entrance with her golf cart. I ask, "What's the deal?". I'm in a time crunch and I cannot afford to have delays. She was so ill-mannered, she went straight to questioning whether I'd make it out in 3 minutes (It was 6:25PM)? She then threatened to charge me $60 if I wasn't able to exit during access hours. I did not appreciate this one bit. She then moved out of the way but did not provide me ample room to position myself with the keypad to enter my passkey. Upon exit, I waited for her to come around to have a simple conversation with her. I expressed how blocking the entry gate and in turn the keypad is not a good choice as customers may be delayed. Not only are you blocking the only entryway, I have to exchange words with you and then wait for you to clear the path. This all takes away from getting in and out in a timely-manner when "time" is of the essence. To add, she did not know if I had 24-hour access or not. In conclusion, she did not want to hear me out as I made suggestions and asked me to file a formal complaint. No worries! Her name is Maria, she is the young, overweight female with black-framed glasses who says she has the role of "storage consultant ". She might be taking her job a little too seriously. I believe she needs a lesson in customer service. With the few interactions I've had with her, I've noticed she has knack for coming across too strongly in situations that do not warrant aggression. read more

Mt. Olive Storage has been great to us! We've had our camper parked there for ~5 years and have never had any issues. Their hours are reasonable, they have water / sewer for RVs. The one negative is the spots are a little small and the aisles are narrow, so it can be tricky navigating an RV and getting it into/out of the spot. Overall we've had a great experience renting a spot there, and I would highly recommend them! read more

As most who have done it before moving is never fun! Especially, when you've lived in your home for over 20 years and your two car garage was used for storage for you and your family instead of cars! I so appreciated Mt Olive self storage and the help of Brittney and the staff there! They were efficient, timely and friendly! The facility grounds are clean and kept and organized. I also had to get a smaller storage last minute a few days later which they were able to accommodate for me. Soon I hope to have time to go through all my things so that I can know what to do with them, and not store them forever, but glad to have Mt Olive storage right there and available when you need them! I highly recommend Mt. Olive Storage. A very clean and secure facility with very nice people. We stored my 99 year-old mom's furniture and personal items there for one year hoping she would regain her strength and go back to assisted living. Unfortunately, she will be staying at the skilled nursing facility permanently and we still we have a unit full of furniture and personal items. Rather than making us rent a truck and clear out the unit, they allowed us to leave the unwanted items inside the unit and Mt. Olive will donate the items to a local charity. read more

Great staff! Very informative and professional staff members and facility all around, needed a space for my dump trailer and found Mt. Olive storage conveniently right off the freeway and at a very good monthly rate. Very secure and safe and you get some extra amenities like air for your tires and a washing station as well. My trailer got hit for the second time at this storage. When we talked to the people who worked there to get information about the person who hit it the workers said that the most they can do is give our information to the guy who hit it and hope that he calls us back right in front of the police officer who was filling out a report for us. She couldn't even give the persons information to irwindale police department because of their "policy". Our trailer awning which was brand new was totally damaged and we have to get a completely new one and they scraped the whole side of it leaving a massive hole on the front side and since it rained recently the insulation on the inside got wet. This storage has zero cameras and are not helpful if anything happens to your vehicle so think twice before using them. For how much you pay for storage you would think that your items would be safe and take action to prevent these type of things from happening. read more

Be alert with this storage , the units there outdoors and all my stuff got dust all over and the worse they got mouses!!! all they do when ash them help keep out the traps and catch every week about 5,6 mouses terribly experience with the manager, keep changing with terrible service!!! read more
