I ducked in Muchacho for an early business lunch recently, and it's great to now have a Midtown outpost of the longtime Reynoldstown favorite. It's located on 14th Street just before Northside Drive, so it's outside the core traffic mayhem of West Midtown. Inside the vibe is, how to say, maximalist '70s surf shack? Whatever you call it, it's really cool. The staff was all really friendly and with my limited lunch hour I appreciated the prompt service. They have a long bar and a generous amount of outdoor patio space, so I'll definitely be back to enjoy al fresco tacos when fall arrives. For my lunch order I went with one fish and one breakfast taco and both were excellent; my side of rice was also good if not overly memorable. Midtown is a bit saturated with tapas and taco places right now, but as a casual standout Muchacho is a welcomed addition to this part of town.

Pretty good Tex mex style spot. The vibe and interior design was on point. The service was nice and the food over all was good. I did in fact got lit with my girls and it was a great time.

Popped in one Monday afternoon--they have $6 margs all day, btw! It was pretty early so parking was a cinch. The bartender was cool and even gave me an extra glass of water when I mentioned I was heading back to work haha (I work from home, so there's no drinking on the job!) My baja fish taco was good. I couldn't decide between the queso or guac so I got the trio. Yum! This isn't too far from me, so I'll be a regular for sure!

I tried this new location since I love the OG, and I was impressed with the size of it! It still has the classic retro Muchacho vibe, and the workers here are super sweet! Also, the bartenders accidentally made extra drinks and offered them to our friends, which was awesome! I ordered an Al Pastor taco and I tried a bite of their Birria Verde Quesadilla. The taco was well made with the meat being perfectly cooked and all of the ingredients balanced each other out. I was disappointed with the quesadilla, however, since I'm obsessed with the one made in the OG location--the meat was really dry, making it hard to swallow and the console wasn't as seasoned as it should be. Hopefully, they're just working out the kinks at this new location since that dish is typically a hit.

A really cool retro vibe Mexican restaurant in a good part of ATL! We were looking to go somewhere for lunch, and when we saw the sign for this place, we immediately pulled in. The name, Muchacho, and the colors of the sign caught our eye immediately. When you walk in, you order at the counter. The menu is somewhat limited and offers taco, burritos, salads and bowls. To me, the prices were a little high, but the decor in the restaurant and the ambiance seemed to make up for it. I got the chicken burrito which was supposed to come with fries. However, they were out of fries, so I got the cilantro lime rice inside. After we ordered, they gave us a number and told us our food would be brought to us. Because it was a beautiful day, we sat outside. My brother got a cocktail, a spicy on the rocks margarita type, and it was too spicy for me. Our food came out not too long after we sat, and it was really good! My burrito was perfect to eat and I got all of the flavors in one bite. It was nice and warm, so I could tell they just made it! The cilantro like rice was also good! The decor was on point. Very retro and modern with an airy vibe from all the windows and doors that were open. There were also two patios, which was really great with the weather.

Came here for muchacho fest. We were early so it was really chill but it was nice to get a few drinks before the 404 day crowds began. The staff was really nice and the location was really walkable. Looking forward to coming back.

The new Muchacho is awesome. I absolutely love this spot. It's super similar to the other location, just a new layout. Everyone that works there is SO friendly!! I think it's a great place to work or grab a bite with a friend. They also have great tacos and margaritas if you wanna go for a late night bite! I bet this will be a big hit for GT kids! Parking: Very small lot! There's probably some street parking around if needed.

I am so sorry they finally opened up this location closer to Georgia Tech. The original location is amazing and I am excited to have this option closer to Midtown. We came on a Saturday night and we're easily got a big table for our big party. The staff was super nice and made sure to check up on us. I got a Carne Asada burrito some fries and some chips to share with a friend and everything was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I look forward to coming back and trying their coffee vibes are great. We sat inside, but look forward to trying their patio and sitting here during the summertime.

There probably isn't a bar in the city that offers as breathtaking of a view as does Moonlight. The panorama of all three of Atlanta's skyscraper centers is clearly visible, along with the historical architecture of Ponce City Market. The crowd is mix of tourists and locals in their 20s and 30s. The cocktails are solid. Food is decent, nothing to rave about, but again, hopefully nobody is here for the food. The lobster roll was very bread heavy and the useless dab of caviar was just a wasteful decoration. Yet, the atmosphere of the place, situated in the beautiful Forth hotel makes Moonlight an incredible spot for drinks.

Please do not expect a full dinner but there are great options to keep the night going. I was kinda sad that both myself and my friend were celebrating our birthday but because we were the same table, we could only get one glass of champagne. It does get crowded and I really suggest making a reservation. I made one and even still it took ages to get a table. A reservation doesn't promise a table right away but keeps you in an active queue. I can't wait to go back again.

Rather than just finding out, he went ahead and made it and brought it out with the group's drinks. When I saw how good it looked, I decided to order one too. The presentation of the drink was very nice and it had a good creamy flavor to it. This drink was a nice way to wind down the evening. As someone from TX, I did think the drinks were a bit on the pricey side but it's not surprising with it being the ritz. I liked that the bar had a fun yet casual ambiance and there were plenty of people around. We did ask what time last call was and were told midnight so we didn't hurry to order a second drink. Unfortunately, when we ordered another at 10:40... we were told they had closed which was frustrating.

I'm not a beer drinker, but it looked like they have a variety of beverages in addition to a couple of meal choices. We entered, and everyone was so friendly. After placing our orders, we received a text that let us know to go nearby to the food truck to pick them up. The double burgers were tasty and the fries delicious. Our slushie drinks were exceptional. We enjoyed our meal before walking over to the game. As the ballgame ended, there was a notification that there was a severe thunderstorm and we should shelter in place by staying in the stadium. Since we had a bit of a drive home, we decided to get ahead of the weather and traffic and leave early. Well, we had only walked one block when the bottom fell out. We were drenched. We decided to run back into Wild Leap before we got our car next door. As we got to the front door, a young man (Manager? Shift manager?) whom we had seen working there earlier opened the door and welcomed us in. He immediately grabbed hand towels that were clean and dry for us to wipe off with and offered any assistance he could give us. We went to the restroom and tried to clean up a little, then came back out, handed over the towels and walked outside. It was still pouring out. The same man then insisted on running to his car to get his personal umbrella for us. He returned with the umbrella. My daughter used it as she got our car, then returned it to him. We were so impressed with Wild Leap for many reasons: the food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was superb. Thank you, Wild Leap, for playing an integral role in giving us a wonderful day in Atlanta!

They hold a jazz night every Tuesday with live music for a nice chill, yet fun, vibe. Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all!
