Wanted to give this place a 2nd chance but must say I'm still very disappointed at their service. Even when they are not busy it still takes 30-40 min for food or coffee to be ready, I have no idea why. This location has an inside place but for some reason they are still talking orders from a window via a microphone, I find that very strange. Absolute Flop! I came here because I love puns and muffins and naturally thought there was no way I could lose by stopping by... wrong! The first thing I learned was that this is an English Muffin business NOT a sweet + dense Blueberry Muffin type establishment. This part isn't really anybody's fault but it did position the start of my experience on a disappointing foot. After ordering 3 muffins and 2 drinks, I waited about 45 minutes but luckily I was in good company and was optimistic about a worthwhile munch. When my order was called, I was delighted to discover that both the drinks I ordered and two of the muffins were wrong. I begrudgingly returned the order to the server to inform them of the mistake and began eating the 1 out of the 5 items that were correct in my order while I waited another 30 mins. When I opened my muffin I found that there was only a dollop of spread in the center of the muffin which indicated to me an absolute lack of care. I showed the server the humble inside of my muffin and they quickly took back the item to make it over again which I appreciated. I then received my final order which again had 2 items that were wrong and at which point I called it quits and went to get brunch somewhere else. Overall, I am willing to accept that this was just a bad day for everyone, but my experience at Muffin Can Stop Us was so disappointing that I don't feel compelled to ever return for a redemption meal. read more

I go here for a couple things: the Sujoo, the Americano, and the Zaatar sandwiches. They never disappoint for breakfast! The coffee and desserts on the other hand, they are not my favorite! The few times we've ordered coffee it's been really bad! Tasted like I was drinking sugar! And when I provided this feedback to them, their response was "maybe you shouldn't order this particular item" instead of asking me if they can remake the drink with less sweetener. Not only do they over sweeten the drinks and the cold brew was super watered down and overpriced the few times we've ordered it. This is a great place for muffin breakfast sandwiches, but not the best coffee. The desserts were also lacking. We ordered a banana muffin and the flavors were just not right! It had a weird maple glaze on top and a cupcake garnish of an egg it didn't satisfy my muffin cravings and wasn't quite a cupcake either. Aside from that, they have great service and our orders are always on time and warm and fluffy and perfect! They've truly perfected the muffin game! read more

I had been looking forward to trying this place for a while and had been telling friends that we should go....so glad i went solo because boy was it disappointing!! I ordered the no mames, the madame muff, and two hash browns online. The expected pick up time was only 5 minutes from the time I placed the order. When I arrived for pick up ten minutes later, the guy told me it would still be a few minutes. I noticed a couple other people waiting and getting very antsy. Turns out, the no mames vegan patties had run out and they were supposedly making them fresh. They were selective about which customers they told this to...I overheard them telling the guy that arrived ten minutes after me. After 30 minutes of waiting (40 minutes after having placed the order), I asked when it would be ready and the guy said he couldn't give me a definitive time so I asked to cancel the order. The order window guy was much more communicative and apologized for the wait and also refunded me the money for the order but still gave me the order since it was ready right then. I was expecting hot breakfast sandwiches at this point since they were being made "fresh". Not only did they forget one of the hash browns, the other one was cold & limp and so were both sandwiches (cheese not even close to melted). I really don't understand all the great reviews because my experience was so terrible. Say what you will about McDonalds but their breakfast sandwiches and hash browns always come out hot and on time. I will gladly give them my money over Muffin Can Stop Us any day. My husband said it best that they can go muff themselves. read more

came here on my lunch break and was very disappointed. the staff was very nice but they needed more help. i ordered a muffin a hash brown and an iced coffee and it took almost 30 minutes. i got a blueberry muffin and it had about 3 blueberries in it and it wasn't warm, the hash brown was cold and my iced coffee tasted very watered down. as good as their drinks sound, i wouldn't recommend them. while i waited i saw about 5 people picking up orders from them and there were people eating at the restaurant so maybe i ordered the wrong thing ? but idk you would think muffins and coffee are their specialty. i don't think i'll be back. read more

This is such a cute little spot. My girlfriend and I wanted to try something fun for breakfast. All the employees are friendly and helpful. Diego brought out our food and his service was really sweet. The horchata coffee was great and the breakfast sandwiches we got were so tasty. Muffin's gonna change my mind when I tell you this place is NOT good. From the customer service, to the amount of time I waited for my food(2 others were there at the time), to the food itself, I would seriously give this a 3 out of 10. The muffin's are cold, not so fresh, the hash browns are half cooked(waited 15min extra for them to make "fresh ones"), and the ice coffee sucked. Been here about three times now and have had an average wait time of 45 minutes to and hour to get my food which is somehow cold every time. This place is right by my house so I really wanted to like it and give it a second chance but when a walk up window takes longer than a sit down restraint meal there's no point. Don't bother ordering online either. I did so and when I arrived at the time my order was suppose to be finished, I had to wait 45 extra minutes. Not sure how my online order took a total of an hour and 15 minutes when all they serve is toasted English muffins with an egg on them. read more

Amazing! Ordered through grub hub, got a hot horchata latte and the American muffin with an extra well done egg. I was expecting an average sandwich but it was so much more than that, every bite is perfection. Definitely recommend. Only downside is that my coffee cup was only filled up halfway. read more

Just tried this place for the first time and it was great! We tried the Americano which is their bacon egg and cheese muffin and it was super yummy simple yet classic, and the lemon blueberry muffin with lemon curd also really good. I would be happy to leave a positive review on their food alone but what really put them over the top in my book was their customer service. There was a mix up with the ordering. I ordered from their Glendale location on accident and they were super helpful and made it right. They took my order there and food came out super fast. I really appreciate when businesses go out of their way to make sure you have a positive experience and that's exactly what they did. I was looking for a breakfast spot on DoorDash and was tired of the same places I order from, I came across this restaurant and read some reviews and decided to take a chance. Turns out to be the so dam delicious. Got the Americano Muffin with extra egg, the egg was honestly the best, gooey, but not to gooey nor over cooked. Got a hash brown on the side it was good they added some seasoning which kinda made it. I also ordered Horchata coffee iced with 2% milk and extra sweet, it was so next level I wish they sold large sizes. Lastly I wanted something sweet so I went for the Banana Nut Chocolate Sea Salt and I was not disappointed. If the food taste good through delivery I can't imagine eating there. AMAZING! I drove by this place and decided to give it a try! I was not expecting this place to blow me away with how good everything was! The cashier was very friendly and helped me order some deliciousness. I got an Americano muffin (added a hash brown!), a Sujoo muffin (added avocado), and an iced Cubano coffee.
