The guy was alone, but it took so long to get my English muffin and when it came, it was cold. It was supposed to have locks and capers. I think there were maybe two capers on the entire English muffin. The seating inside is kind of weird. It's a little depressing inside there. There's graffiti on the walls. I really like this place! But too expensive for what it is! If you buy two sandwiches and a muffin, your total will be well above $20. One breakfast sandwich is just enough to prevent you from going hungry, but not enough to really fill you up. I recommend getting your breakfast sandwich with a hash brown inside! Their muffins, however, are definitely not homemade. They are definitely bought from the grocery store, perhaps even from Ralph's, and they are not fresh. To have the name muffin in your restaurant title, I would expect the muffins to be really good, but they are not! I have been at the Glendale location a few times over the years but at time coming here. It's spacious and has a great ambiance. Customer service is good, their cold brew coffee was amazing. I ordered the classic sandwich with bacon and added a hash brown . If you are really hungry you won't be satisfied. You will need to order another one. The sauce that comes with it is delicious. I was super excited to try this place out. I will say the name is what drew me in... and the fact that they had vegan sausage for me to eat too! I tried the sausage redemption and added an impossible patty. It comes with egg, aioli, cheese, and the toasted english muffin. They also gave me a chipotle sauce on the side with cholula. They offer complimentary cucumber water inside (self serve). My mom ordered the same sandwich but not vegan sausage. The only con is that usually, when I order something vegan and something not vegan of the same kind, I like to know which is which! It's a small detail but makes it less stressful to know which one was vegan. I had to ask my mom (who is good at differentiating the taste/texture of real meat vs vegan) try both sandwiches. Again, I understand it's a small detail but it makes me feel more confident about my meal being fully vegetarian. I also wasn't a huge fan of the aioli, but everything else was delicious! Even if your jam is simply a peanut butter and jelly version.(exceptionally good with added bacon.) muffin Can Stop Us will fill that desire that I found no other place can compare. I started at the Glendale location, continued at the downtown LA version and stopped by the Studio city location to check out the live. DJ set premiered a couple weeks ago. Service is always friendly and helpful here, and they really know their menu exceptionally well so let them know of any allergies, preferences, or what have you and they'll guide you to the appropriate selection on their quite varied menu. If for some reason you're going low-carb, consider any of the sandwiches served as a bowl and you'll get a bed of fresh spinach and micro greens instead of the muffin. But frankly the muffins are really great, so try not to skip them. read more

I guess the first annoyance is parking! Parking really sucks over there and we had to park across the street. There was really not a safe close walkway which was annoying as well. When we got there, I really needed to use the restroom and they have no bathrooms!! Ugh! So as you can see, I'm already unhappy before I even tried their food. We ordered our food and we notice that there's only seating outdoors and no seating indoors. Which was fine except the fact that it was cold out. So now I'm cold and still gotta go pee. My annoyance continued to grow. So our food is ready. I got a sausage and egg muffin and Hubby got one. We also got lemonade. The muffin and lemonade was mediocre. It came with a hash brown that was super mushy. There was nothing exciting about it at all. I honestly would rather just go to McDonald's. I went with my boyfriend, we each ordered a Mother Muffin Salmon with egg sandwich and a coffee each. It was a 24 minute wait and they forgot a coffee. They were kind of rude when we asked about the 2nd coffee. It took them another 20 minutes before we got that 2nd coffee which I think was pretty unreasonable. The sandwich was very good, my coffee not so much. I ordered a rosebud coffee, it looked nothing like the picture and just tasted like a regular coffee with no flavoring. It didnt come with the whipped cream, pistachio powder or the little bits of rose on top like the picture showed which was disappointing. Also parking is pretty tough in there. The muffins are very filling and you can't beat the price. The freshness of their vegetables are worth it. I am disappointed that I've ordered sandwiches with eggs whites and they haven't delivered, it's easy to remove it from my sandwich, but the fact that my big draw to them was the egg white option and they didn't deliver was disappointing.
