Why does eating "Right" have to be so hard Yelpdom? Like I feel as a "Yelper" I'm eating and drinking right all the time. That is how we come up with these reviews and such. You see, we all have these moments where we feel like after we come from the gym that we can eat anything. Well often case for "Some" not all we end up eating back all the calories and fat we burned. Lucky there are places like "Muscle Maker Grill" food and snacks that is designed for post work out, and the selection here is pretty nice and doesn't make you feel like you committed a sin post work out or while dieting. Here is my review. Thursday April 27, 2017 Location: Muscle Maker Grill Antioch, Ca People: 2 Adults Story: After a hard workout I was "Starvin like Marvin" as usual I wanted to just chow down at the first place I could think of, but then I thought to myself.."Tre, you've spent 2 hours in the gym...Nooooo!" But I was still hungry. As usual I took to "Yelp" to help me solve my problem and then upon scrolling what did I stumble upon.."Muscle Maker Grill" and upon pictures and reading reviews, this seemed like the right place to be at post work out. So my brova (NY Slag for Brother) and Me we set off to grab some grub. Service/Hospitality: We finally made it to the spot, we came at what seemed like a slight rush, it was okay though, just ment the place had to be worth the wait. We finally made it to the counter, the guy at the counter was pleasant. He answered question myself and my bro had. A pretty good experience, I felt welcomed. Food/Cleanliness: The establishment was pretty clean, not too many people seemed to be dining in for this day, but it was still a clean place even the kitchen/prep area from what I could see. Now on to the food! My Order - Santa Fe Wrap $8.49, I swaped the Chicken for Steak $1.99. And got the Cajun Pasta as my side $1.99. My Brova - Santa Fe Wrap (you know the price already) baked potato for his side Both - We both got Honest Half and Half Lemonades $2.25 a piece $4.50 for both. I will speak for what I received, The wrap seemed kinda small....but it was full of flavor! If you're familiar with the "Santa Fe" you should kinda be familar with the ingredients (Corn, Beans, Cheese, Protein of Choice, ect) It was a good wrap, and it surprisingly was filling. I'm pretty glad I went with the steak option, seemed to make the wrap more hearty. The steak was grilled perfectly and worked well with all the other ingredients. The Cajun Pasta was simple, but pretty nice as a side. The Cajun sauce was pretty bomb, I want to try the entree version of this dish alone to see if the experience would be the same. Overall: I would totally recommend "Muscle Maker Grill" for everyone, you don't have to be a gym rat to enjoy this place..but if you are this may be a highly visited place for you. I got a wrap with salmon and it was delicious! Great quality food and their zero carb sauce or whatever it's called is delicious. I really liked the sweet potato fries as well. Their wraps all start at around 9.99 to 10.99, they're not huge but they're definitely good. I'll be back after going to the gym. read more

Me and my family tried MMG for the first time today for lunch! The food was great, but the service was even better!! We were welcomed by the owner Sammi who helped to give us recommendations on the food and even gave us free samples of his famous green smoothie! This place for the second time has gave me and my son diarrhea. Sad thing is I love the food from here but my last visits here have not been impressive. Dirty - the cook looks like he just rolled out of bed- the other worker was emptying garbages outside then went inside and did more garbage duties around the food and cooking area literally next to the stove. To be honest I think the hygiene here had gave me some stomach issues in the past that I did not want to admit. But after watching my son for the second time get sick I gotta say something. The owner Sammi here is great. He took over about 3 years ago and you can tell he really cares about the business, customers and the quality of his food. The smoothies are made with all fresh, real fruit and veggies and you can tell the difference. I also got a Las Vegas wrap this time while I was in for lunch. The wraps are so good I've never tried anything else but I keep telling Sammi I will try one of the entrees. The customer service here is indescribable in a really good way!! I feel like I'm at home at this place considering how good the food is! The food is relatively healthy(macros) but the calorie count is wild!! I'm a person who can eat a lot and eating healthy was always a problem for me, but this place mimics anything that could be unhealthy and makes them into good-ass food that have a surprisingly low amount of calorie counts!! Their portions are really good and I get full off of 1/4 of the Arizona bowl! The manager Sammy has an enthusiastic attitude and is always a great guy to see when you enter the restaurant. I recommend anyone looking to eat healthy to come here ASAP! The food may be a bit pricy, but it's seriously worth it no doubt about it. Have driven by here many times, was looking for something light so stopped in. The Team was extremely friendly and gave recommendations. We both had the Godfather Bowl; 1 with salmon and 1 with chicken. They were both delicious! The broccoli was crunchy and everything had a really good flavor!
