Anything for carpet cleaning, mold remediation, water and fire damage, these guys are the best in chicago land. The customer service is as good as you can hope for. The lady treated me very kindly. There's an option to setup an account with them if you have a company. I recommend that. They explain everything to you and answer all of your questions. I also noticed that they have a serious repair shop for truck mounts. The best part is the location, it's a few minutes off of the highway so there's very easy access. I hired Dean and Perfected Painting and Home Services to paint a home that I had just purchased and…read moreto stain the interior woodwork throughout the house. The job was hectic right from the start. He had painters coming and going constantly. One person would start an area, leave, and then someone else would finish it. There were problems everywhere. When the job was completed, there was not a single room that did not require multiple rounds of touch-ups. Multiple sections of ceilings were completely missed. At one point, Dean tried to convince me that a bedroom closet covered in cobwebs had been freshly painted. There were paint speckles all over my kitchen counters because they did not put down plastic before rolling the walls. They also rolled the stairway walls without proper protection, leaving paint speckles all over my stairs. It took me nearly two hours to clean the paint off the risers. They also failed to remove old caulk before applying new caulk. Instead, they simply caulked over the existing material. It has been just over a year, and some of their caulk work is already failing. The wood staining had numerous issues, including runs, drips, uneven color, blotchy areas, missed spots, and sections that looked painted rather than stained. The contract called for light sanding, followed by a coat of stain and a coat of polyurethane. Toward the end of the project, the sanding appeared to be skipped. The stain and polyurethane were mixed together and brushed onto the wood. After seeing the finished product, I consulted multiple professional painters. They advised that the defects could not simply be touched up and that the wood would need to be sanded back down to bare wood and completely re-stained. Some even expressed concern that certain doors may need replacement due to the extent of the damage. Before hiring Dean for the garage floor, I told him I was considering an epoxy system. He advised against epoxy and recommended a product he referred to as "Heavy Seal," telling me it would be less expensive, more durable, and longer-lasting. I trusted his expertise and hired him based on that recommendation. The contract called for proper preparation of the garage floor. Unfortunately, the floor coating began failing within months. What started as a few small problem areas quickly turned into widespread flaking, peeling, bubbling, and hot tire pickup. I now have paint chips all over my driveway where my children play, and the chips are also being tracked into my house. I had several garage floor coating companies inspect the floor, and they all indicated that the failure appeared to be the result of improper surface preparation before the coating was applied. I spent thousands of dollars on work that now needs to be redone. Hiring this company was one of the worst financial decisions I have ever made. I ultimately filed a small claims lawsuit in DuPage County seeking compensation for the cost of repairing the defective work. As of the date of this review, the owner of the company, Dean, has not appeared at one or more scheduled court dates.

We contact multiple vendors to come and looks at the issue, but none were as thorough and experienced as Mark and his team. From the beginning to end, the experience has been stellar. Mark arrived to look at the issue promptly. He was able to identify the issue accurately and was honest about the necessary scope of the remediation work. (Other vendors suggest a smaller fix which ,in hindsight, would not have solved our issue in the long run and would require additonal work later on) Throughout the entire process, he constantly communicated the progress of the work and kept us update on the schedule, something that we appreciate since its the first time we have to deal with mold and water issues. Last but not least, Mark and his team take great care in carrying out the work and handling our belongings in the work area. I contacted a few different people, but Mark was the first to be willing to make it out to us that same day. After checking out the damage, he put my mind at ease and gave us the rundown of his plan of running a few fans and dehumidifiers in our utility closest and in the crawlspace. I asked him a bunch of questions I had, and he answered each one with ease and helped me understand what was going on. In the end, Mark and his team set up the fans and dehumidifiers in the spaces and left them for a few days. We were considering getting new tiling and he recommended Jose from Neza Restoration & Repair. Jose and Fernando also did a really good job. What makes Mark stand out from the rest is his availability, clear communication, and just being a down to earth guy. I felt I could trust Mark, and may have overstepped when asking for advice outside of water damage, but was he willing in answering and helping me out. God forbid I have more water damage in my future, but if I do, Mark and his team are the first ones I'll contact. And I'll be referring them to every person I know seeking water damage help from now on.
