We came in while walking through Big Bear village and hearing the live music. The restaurant was a great place to go and chill after a day of boarding. We enjoyed their large margaritas but were disappointed that we were not able to get the flight. For food we got the Taco de Papa, carne asada taco, & Al pastor taco. We stopped in for lunch before heading down the mountain. We discovered their menu had changed since Memorial Day and so we weren't able to get the Nachos we originally came here for but they had some other small plates that sounded good. We settled on sharing a few things so we could try more items. We got their Carne Asada fries, taquitos, and ceviche. The taquitos were homemade and fresh. Only comes with 3 but the flavor is great. Topper with Guacamole, cotija cheese, and Cilantro. The ceviche is refreshing. Strong citrus taste which is good and definitely not overly tomatoe-y like some places. Nice balance of heat and flavor. The Carne asada were pretty good too. The fries had a good crunch and flavor to them. The Carne asada was tender and topped with some of their complimentary salsa tasted just amazing. This is the place that I needed all day. The servers are professional and welcoming once your presence is made known at this bar and restaurant. The noise levels inside the restaurant can get quite loud depending on the crowd. There is streetside and outside dining available, as well as inside booths and high tables. I ordered the carne asada fries and they were flavorful from the first bite, they were well-dressed and even had beans inside which is a plus for me. The steak was not chewy or overcooked, the main thing I can not stress enough is that this place has flavor! I also ordered a pacifico on tap, the beer was fresh and fully carbonated it was not one flat spot in that beer. I will always be returning to muchachos because today was the day where I needed great customer service and they dominated it. There's no podium at the front entrance so walk on in and make your presence known so you don't feel some type of way for waiting in the front. Visited this place with my family on a recent big bear trip we took. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and seated right away. The owner , Tyler was super friendly and very much attentive. Besides offering us refrehments and taking our order , he didnt fail to check up on us several times while we enjoyed our breakfast. Our dog Luke wasnt an exception to Tylers kindness. As much as I hate to say it because I'm a taco lover myself, but I think the tacos I had here were the worst ever. I ordered carne asada tacos, and the meat was just too dry and unflavored. My friend also ordered fish and chicken tacos, and said the same thing. However, I gave them 3 stars because the service and the bloody Mary's my friend got was good. Everything is Overpriced, drinks are watered down and food is not good at all. Bartender told customers "there's the door if you don't like it." Horrible attitude by the bartender with the beard didn't get his name. The owner (most likely daddy) had to comp everything for the customers. We waited maybe a little under an hour till someone left and we sat ourselves, I believe it's first come first serve, so if you see a table you grab it.
