Neat little mom-and-pop place I just discovered. Really clean aesthetics, old fashion 50s diner feel. Food was good - coffee is included in the special and coffee was fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly, everybody was really nice. I dined alone so I Saturday small to talk - and the owner came out and told me I could move to a booth that they had space for me to spread out. had breakfast with my wife on sunday at mundys diner. I had the first item on the menu, 2 eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, toast (1 piece) sausage gravy and biscuit with orange juice and coffee. the eggs were done perfect, the potatoes were a little rubbery (I believe from sitting too long) bacon was good, toast well what can you say about toast, the sausage gravy and biscuit was very good (I do recommend this), juice was cold, but so was the coffee (not real cold, but you could drink it straight down without burning your lips). overall, the service was very good, the food overall was good, and as a new diner, still learning the ins and outs, I do recommend you give it a try, I think you will like the atmosphere and service. prices were just right for what you receive. enjoy the food. read more

Everything about this place was wonderful. The atmosphere, the staff, and omg the food. My wife is a huge fan of steak and eggs. She said that the steak and eggs were the best she'd ever had. Just ordered breakfast from Mundy's and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. Spent $26 bucks and the food is poor quality. Hashbrows are burned with onions just piled on top, fried green tomatoes are burned, coffee taste burnt the toast is barely toasted. The food was so overcooked that smoke should still be coming off the food, but guess the temperature...COLD. My husband stopped in to get food while we were passing through on way to enjoy our vacation. Should have kept going. Waste of time and money. They need new cook and management this place IS TERRIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! read more

Second visit we couldn't get served breakfast in 50 minutes.... had to ask for coffee refills. We were told repeatedly that food was coming right out. I have no clue what went wrong. read more

I had the daily special: the chicken and waffles. We waited almost an hour for our food to be served. I thought the wait would make it worth it because it seemed all the other tables waited for similar amounts of time. Then I noticed people who arrived after us getting served before us. I also had to ask someone who wasn't our server for coffee refills. When my food finally came out, there was barely any flavor and the quality of the food was similar to cafeteria food. Absolutely LOVE Mundy's! They have a range of options and always some sort of deal on the dry erase board! They have music going and if it's a little too hot in there you can always ask to turn on the fans! There are a lot of really sweet regulars and the staff are very welcoming and homey! All very very sweet people! One stall bathrooms are available. They have booths and tables. The place is decorated with vintage items and old records and mini records. They do have outside seating, but only in the summer! Food is always amazing, my favorite on the menu for breakfast is the Chicken & Waffles and for lunch is the Philly Cheesesteaks! But, you can order either of those whenever during the day. I will say it is a brunch place so they do tend to stop cooking around 1:00 and close around 2:00, but you can always call and they'll let you know if they'll take more people! I highly recommend!! Great little joint. Stopped there on a Saturday morning on a trip to Ohio. Bisvuits n gravy, hashbrowns, bacon, toast, french toasts. You name it. I tried most of their breakfast items between me, my wife and daughter's plates. Good value for your money. Very humble. Hard working servants. Only complaint is the size of the dining area. Amazing food! Long wait though. We waited 10 mins. to be seated and then they put menus down and didn't even tell us where to sit so we just kinda found a table. When we sat the last was nice and had us order. She then brought our drinks and we had to wait another 30-45 minutes. When they brought the food they had it come in about 3-4 trips. The food was brought out and it was fantastic clearly 5 star food. But the wait for me just brought it down to 4 star. read more

I don't eat breakfast, so my selection was a little limited as compared to others'. But I ordered a 1/3 pound hamburger and loved it. It really had the best flavor I've had from a burger. So, when I go back that's what I will order again. My rating isn't for the selection on the menu, because I'm limited on what to get here.
