We went through the drive-through and saw the prices, everything was a bit high, but we decided to order our food anyways. When we got to the window to pay, we noticed that everything that we purchased was a different price compared to what was advertised at the drive-through menu. We brought it to their attention and even showed them proof with pictures and all they said was sorry. They refuse to pay us the difference and said that their price is updated in their system. I was headed to another place but saw Villa Flores Tacos was closer to me so decided to try them. Wish I would have never stopped. I ordered 3 Carnitas burritos with just meat. I was kinda shocked when the price was over $50 for just 3 burritos and it got worse. Not only did the burritos have a lot of skin in them that was slimy but there was a huge chunk of bone in one of the burritos. I will not be going back to this. Went through the drive-through noticed that the menu was written in black marker. Place an order and when we got to the window to pay for everything, it was a different price on every item we purchased. After explaining to the cashier about the price discrepancy, they said the price is what shown on their system. We politely explain to them the price difference outside on the drive-through menu and even showed them pictures but all they said was sorry and refused to pay us the difference. Beware the place is very deceitful in pricing as they frequently change their prices on all their menu items. Rude service and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I don't know why it has the score it does. This place is AWESOME! I got the tripas, lengua and carne asada tacos. It is a little pricey but they STACK the meat. They were very nice and i ordered to go. I asked them to put salsa on the side... they gave me a ton if salsa and limes. The place was empty when I went. As for people that said it was "bland" i don't know about that. I love to throw some salt on top anywhere I go. Anyone whose had great street tacos know to hit it with the iodized salt! They changed the name & upped the prices but it is better than what they had before... the speaker on the drive thru was broken so it took forever & they were super unorganized but I understand because of the rain & power outages recently. The fish tacos at Villa Flores Tacos are my favorite on the mountain! The fish pieces are huge, and the flavor/sauces are so flavorful with just the right amount of kick! This place was 909 Tacos and that was the absolute best place in big bear for Mexican food. Now new owner and they changed many things about this place from getting cheap low quality meat to having bad salsa. The green salsa now looks like guacamole,, to cooking with tons of grease and fat, the seasoning on the meat is horrible. Then on other meat like carnitas there's absolutely no flavor.
