Wow, this place went beyond my exceptions for a small diner. Upon arrival the staff was extremely helpful. This is one of the things that I enjoyed seeing, that the staff was happy. It shows that they love their job. The workers greeted everyone in the door as well as out. In addition, there was someone who periodically swept the floors and clean the counters and prepare the for their next guest. For having only one restroom, you could tell that the staff does their best to keep it tidy and clean. I really enjoyed the menu and the different options that it provided. For my first time visiting the menu is big, but it is not overwhelming. Also, if you are allergic to wheat and looking to eat healthy, then this is the place for you. They have a variety of options such as gluten free, wheat free, spinach wraps and more to choose from. If you are looking for somewhere to eat and are in a hurry, then this is definitely the place to visit for quality fresh food. Additionally, I also enjoyed that they had a variety of teas and sauces to choose from that made my meal interesting. However, the only thing that was a downfall from my perspective are the cups. I ordered a tea and you have to pay attention to the design of the cup because the texture resembles the cup you use for a fountain drink. I feel as if it had a card-board wrap to wrap around the drink it would help distinguish the two, as well as making the hot drink easier to hold. So have been continuing to make the rounds for breakfast in the Henderson area and Munchbox is definitely a worthy mention. This place is a no frills, brunch place where you can order breakfast and lunch items. They have a strong variety of items so there is something for every eater on the menu. The folks are friendly and the service is fast and the portions certainly do not skimp you so you will feel content. The menu is comprised "BYO" options and then pre-defined sandwiches, omelets, breakfast plates, salads, wraps, burgers, etc. Over my last set of visits, I end up getting the BYO and then a few of the lunch sandos. There are only about four tables that are still available inside, but there's also one or two outside for those beautiful mornings. I was initially disappointed at the first two or three items I inquired about were unavailable. I finally settled on a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel with eggs/bacon/hash browns included on the sandwich! The bacon is thick, eggs cooked to order, and the bagels are extremely fresh and spicy in this particular instance! A great breakfast sandwich! The mountain of Strawberry Nutella Pancakes was insane! The pancakes themselves were fabulous, strawberries fresh and plentiful, but the Nutella version is more for kids in my opinion. I finally got to try this place as I've heard so any great things about it. I'm a huge fan of breakfast (although they serve lunch as well) and I went in to try the build your own breakfast sandwich. I got a onion bagel with an over medium egg, pepper jack cheese, and sausage. I opted for the combo which came with a hash brown and orange juice. Everything was so good! The breakfast sandwich was seasoned perfectly and everything was cooked spot on. The hash browns looked like the ones from McDonalds but tasted so much better. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and you could absolutely taste the quality. We dined in and the staff was courteous and attentive. I saw they do offer delivery through Uber Eats and I saw them packing up orders very securely using a tamper seal. After making the drive from LA to Vegas one very early weekday morning, I was in need of a good breakfast. I looked up breakfast places near by destination, and found Munch Box. Munch Box is located in a large shopping plaza. Parking was no issue at all to find, though I did come here early on a weekday morning during the Covid 19 pandemic. I walked in and found two friendly workers here. There was only one other customer, so my wait was not long at all. After perusing the menu for a bit, I decided to go with the Munch Box Breakfast. I got it with egg whites, home fries, turkey bacon, and french toast. The food was delicious! It was freshly made, and made with pride. I can tell that the food was quality, and it hit the spot without making me too comatose. Their coffee is strong, which is exactly what I needed that morning. The place was clean, and the staff were efficient in their service. There is some seating inside, and there is an outside patio nearby with plenty of seating. I've been dying to try this place so when I was in the area looking for a bagel spot I couldn't resist. I got the Tijuana hot bagel and wow it was good! This is a large bagel and great quality. I normally go to Einstein's or a bagel chain place but these ones are top notch. The bagel was really good quality and large and fluffy. The ingredients were good quality. The eggs were clearly not those microwave ones from Einstein's and the bacon was thick and juicy. The cream cheese also had fresh jalapeños which surprised me. Also, who was the genius that thought to put hash browns on a bagel? Literally amazing!!! I will definitely go back and try out their other dishes. Only thing I would suggest if ordering the Tijuana hot with bacon, egg and hashbrown is to go for light cream cheese. Honestly the food was great but kind of messy and slipping apart. I was really satisfied with my experience here! The woman who took my order was extremely helpful in my decision-making process which is really nice because most of the time people will just stand there and wait for you to make a choice. I told her that I wasn't really feeling meat so she was like ok how about we add some avocado instead which is exactly what I wanted hear! She was so nice and checked in on me frequently even though it was a pay first then sit down kind of place. Then I got my food in a timely fashion, and it was just delicious for a simple as it was, it was really delicious. The chef also came and checked on me which I appreciated. I would say the only negative I have is that they give out plastic forks and knives, which is fine...but I had French toast and it was hard to cut through and I feel like I was almost going to break the knife at times. When I first walked in the guy working at the counter only said good morning to the white women that I opened the door for. There was no one else in the entire store, he did not even want to make eye contact with me because I was black. He barely spoke to me as I was waiting to remove my credit card out from the machine. I put a $3 tip on my card for him and now I'm regretting it! He handed me 2 cups and immediately changed his attitude to a more up beat one when he took the white womens order in behind me. When I got home, I discover that our order was wrong. We asked for French Fries for our choice of potatoes and instead we got hash browns. It was not the end of the world, potato/ potato? The big issue I had was the entire meal cost $27 and it was not a real meal. Mc Donald's has the same size pancakes and even give you more eggs... oh" and let's be clear - munch box is also not going to give you real eggs! They are the fake eggs mix from the carton! THE SAUSAGE WAS OLD AND DRY AND FELT LIKE PLAYDO!!!!! It may have even had little white strings that looked like parasites in it! I POSTED A VIDEO OF THE SAUSAGE! I am beyond disappointed and discussed! I could have paid a much lower price at Mc Donald's for a better meal. My husband and I finally stopped in here for lunch yesterday. We've eyed this spot for awhile, but have always curved left to Stephano's instead. I'm glad we finally made our way into Munch Box. There is a giant menu board on one wall of the restaurant so it's easy to see all of the menu options and make a selection. The woman that took our order was very friendly and warm. She even checked in on us after we had our food to make sure we were enjoying our meals. The restaurant is small inside with only five or six tables, but it seemed to be working out that a table was always available as needed. Pricing was really reasonable and I would consider this an inexpensive lunch option. The menu had many enticing options, but the Poutine Burger on the specials board is what ultimately caught my attention. I was warned that it would take 7-8 minutes to prepare because it's made fresh. This was no problem at all and I appreciate that the food is prepared fresh here. The burger was very delicious and the poutine on top was really good. The fries in the poutine had a great flavor and the gravy was really good. I went with a salad as my side option and it came with a delicious raspberry vinaigrette. My husband had the Turkey Grilled Cheese. The bagel tasted more like a regular slice of bread than a bagel. Maybe it wasn't toasted enough or something. The rest of the food didn't have much flavor. The bacon was decent but fatty and the French toast had zero flavor. The home fries were the best thing I had and I'm not usually a fan of them. I had a couple bites of everything and left the rest.
