By accident I found this gem when my wife wanted Vietnamese soup next door. Ordered a Chile Relleno and Cheese Enchilada. The Relleno came with not one but two chiles! However I ordered the magoneada after reading some hyped up reviews on yelp and expected an authentic mangoneada, however what I got wasnt even close:/ The mangoneada tasted like some mango puree blended up with ice and topped off with the good stuff. I was expecting more of the water based mango ice cream type of taste, but like i said his just tasted like mango puree. My bf loves their special drink mix (the latest one was wrong order, bcuz the lady who made the drink for him last time doesn't work). They have tacos on friday and saturday. I love their taco a lot but i don't know what it called so i can order at somewhere else when they r not opened. It is soft taco, with shredded, juicy, and tender beef stew. After keep asking them to sell the soup (lol), finally the owner agree to sell the soup for $6 small size, and $12 big size. I didn't expect the soup would come with tortilla, radish, chillis, etc all side dishes, they put it in the seperated plate togo. The beans are really tasty and they give you a good serving portion on tostada shell. I also got a vegetarian torta which wasn't bad but not so great either. The main reason I wanted to come here was for a raspado, and I was also let down by it. I was expecting real fruit or something rather fresh considering this is after all a fruteria as well. Instead I got a cup of ice with mango syrup in it. The syrup wasn't even that good to top it off. Why I gave this place two stars was also because there was a definite fly problem inside. I read the reviews and it had many positive reviews regarding the tacos so I'm not sure if I just went on a day when they ran out of meat and chicken? Or if that's the way they serve their tacos. The tacos are tasty however I would've been able to count the pieces of chicken they gave me. I've never had thinner tacos in my life. No wonder why they are only a $1.
