The customer service of JD garage was EXCELLENT! The guy who answered my call and helped me through was SO helpful (I think his name is Imad), he had me email them a picture of what was wrong, got back to me with a reasonable quote and got it replaced for me, and the entire process was SO smooth! I have definitely sang praises of this garage to my coworkers all day, and I will be hands down switching to JD for all my auto repairs/ maintenances from now on! Thank you guys SO SO MUCH!

There is nothing wrong with my converter. JD Garage lifted my car, tightened two loose screws, and the rattle disappeared, not joking. They were extremely friendly, and the nice lady at the front desk was so hospitable, and they clearly are very transparent. I feel bad walking away for free, but they will absolutely get my return business. That level of service is just unheard of in this day of age. I recommend, %. More than just because it was free, but because it didn't have to be. They would rather want business than screw someone over. Thank you guys very much.

Of course I know nothing about cars, and after stumbling around on Yelp I found this company. I called the number listed and it sent me directly to the owner. We spoke for about ten minutes and he gave me helpful tips, pointers, things to look for things to ask, and provided me with additional contacts. Although I did not receive any service from this company, I could tell the owner cares and truly wanted to help me as well as others. I was very grateful for our chat and his assistance and expertise, and he made me feel a little better even though I was in a deflating situation. It's not everyday that someone is so helpful, and I appreciated the help that was thrown my way! I'm positive without a doubt, you'd receive great work from here and above and beyond customer service!

These guys are good! A class act all the way!!…read more Just before signing the big check for a slightly used car I decided to have it checked out at a mechanic not affiliated with the dealership - as you always should! The car had seemed perfect, it was clean, purred along the interstate during the test drive, everything worked as it should. Perfect! But I still needed to have it check out for peace of mind. And I am glad I did! But we'll get to that later... From the initial phone call where they were able to get me in last minute to being greeted upon arrival, to the actual service, the entire process was top notch. As I looked around their office signs on how they conduct business were everywhere, from the honorary system of paying for the snacks to the mottos that hung on the wall exuding they were serious about integrity and honesty. And they were. From years of interviewing people for work you get a slight talent on how to read people. Actually, that was why I was there, I had a bad feeling from those that were about to sell me the car. I had detected a few non-verbal signs of deception that gave me pause. On the other hand, I felt the guys at Jerry DeLong Automotive are genuine, honest, good guys. Very important in a auto shop! And they didn't prove me wrong. Now for the bad news... When I returned (they paid for my ride back, too!) they showed me everything that was of concern with the car - and there was a lot. Seems the previous owner pushed the car to its limits. Leaks everywhere along with some other things. These repairs would of cost thousands in a year or two. The $90 (I used their Yelp discount) I spent there saved me thousands of $$$! Needless to say I didn't buy the car. The whole process was done with class, professionalism, and honesty. My only regret is that my house is not located more closely because these would be my go-to auto guys. Thanks again for your services. Keep up the good work!

Where I came from I had every person you needed, a phone call away. Never had a worry about anything. Well after searching for 2 weeks, I came across Japanese Auto Works. I spoke to Chris, and with my lack of knowledge and more so horrible explanation of an issue I had with my sons 2003 Infinity, that no one could figure out what was wrong, let alone how to fix this dam thing. Chris, not only knew what I was talking about, he said he knew how to get it going. He didn't promise anything, but he did say if it can be fixed, I'll get it as good as I can considering how bad my situation was. ( it was bad) After some time, I finally got the message my son's Beater of a car was good to go. Chris, saved my butt! I had put so much money in getting this thing fixed for my son to have something his first year in the Army, that I put myself in a pinch. Nevertheless Chris, came through, and because he did my son will have something while he going through Army SF selection process. Thank you Chris.. I was given a list of repairs to complete on my vehicle and I initially declined a transmission flush because my stepfather who is a mechanic in another city advised against it. Alan would not take no for an answer on this. After I expressed concerns multiple times, he assured me his mechanic said this service needed to be done. I hesitantly agreed to this and other repairs totaling $1900. When I picked up my vehicle it was no longer drivable, stalling every time I idled. They said I would have to pay $2500 for transmission repairs to make my vehicle drivable again (which I refused given the vehicle was not worth that much). The very first thing I found on Google is that it is NOT advisable to perform a transmission flush on a vehicle over 100k miles because it will worsen the problem and cause the vehicle to stall (my car had 160k). When I expressed frustration with this I was told my transmission was already shot before they began work and it wasn't their fault. So why did they advise me do nearly 2k worth of repairs knowing my vehicle would likely become completely unusable? Also, Alan was very aggressive, defensive and rude. I had to ask him multiple times not to raise his voice at me since I was not speaking to him that way. Clearly they either do not know the first thing about transmissions OR they maliciously did this flush in order to require me to pay an additional $2500 to get my vehicle working again. They did refund only the cost of the transmission flush but I am still out $1600 and have a car worth less than 1k after their service. I have been advised I could take them to court over this but decided I need the peace of just being done with this situation. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle!
