After asking for a quote for an exhaust installation and oil change, I went in a few days later and I was in and out a satisfied customer a few hours later. Contacted the owner about getting an 2-way alarm installed. I thought the car in and within the same day, the alarm was installed successfully and it works very good for the most part! The buttons now turns on alarm as well as functions as a key fob to unlock the doors. Owner also programmed the key to open the rear trunk. Owner is easy to work with and can be very helpful as long as you know as the customer what you want. We even chatted a bit while he worked out the kinks with my alarm. He even notified me of my failing window regulator motor needing replacement, which I did together with alarm. Labor is very fair, even compared to many other places in the area. Tommy specializes in car audio/ aftermarket part installations. Tommy is a nice, professional, humble, and honest person. You can think of Tommy as a buddy. He is easy deal with and you can ask him any questions regarding your car and he will take good care of you. He is the only person I go to install my aftermarket parts on my car. The reason is because is he's a detailed person and has been in the business of installing auto parts for most of his life. He knows what he is doing. The installs are always fast. I am talking the good kind of fast. The "fast" where if its going to take 15 minutes to do the job, he will do it in 15 and won't lie to you that it will take 2 hours. So I end up getting coilovers and I call him to make a appointment. He finish instating the coilovers within two hours. He is fast and reasonable on labor too. But he doesn't accept credit cards. Thank you Tommy for working on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma offroad. Last week he installed front ditch lights for me. Today he installed an ARB Safari Snorkel and damn he did a perfect job. For those of you that dont know. To install a snorkel it requires you to drill holes and cut a big hole into your fender which is nerve racking but Tommy got it done with me cringing on the side. Next he installed my RCI rear differential skid plate to protect my rear diff from rocks and other things that can cause damage, and then to top the icing on the cake he installed my RCI Rock Sliders. For a person who works alone he is amazing at what he does. He knows how to think outside the box to make things work when it looks like it cant. Awesome experience here. If you need 4x4 work done he can do electrical led lighting, skid plates, rock sliders, bed racks, and snorkels. Just be sure to bring him all the correct parts. read more

Had him install coilovers on my MK6 GLI car 2 years ago, within the first week having coilover, I noticed that there was a clanking noise coming from my the front end of my car each time I would hit minor bumps or cracks on the road and I automatically assumed it was my coilovers, did my research and found out it was my top mounts and needed to be replaced (as what I originally thought) ordered aftermarket top mounts and had him install the top mounts. back then he charged $60 per each side, and my second time of returning to him he still charged me $60 on each side after seeing him not even taking out my whole suspension out ( I was a noob back then) anyway he had replaced the top mounts from my car and thought I was okay. Next day, the clanking was still there. I couldn't really do anything at that time since the next week I had to drive up to Utah for school. Fast forward a year, one of my front struts blew out on me while I was in Utah, so I had those warrantied and had them replaced by a friend that I met up there. After my friend had took out my suspension and reinstalled my new struts, he had noticed that the front struts were not installed correctly. There was a tab within the front struts that had to go in a certain way and Tommy had not installed the struts correctly, so basically the whole strut was not installed all the way inside the strut holder of the car. Which clearly explains a lot of things to me because I have a friend with a Mk6 GTI with the same suspension and wheels specs and his coils are slammed and mine are slammed all the way too and yet my car looks about 1-2 inches higher than his, it also explains why I was getting that clanking noise as well, since the strut was not seated properly, there was a lot of play going down there, and thats the reason why my struts were blown within a year of use because the struts were getting a lot of stress from not being installed correctly. Anyway my coilovers were installed correctly from a friend and my car look the way it should have in the beginning with it being low. I had him work on my car 2 years ago and he was pretty nice and had told him that I would refer my friends over to him to have their cars worked by him and so far I have told 5 friends to call him and his prices on VWs are not consistent! He charged me $240, and now he's charging $350 for the whole installation, and friends have told me how he doesn't seem like a friendly type of person in which I thought he was friendly when I had met, anyway I guess his people skills has got less and less over the years. My other comment is when I came to him the second time to install my top mounts, with him charging me original price per each side and with him not even taking out the whole strut out to replace the top mount. I believe my struts being blown a year later could have been avoided if he would have installed it correctly the first time, or better yet, taking out the whole strut the second time and installing it again. oh and P.S. I converted to euro cars in 2012 from the JDM scene and didn't really know anything about euro cars back then, and when I had him install my coilovers, I do remember him using an angle grinder or a dremel of some sort to grind down something off my new aftermarket coilovers, and I remember him doing that and I asked him why he did that and he said the company made the struts wrong and made me question why would the aftermarket company produce a product that would need some modifications to them? but yeah he was totally wrong and he didn't need to do that in the first place, he was just trying to short cut the installation and on the contrary, it affected my struts. I know he is a one man army and all. Hope my 2cents would help people. Think twice. read more

I have been using Tommy for a while now. Don't let the name fool you, as some others mentioned. I had him to this to my car: 1) Install Fog lights and run the relay to my steering wheel on my new 2013 GS350 so it looks stock - talk about perfection!!! I take it to the dealer and they keep asking how I did it and I just tell them to go see Tommy ;) 2) He painted my calipers (looks amazing!!!) 3) He just lowered my car with RS*R springs 4) This will be next...customer exhaust to be installed hopefully in the next 3 weeks. I know he is amazing at stereo's as I saw him working on a Ferrari the last time i was there (it looked and sounded great to me). So if he can do mods on a Ferrari, he can do mods on my car! The name of the store might be Music Box, but Tommy does so much more than just stereo installation. I came here to get an alarm installed by Tommy. I was recommended to him by so many people from various car clubs - Club Lexus, Imports @ CPP, etc. They said he was great at what he does, so I thought I'd give it a shot. The other reviews are right when they say the shop is only run by Tommy himself - but the great thing is, he usually only does work by appointment, so you're really never waiting. Plus, when he's working on your car, you two could chat away about everything. He's really the nicest guy I've met who's worked on my car. Installation took a couple hours, but it honestly didn't feel like it. Tommy told me that he feels as though we were just hanging out, not really a business and customer kind of thing...and I agreed. Overall, he's the first guy I'd recommend to my friends if they ever needed work done to their car. Tommy is very efficient, friendly, and detailed with his work. With my 2009 IS250, I've had him install coilovers, HID headlights, interior LED lights(bulbs purchased through him), and heat gunned the fender liner for more clearance with my first visit. On my second visit, I had him lower my coilovers a bit more, shave the rear quarter panels, made more clearance on my fender tabs, and install HID fog lights. I waited during both visits, and while waiting, we chatted a lot about random stuff, so time went by pretty fast, and by the time you know it, he was done! When it was time to bring my IS back to stock, I brought my original parts for him to reinstall, and he got that done in a jiffy too! When I got my 2012 IS350 F-Sport, I went back to him again, and swapped over the coilovers from my 2009 IS250 to my 2012 IS350, again, it was quick, painless, and pleasant. I received a lot of business cards from him, and I've handed them out to friends who wanted to install aftermarket accessories for their car. The friends that did see him, one with a 2009 Camry, had coilovers installed by him, and another one with a 2009 IS250 had their headlights and foglights blacked out, and body kit installed, just to name a few, and both were very happy with the results. I'm not sure why there's some negative reviews or unhappy customers. However, I can say that my experience with Tommy was great. I've heard about him in forums and it was mostly postive. So I checked out his instagram, had a few cool pictures and added him. Months later, I purchased a carbon fiber steering wheel with an LED screen. Most places in my area had no clue how to install something like this. As I was trying to figure out where to take my car next, I remembered that Tommy had done this before in a GTR. I asked him a few questions on instagram, was very nice. I decided to go to his shop and give him a try. Not only was he nice, he was definitely knowledgeable when it came to this stuff. There were wires everywhere, my steering wheel was basically in pieces. It was a horror scene but it was all part of the process!
