This place has it all, but we stopped by for brunch. They do have a huge lunch menu, though, if that's what you're looking for. There was a bit of a wait outside, but we probably only waited about 20 minutes. Once seated, we ordered chorizo burrito but plate style, waffle churro style, and onion rings. Everything we had was delicious! The churro waffle was delicious, didn't even need syrup. The chorizo burrito was the perfect savory dish to pair with the waffle. And the onion rings were cooked perfectly. No frills restaurant, service is quick and staff is really friendly. Seemed to have plenty of street parking, but not sure if we just got lucky. If you're a waffle person... this place is dangerous. The waffle selection is actually crazy--in the best way. I tried the green matcha waffles and they did not disappoint. Very disappointed with this restaurant and the way the owner handled the situation. I was a returning customer and spoke very highly of this place however I will no longer be returning. I placed an order and found a very long hair in my meal. I reached out to receive a refund for what I believe is reasonable. If a meal is not consumed due to unsanitary reasons a full refund should be provided. I was offered a complimentary however I advised the owner I am not satisfied with a complimentary meal considering the unsanitary meal that was already received. To top it off I am pregnant which has made me incredibly cautious about food safety. I advised the owner I no longer felt comfortable returning for a complimentary meal if I can just receive my refund for the food that was not consumed. I was given the option to drive back to the location 30+ minutes to receive a refund if I take the unsanitary food back in the box. This was 3 hours after I had notified the owner of the situation. The unsanitary food was in the dumpster by then. Considering the drive and gas prices it was not reasonable that the owner expected me to jump into the trash to get the box of unsanitary food and drive back to the restaurant for the refund. Instead of the owner excepting a mistake occurred and doing the correct thing he refused. I hope this review helps all customers to be aware that if a hair is found in their meal there will be NO REFUND. read more

Great experience today meeting with friends for brunch! For reference, we went on a Saturday at 11am and there was no wait for a table of 4! I was very surprised because it was a nice day outside and one would expect it to be crowded. There was also tons of parking around (both metered and street). I would rate it a generally above average for a chicken and waffles focused brunch spot with solid coffee with one huge caveat that I have noticed in general around the Toluca Lake/San Fernando Valley neighborhood - Chicken and Waffles is the breast fillet only! I was super sad to get fried breast fillets when I saw others get a platter of fried chicken wings with leg meat on it too. It is a separate option here and it was labeled Wings and Waffles.
