I purchased a 30-inch ceramic planter and was originally told it would be left on my driveway. However, upon arrival, the delivery man, Jeff, went above and beyond. He rang the doorbell to notify me of his arrival. To my surprise Jeff kindly offered to move the heavy planter closer to its final destination. In addition to all this unexpected act of kindness, Jeff positioned it so effectively that moving this heavy planter into its final spot was effortless. Thanks to his extra effort, the planter is now exactly where I need it. When I offered Jeff a tip to show my gratitude for his care and helpfulness, he graciously declined, saying he was just happy to help. It is rare to encounter such genuine professionalism. You are fortunate to have someone like Jeff representing your company.

We purchased a refrigerator-sized cooler for only $69 We also picked out a new refrigerator as we had to throw all of our food away it is spoiled and unsafe to eat We shall notify Menards when we have power again I believe that it is helpful to know: - They deliver and install a refrigerator next day for $130 - it is least expensive to purchase a floor model or any refrigerator that they have in stock - for an additional $30 they will install a water line for ice and cold water We did not use this option as we have nice silicone ice cube trays for $5 from Amazon and I only drink room temperature water (I am healthy due to my Hindu beliefs such as taking baths only etc etc) We chose an inexpensive floor model we do not need anything fancy We also purchased a nice cooler - i got ice at the local gas station So while I hope nobody ever needs this information, Menards is there if you do ABT appliances are overpriced and and the installation costs a small fortune - i price compared everywhere online PRO TIP - your current refrigerator has a sticker inside that you may photograph it states the dimensions (size, width etc) to buy a proper replacement that fits inside your kitchen (I know this since the 70s from my dearly departed Dad) I am proud of my husband he grabbed some $1 Lemon Oreos and put them.back due to his obesity

Reader, he remembered us from a month ago--the only other time I've been in this store. I know he wasn't just saying that because he cooed over my baby and specifically remarked about the fact that she was awake this time instead of sleeping through the shopping trip (which was true). This is what makes shopping at local businesses so much fun; you get to established a rapport with someone who lives what they do, lives their neighbors, and wants to make sure that you enjoy shopping with them. Again as I came through I thought about how I wish I could hire an interior designer with Kenneth Ludwig on the shortlist. They didn't disappoint with their Christmas decor. They have lots of ornaments, all beautiful, and other holiday items. I REALLY love the stocking holders they have. They look like those old ceramic Christmas trees that lots of our grandmothers had, and it even lights up. I am almost certainly going to be returning before Christmas to pick up a couple. I stopped by Kenneth Ludwig Chicago because I learned he sells CR Laine furniture and that is the brand I had my eye on. Upon arriving, Kenneth was welcoming and listened to what I wanted. He's so knowledgeable about furniture and design, not pushy at all, and patient. I've been in his store a few times and each experience was great. I did end up purchasing a settee from Kenneth and that was about 1.5 years ago. The buying process was simple. The small couch is still in great shape, easy to clean, and looks great in my house. It was on the pricier side of furniture, but I not a shocking price. I will consider going back to Kennth Ludwig Chicago when purchasing my next nice piece of furniture.

Well I tried to buy soil... $42 a yard you would think that I would get pulverized screened…read moresoil.... nope I got weeds, huge rocks and blocks of soil... see the pic... thats what I got... that huge piece of concrete is about 12" x 8"... omg.. thats right .. there was screening or pulverizing... I would go to another place for top soil... now the reason why I gave them a 2 was that I did speak to the manager and she gave me a half off discount on my next yard... but that soil was the same as the original... I know they were short on soil but then charge less and do not say it's pulverized.... thats shameful. !!!

Horrible experience with Breezy Hill. Had a landscaping project done last year by a professional…read morecontractor. Chose Breezy Hill for the perennials due to proximity to my home in Salem Lakes. Spent over $1,000 on a variety of rose bushes, shrubs, etc. Landscapers planted them, installed the weed barrier, and landscaping stones as is customary last July. Everything looked great and I was a happy camper for a few months. 2026 rolls around, and nearly half the perennials that we purchased were completely dead. They did not survive the winter. I took pictures, emailed Pam at Breezy Hill to see what they could do. Here is her response: Hi Mike, Thanks for sending these pictures. As you know we do not warranty cash & carry items and actually never warranted Perennials at all. We are confident they are healthy when they leave our care since we are all gardeners here, but overwintering is our biggest challenge with our very volatile and extreme temperature fluctuations. The way to ensure best results for this is to remove all stone from their vicinity and mulch instead, which moderates and insulates temperature and moisture for our plants, much as would occur in nature with plant debris forming the mulch layer. Stone does the opposite of this causing even worse fluctuations while also cutting off oxygen and sometimes water to the roots. If there is landscape fabric under the stone that should also be removed since that makes even worse conditions for the plants, e.g. no oxygen or water to the roots, sours and compacts the soil. I'm here to help with more suggestions any time today, July 4 until 7:00, July 5 10-4:00, July 6 after about 2:00-7, July 7 9-6. Thanks, Pam No offer to refund or replace even a portion of the plants, no offer to sell replacements at her cost or at a discount, NOTHING. My husband selected 2 pairs of pants while we were shopping and they happen to be in the clearance…read moresection for around $10. Perfect! We go to check out and the pants were the only clearance item we had. They ring up full price, which no big deal, it happens. The associate studies the pants! Checking the DPCI to make sure it matches. Ok, that's fine. She then proceeds to call over a total of 3 people over a 5 minute period while they all study the tag. We say it's fine, if there is an issue we won't buy them. The manager comes and says no, we can't sell you these for the price the tag has on it, I will sell them to you for $24. Huh? So I can't pay what the price tag says? She says it's wrong. I informed her there is a shelf full of them with the same price and asked did the DPCI match? She didn't even know what a DPCI was... the associate confirms the match. She then says they have had a lot of theft by the associates (nothing to do with me) who tag things wrong for their friends. I laugh and say look at our cart and receipt, nothing was clearance but the pants and if that was my plan I would want something of real value! Not pants. She says she isn't accusing us. I check out and say it's ok, we will buy what we have. She walks away to check our story and after she sees there is a whole shelf of pants with the same price she pushes us to buy the pants. Offers us free Starbucks for the trouble. We decline. She keeps talking practically begging us to buy the pants. My husband buys 1 pair because we are simply ready to leave at this point and she lets it be. I don't think it's appropriate to make a staffing issue with theft, the customers issue. Especially when it's something as cheap as pants. I would think they would do multiple items and items of value! If Target has this issue, they should track and manage it internally, not harass/ slightly accuse the customers.

Each trip, I was helped by at least two people who asked questions, listened and made suggestions based on what I said. They didn't try to sell me anything. They did make sure I didn't leave the store looking for something that I didn't find. Excellent customer service requires you to talk to people and listen to them and they did a great job. I got all of the supplies I needed to finish my project and my space looks a lot better.
