Purchased a 4 hour cleaning service via Groupon. When I tried to schedule an appointment they changed the terms of their fine print. I asked why wouldn't you state that on the Groupon fine print and they blamed Groupon. Let me save you some time, if you purchase their services via Groupon, they don't disclose all their hidden stipulations. They give you a list of what they will not do after you make the purchase rather than just disclosing it on the Groupon fine print. Buyer beware. Groupon does not give refunds once you view the voucher but when I showed them text messages from this vendor, they agreed it was a breach of contract and they refunded my money 100%. read more

What an absolute joke! She left 30 min early. All she did was vacuum and even that was an insanely poor job. Toilets, floors, microwave, and bathtub (which I specifically said that I wanted done ) none cleaned!!! Why am I paying you $50 for shitty vacuuming job? Used this service twice to clean my apartment. First cleaning was completed within the arranged time limit and the professionals arrived on time. The second time I used this service was for a move out deep clean. The scheduled time for cleaning service was for 8a.m., no one showed to the apartment until 2p.m. Unknown if the cleaning was done well as I had to catch my flight to move home and required the leasing office to let them in/out of the apartment. I have repeatedly asked Amy for a receipt for the transaction, and have been dismissed with every excuse in the book as to why a receipt cannot be given. It has been 3 weeks now, I would not recommend this service to others as the professionalism is lacking as well as punctuality. read more

Please do not twist facts. The only person I talked with was Amy in your company. I never talked with you, the owner. I told Amy from the beginning and then every time I talked/texted her that I need a weekend cleaning ASAP because I work on week days and won't be home. I had been told by Amy on 06/07 that the cleaning could be done the week after (last weekend) but she never followed through and just simply ignored my texts. The fact is that Amy hadn't scheduled me for any cleaning date yet when I called her on 06/17, 2 weeks after my initial phone call to schedule a weekend cleaning ASAP + multiple texts and phone calls I made in between. My requests were totally ignored for 2 weeks until I got upset, then suddenly next weekend became available. Unfortunately, I'm out of town next 2 weeks. Amy told me that you can refund my money. I hope you can keep your promise this time. I'm looking for a cleaning company that I can rely on and work with long term. I can't imagine working with a company that just scheduling requires so much time and energy. read more

Neyba did a really good job! She's was sufficient and made sure she paid closely attention to the areas that I needed cleaned. She's very sweet and worked the entire she was appointed for. The only negative thing is the lady that handles the appointments called me and said that I would get 2 maids for 1 hour instead of the Groupon that I paid for but ultimately there was only 1 and she stayed for 2 hrs so there was a bit of a confusion to me. read more

They have always been friendly, thorough, and easy to communicate with via text, which is really helpful if you have a job where you are unable to make or answer telephone calls throughout the day. I purchased a deal through Living Social. 1st mistake I did not confirm exactly what cleaning would be involved. I had 2 girls for 1.5 hours. I thought plenty of time in my small 1 bed 1 bath condo. When they where finished I just did a scan of the work, but I should have done a more thorough check before they left. Kitchen sink wasn't fully cleaned and the faucets untouched. they did not move anything (like the sponge holder) so that was still dirty. Did not clean the front of the dishwasher or refridge. The microwave was cleaned very well! They didn't vacuum by the little box as there was a bunch of litter (clean) still on the carpet. The computer desk was li the bathroom-- the shower doors and mirror were cleaned well but the outside of the tub wasn't cleaned, the top of the toilet wasn't cleaned, the fixtures not cleaned. I expected SHINY fixtures and did not get that anywhere. They dusted some furniture and some nick nacks Luis was very apologetic and wanted to send the girls back that evening but since I had company coming I already did the work they should have done. They did come back this weekend. However both girls only spoke Spanish- so they had to call the office so I could understand and instruct what needed to be fixed. They were to be there 30 mins total for both as my agreement was 1 hour for 1 person or 30 min for 2 to make up for the issues. However they were told the total was 30 min- 1 person or 15 min for 2 people. Ugh! Luis though cleared that up quickly. the new girl who did the bathroom did fine job. but the girl who did the kitchen really wasn't into it and just did not put 100% into fixing the issues. I was very surprised and disappointed as there are SO many positive reviews. I could have done a better job- and I hate cleaning! Overall about 40% of the work was just fine no complaints. I normally would have let a couple little issues go but this was just way too many to ignore. read more

My apartment looks incredible - my husband commented on how it looked as clean as when we moved in. I disagree - it's way cleaner! My hopes were to have everything wiped down, vacuumed and dusted - and she went above and beyond in the kitchen, bathrooms, and even dusted the ceiling fan and piano (carefully and effectively). And she told me that Ramona was no longer in their traveling distance since they had moved to the 92101 zip code. I have been meaning to write a review for these nice folks for a while! I can't say enough good things about Amy, Talia and the rest of the crew. They have been fantastic in fitting in my last minute house cleaning requests and have always done an awesome job. They are professional and always start by asking me what I'd like to get special cleaning attention or something else I need help with , like recently helped me bring in a heavy rug and cut carpet pad to fit. They are very attentive to details and I am genuinely shocked every time how clean the wood floors and carpet is. They use a professional backpack canister vacuum and it is impressive! The best part of this is that their rates are VERY reasonable. I pay 40/hr per cleaner. There is no minimum so if I want Talia to come and power clean for 1 hr, Amy will happily schedule her. They use Groupons (how I found them) and another reason that I recommend Munoz is that it is a WOMAN OWNED small business. To sum up, I love these hard working ladies and I highly recommend them. read more

Munoz cleaning service was super responsive and easy to communicate with by phone and text. The cleaners came about 15 mins early which was fine. They worked really hard to clean the place. It was a move out / deep cleaning situation. I would suggest getting realistic quotes based on square footage. I ended up having to add hours to get the cleaning done but I'm glad I did. I was there the entire time to observe and they are efficient and hardworking. Would definitely use them again in the future. read more

All I ever got was their answering machine and I NEVER received a call back. I contacted Groupon to see if I could get my money back. They told me that I would have needed to ask in the first 3 days. I said I've been trying to call them for over a week with no luck. So they contacted the business and said to wait 3 business days. That was over a week ago and I still haven't called me. I've used Munoz Cleaning a couple of times now. They've always done an outstanding job. The first time I used them, my kitchen was in need of a good scrubbing before we had a party in addition to regular pre-party cleaning, and they did not disappoint. My kitchen sparkled when they were done and there was not a dust bunny to be found. They were on time, professional, and reasonably priced. I requested 4 hours of cleaning. I have only had one cleaner who was on time but the cleaner had to change her schedule so I could no longer use her. I have had to cancel important meetings due to their unreliability. I wish I could write a review about their cleaning, but they never came to clean. I purchased the offer on Living Social and scheduled my cleaning for 1 PM, November 26, the day before Thanksgiving. I wanted the house fresh and clean for my houseful of weekend visitors. At 3:00 they called to reschedule saying that an employee had been sent to the hospital. Of course I have sympathy for that sort of situation, and said I understand. They said they would come instead the following Tuesday at 2 PM, and would send 2 people so I would get double the value. I thought that was a pretty nice compromise, and by now the house really needed a cleaning after cooking Thanksgiving dinner and catering to 5 overnight guests. On Tuesday, I tried calling them in the morning just to confirm. No answer, multiple times. They must have had at least 10 missed calls on their phone from me, but no one ever thought to call me back. 2 PM comes and goes, 3 PM I call Living Social and get a refund. 5 PM Munoz Cleaning calls me to reschedule. I tell them I've already received a refund. She explains that the reason she never showed up was that they tried calling me on Monday to confirm, but I never answered (I wasn't home) so they cancelled my appointment. No voice mail, no call back, nothing. Not very smart business if you ask me. My preference is to support local business, especially minority owned, but I would never recommend this company. It doesn't matter how good they are at cleaning if they never even show up. read more

The cleaning lady inadvertently tightened the shower faucet too tight -The plumber charged me over $900 to fix. Because there had been no problem when I used the shower two hours before, and because the hot water faucet was still perfect was the reason the plumber gave that it was entirely her fault. We purchased the $99 service and was told a team of 2 would be here for 4 hours. We confirmed the date and time, with of course, the address. On the day of the cleaning, we were called once to let us know that they were running a few minutes late. We were called again letting us know they couldn't find the house. We gave her the address and what car to look for and that my husband would be out front. They called again and said they don't see my husband. I asked them to tell me what address they were looking for and they were in the wrong city! So once we get the correct address, one woman shows up an hour and 15 minutes past our scheduled time. When asked where the 2nd person was, we were told there wasn't a 2nd person. When we booked, we specifically told them we needed a deep cleaning and asked how many they said, since the ad stated "a team" would come out. An hour and a half into cleaning, "L" (who was wonderful!), realized she needed help. She went to her truck and brought in her daughter to help her out. Her daughter then had to bring her 18 month old with her. They both busted their behinds to complete the job in 4 hours. So, we paid for 2 people to clean for 4 hours each. One cleaned for 4 hours and the other (not an employee or contractor with Munoz) and her baby cleaned for approximately 2.5 hours. Was my house clean? The living, dining, and kitchen are amazing and very clean. As time started running out the rest of the rooms show the lack of attention and there is still lots of dust and the vacuuming could have been more thorough. We called Munoz twice by phone to discuss this with them and after they made a commitment to call back, we've not yet heard from them 3 days later. read more

Very unprofessional business. I scheduled a deep cleaning service for 4 hours at a rate $40 an hour. I spoke to a woman named Amy. The person that was coming to my house got there an hour late. Amy called me to tell me she was running late but will bring another person to help her clean. Amy never told me that the extra person was also going to charge another $40 an hour. The two women worked 3 hours in my house and charged me for 6. I gave them a check but later in the day cancel the check and called Amy to discuss problem. Amy did not contacted me until she could not cash the check. She told me they charged for 6 hours because there were two people cleaning. I told her that it was not my fault the original person was late. Since they could not cash the check. They charged my credit card without permission. I am going to file a small claims case. read more
