I was referred to Andy Ferguson, and he has been laser focused on getting me to my goals. He's knowledgeable and precise in his approach, and has a wholistic perspective that has been very effective. Trophy is also a very good gym, this location is just the right size, is clean, and has good equipment. The staff are friendly and professional - Greyson, john, Gina, and the entire staff is friendly and warm. When I need help they are responsive. I've been to many gyms/trainers, from Los Angeles Equinox, to San Antonio Golds Gym, and Houston 24 hour fitness, but Trophy has really honed in on what makes a gym great and has fair pricing. Plus, parking is convenient and free.

From day 1 every single person on staff was welcoming and personable. One thing that was abnormal about this gym was the community within the gym. I moved to Dallas knowing no one and found this to be a very social gym. Majority of my friends came from meeting other members and trainers. The classes are motivating, the free recovery sessions are a game changer, the trainers are SUPER knowledgeable, and the amenities of a hot tub, sauna, and steam room are the cherry on top. If you are looking for a gym, look no further. Joining Trophy way the best decision I made next to moving to Dallas.

The program creates workouts that are never the same each day so if you're like me who gets bored with doing the same exact routine every day then this is a workout for you. This location offers classes that start as early as 530am, 630am, 10am, 530pm and 630pm. On Fridays their latest class is at 530pm and Saturdays they only have 930am and 1130am classes with a DJ present to get the people going. Each class is scheduled for 45minutes. They start out the class with the trainers demonstrating each station. But they also have three TVs that will also have someone showing you what to do at the station so you don't have to memorize what each station is. Then, after the demonstration everyone faces the TVs to follow the warm up moves. At this time, trainers will walk around to give you a station number where you will start your workout after you finish warming up. If you don't get sweaty after a F45 workout, you're not challenging yourself enough. And last but not least, as to why I commit to going every day is because of the trainers. I've tried different gyms/ workout classes but the dedication and motivation that the trainers bring to class every day is inspirational. So whether you're an athlete or someone going to the gym for the very first time, they make you feel comfortable and are truly engaging throughout the classes. They will even do it with you! If you're in the Victory Park/Uptown location, it doesn't hurt to try F45. They offer a free 7 day trial so you can get a taste of what it's like.

I got to try some things I'd only ever seen on Youtube, like battling ropes and pushing tires around. The key is that I don't think I'd have the mentality to push myself in this way on my own without the proper, attentive coaching. I was really sore afterwards in the good kind of way, and I'd really like to be back! If you go, bring some friends so you can be sore together. This place was a little difficult to find, but not because it wasn't visible--it was just a little non-descript, so we drove right past it at first. Don't be fooled by the small appearance of the building because there's lots of equipment for all sorts of training needs inside!

You work at your own pace in both classes and they have a set workout for the day. I've taken both classes and love both of them. The 30 minute class is super effective if you're short on time but still want to get in a killer workout. I've only worked with Nick and he's super awesome. He explains everything before you start the workout and if you have questions during, he's willing to show you and coach on proper form. I appreciated that when I arrived, I mentioned it was my first time in the gym and offered a very short, quick tour (less than ~3 minutes, which I very much appreciate as a lot of gyms spend too long with the tour and try hard to sell the place before you've even tried the equipment). The gym is solid with diversity in selection of equipment. I saw four power racks which is impressive for a gym of this size in the Uptown Dallas area (for reference, LA Fitness in Uptown is at least 5x the size and only has two racks), but only saw one bench with a rack for bench press. The person who toured me also mentioned it's do whatever you like, so I assume they are flexible in what you use and how. Only thing to note/consider is the gym is fairly small. Although it's well set up and has good equipment, I went at 1pm on a Friday and all four racks were utilized so would be concerned going at prime times. Overall it was a good experience, I'll be looking forward to returning when need another gym or want the specialized equipment.

barre3 -- Dallas, TX…read more barre3 was the first barre class I ever tried, and it completely changed how I view fitness. I originally found it through ClassPass, and now I find myself rebooking over and over again -- it's truly become one of the biggest reasons I fell back in love with working out. What I love most is how fun and uplifting every class feels. It's this perfect mix of cardio, strength training, and balance work, but somehow it feels more like a dance party than a workout. The music, the energy, and the lighting all create a space that pushes you while still being gentle and encouraging. The instructors are so friendly and supportive, and even the owner teaches classes, which really says a lot about the culture here. You can tell they genuinely care about their community -- they remember your name, cheer you on, and make you feel comfortable no matter your fitness level. Every time I leave, I feel stronger, more confident, and more connected -- both to myself and to the people around me. It's rare to find a studio that combines great workouts, amazing instructors, and a true sense of belonging, but barre3 does exactly that. It's no surprise they're opening more locations -- once you try one class, you'll understand why!
