Disappointed again! Manager himself made our burgers because the first time our request for "Medium" came out "Very well done". Well done again! Never came back to check on our order. Waitress, Macey, was very sweet and dismayed that they can't make a burger to order. If they continue this way, they'll be in trouble. My wife and I also didn't feel well later. Sorry, won't be back. I wish I could give this 0 stars. My review is not just about this location, but the restaurant as a whole, if the policy is the same everywhere. First, the burger is not that good and has an odd microwave sausage flavor with way too much bun. Second, I ordered the cha cha chips with rotel and it came out with a very small amount of rotel and a huge order of chips. I finished the rotel and still had 70% of my chips left. I asked the waitress for some extra rotel and she told me that I would have to order a full order of chips and rotel at Full Price (all I needed was a little extra rotel). Great place to get a bite to eat. First of all the drinks are Huge and there are free refills if needed, with the almost 1\2 gallon glasses you may not need a refill. The hostess are always friendly and super helpful and hold the door open for coming and going guest. The menu is average size with a great selection of Hamburgers. I have eaten at several mugshots and never get the same burger twice, the burgers with fries are more than enough food for the average person. The appetizer selection is also great I always get the fried mushrooms and have never had a bad order like at other places. The place is super clean, the staff is helpful and they truly want you to have a great time and food experience. There are enough televisions that from any seat you can watch multiple screens during your dining/drinking session. I LOVE MUGSHOTS IN COVINGTON. This is a great restaurant and it is consistent all over the south. When I am near a mugshots i don't want to eat anywhere else. Consistency is the most important part about a restaurant with multiple locations and mugshots has it. read more

The buns are good but will tear up your stomach. Pepper jack cheese wedges are really good and are a unique menu item. The decor is cool and the company donates to charity frequently. The food is ok-mostly geared toward college aged people and younger. The service however, is terrible which is the reason for 2 stars. The food takes a long time, it takes a long time to be greeted by a server, and it takes a long time to get drinks (if you are sitting at a table, not the bar). Went for the first time last week. Staff not trained at all in guest service! Girl spilled a tray if drinks, NEVER apologized to the lady that was splashed with three drinks. Never offered a towel to wipe the drink up. Just. went about cleaning up the floor. No one seemed to care. More training a needed if this place wants to stay open. Food just ok. read more

We were surprised that our burgers were cooked well, service was prompt, fried were seasoned perfectly, and great tv and bar. We visited here when it firs opened and it wasn't impressive. At the very moment you bite into the Mugshots burger (possibly a McDonald) you know you're at home. The savory sour dough bun and the bacon cooked to a crisp tell you they care. Went here for the first time this past weekend and my husband and I were extremely disappointed. We started off with the fried pickles..they were good, can't really need those up too much.. my daughter ordered the fried boneless buffalo wings which she stated were ok.. my husband got the patty melt and I got the McDonald... honestly, we would have enjoyed it more had we gone to McDonald's. The burgers were so dry.. it was like eating a hockey puck. How this place was rated one of the best burgers on the Northshore is beyond me. I took 2 bites of my hamburger and threw the rest away, as did my husband. NEVER had a less than an excellent burger here- ever! Mugshots is a great bang for your buck when looking for an awesome burger. The Bloody Mary is great too- I even had one last night WITHOUT alcohol (pregnant) and it was incredible- so good I almost cried! (Don't mess with a pregnant lady's cravings.) We come here at least once a month. I think my favorite burger is the 1,000 Island but there are so many excellent burger variations. Even the fries are great- beer battered- which is awesome because there's nothing worse than a good burger paired with subpar (McDonald's style) fries. Just ok. Service was good, but there was some initial confusion about who would be waiting on our table. I ordered the club sandwich and it was.....meh. I wouldn't order it again. My husband ordered a burger and said it was good. My toddler son ate a grilled cheese, but the fries were too spicy for him. Something just felt off about the whole experience. This place has vast selection of unique hamburgers and skill of then are delicious. I walked up to the bar on a packed night and ordered from the bartender and with it packed I received my order in a prompted manner and it was made exactly how I ordered it. I love this pace. read more

It was mediocre not bad service was ok. I got the Cajun pasta I will say it fills a void that's about it. Nothing about this is Cajun. It has "Tony chacheries Cajun seasoning" on it. I am sorry but I can put that on anything and call it Cajun. Also the queso is very thin. As for dessert we did not get that far. Might be back but will not be my first choice by far. read more

I had the middle burger that was prepared very well. The burger was juicy and very good. My server (Melanie) was on point. Never let me want for anything, napkins, silver ware and my glass was always full. She is all about service and that's something so many people that work in the service industry have lack of. Okay. So, where should I begin? My husband and I visited this location back in 2015 when I was pregnant with our now 2 year old. It was terrible. About a month ago or so now I recieved a message from the Manager Sean. His message took me by surprise because let's face it 2 years has done gone by now. Well, his message seemed very sincere and apologetic for us having to experience such terrible service and food(if we give them another chance our meal would be on the house). I responded to him letting him know that my family and I would be coming this weekend and I would let him know when. Anyways.....We arrived at around 6:30pm on Friday September 14th, 2018. The hostess greeted us as they should always. Then they had us wait briefly while they got a table ready for us. Once seated I asked for the Manager Sean as in his email he sent me told me to do so. A nice waitress(i assume that's what she was) over heard us asking for him and I assume she knew that he was expecting us. She informed us that he was busy in the back and would get to us afterwards. It took about 15 minutes for us to get our drinks. Then another 15 minuntes to get our appetizer(Mombo combo/fried pickles,chips and salsa, and eggrolls )-nothing that should take that long. Our entree finally came out at 7:16pm. We ordered a childs shrimp basket, childs hamburger, cheeseburger(I ordered onion rings instead of fries-)didnt recieve that though even when they brought it out wrong I told the waitress and she said she would go get them but NEVER did I get them), and 1000 Island burger. I had to ask another waitress for a refill. Because my cup just sat there. Our waitress refilled my husbands twice and then when she noticed someone else had my cup that's when she asked. Guest should never and I mean ever have to ask for a refill especially ask another waitress. You watch their cup and keep it filled up. As my husband and I observed the entire restraunt we noticed other guest appeared to be unhappy as they were still waiting on their meal because they were there before us. We also noticed that they had seated other guests and the ticket from the previous guests was still on the table. As we waited and waited for them to bring them Manager Sean....we were then informed that he was "too busy" in the back(so not cool- get the kitchen staff together and cross train some of those girls you had just pacing around). Our waitress then brought us our ticket...total was around $48 & some cents. Like I said we gave them a second chance because we were under the assumption that things had gotten better and if we did give them a second chance our meal would be on the house(per Sean,Manager). I sat there and thought to myself are my standards just too high(no I'm not a snooty bi***), I believe in good service, honesty, and working hard(lots of other things too)...Anyways, very and may I repeat very disappointed. I will be spreading the word near and far..(cooperate office) friends, family, co-workers, you name this is not a restaurant you want to visit. I really got let down and my hopes up thinking it changed...nothing changed. read more

Went there for lunch at 2:30. It was crowded with people standing up by their tablles and taking pictures. When we got seated after a 20 minute wait, the waitress seemed to be in a hurry. This was the first time we had been to Mugshots and we were trying to go over the menu. The waitress offered no assistance. I got the Come-back burger and my daughter had the Cajun salad. There wasn't anything special about the burger, except, smaller than other burger places. The waitress didn't even ask how I wanted it cooked, so she must have ASSumed I wanted it well-done. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce. We were very disappointed. We had expected more from the reviews. I didn't even know they sweet fries till I saw another table with them. I don't know if our waitress was new to the job or just didn't care. To top it off, she asked if I wanted change back when she picked up the bill. Don't think we will be going back.
