Moved to CC semi-recently and haven't been able to find a venue that serves bagel lox (pumpernickel bagel, cream cheese, slices of tomatoes, lox, capers and onions) well today is a happy day! I decided to try one more time and found it! MY FAVORITE MUFFIN is amazing but not only that, the NICEST ladies I've ever met. I called and asked about it and she said, yes we have all of those ingredients so I jet over there as fast as I could. I walked in and it was a lovely scent. After the greeting when I walked in, she said, are you the lady that called about the bagel lox? My smile couldn't have been any bigger. I said YES with happiness and joy! (LOL!!) While making the bagels, I was taking a photo of the bagels and was checking out the place and was honestly happy that I made that drive. When the bagels were ready, she shared that the lox was fresh and I could tell she put 1000% effort into making it perfect! She called me MOMMAS & THANKED ME when I was signing the tip portion. I told her, OMG Corpus folks are so nice! I meant it. I will definitely return and she now has a customer for life! IF you want the nicest service, the above-and-beyond food outcome, the most delicious food you've ever tasted, stop by My Favorite Muffin! You won't regret. Great selection of muffins and loved the minis. Good bagel sandwiches were good too.

We went this morning for a half a dozen bagel box and cream cheese. She told my husband that he had to order boxes on line. So he pointed to six different bagels which seemed then to be acceptable. Makes no sense. He was wondering what was. Taking so long until she handed him a warm box. He just asked for them cut and not toasted. $26 later he comes home with a box of 6 toasted bagels that are going to get cold and hard before the two of us have even time to eat them. I love their muffins!! This store is closer to my house so whenever I come by in the morning to pick up some muffins they're is usually a line. The wait isn't too long tho. The staff are really nice and always smiling. Muffins are freshly baked in the mornings. My favorite muffin is the chocolate chip and praline cheesecake muffin. They do have a variety of muffins like banana nut, Oreo, snickers, blueberry, etc. They also sell smoothies, bagels and sandwiches. read more

Rarely visit this shop since prob 6 years ago it's gone downhill with their flavor. Today was the cherry on top. There was literally no communication between whoever the manager and employee was. I had to repeat my order more than 3x to the both of them and they still managed to mess my order up. The whole experience just wasn't worth it and my order was over $30. Wouldn't recommend wasting your time here. read more

This place is the real deal. As you can imagine, pretty good muffins, and actually pretty good coffee too. I walked through the door and I was treated like royalty, the smells made me feel like I was in heaven. The food that entered my loins was truly divine in every way. I stopped in on the morning of thanksgiving eve and grabbed a latte and a box of minis for the office. I also ordered the everything bagel with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. I noticed the cream cheese was different. It used to be yellow now it's white. either way, it was yummy. The gentleman that was at the register (and also making lattes) was super polite and helpful. My visit was quick and efficient. I left with all my items and all my needs met. I stopped in about 7:05 am and there was one person on their way out and one person who came in after me. So not too busy. I don't make it in much because it's in the opposite direction of my way to work but I'll definitely make it a point to more often especially if quick service is consistent. More like my LEAST favorite bagel. They are sweet, yeasty, and not the proper substantial consistency for a bagel... They were almost soggy. The jalapeno/pepper jack bagels I purchased had a slice of processed American-style cheese set on the top of them. They were disgusting, and I ended up having to throw them out. They weren't cheap, either. read more

The hubby and I decided to stop. We noticed some oddities. First the parking. Two way entry arrows into the parking lot but parking spaces facing exsit. So technically entry should be via the side street and drive behind the building. Mind you we found it odd. Second....table and chairs are too close. Felt congested. Third. They did not have an alternative to milk, such as soy or almond milk. Items mainly consistented of cream cheese products...if a customer is lactose or allergic to milk products the choice of muffins is limited. In addition, my muffin tasted old. It had a freezer burn taste. The bottom of the muffin was crusty and burnt. Then, I over heard another customer complain about his milk tasting old, rotten, and sour. No, this couple will not return. Because at first this place was really good, the past times have been so-so.... the employees havent been that friendly and the muffins dont seem to be fresh as they were about 6 months ago. I'm giving a 3 star review but not for the muffins- the muffins are great! It's just the sandwich. I got off school one day and I decided to go here and get a sammich- mans gotta have his sammich. I got the turkey sammich or whatever you wanna call it and I was so hungry. I took it to the car and on the way home I took the sandwich out- expecting great quality since the muffins are great and I took one bite. I felt like I bit into a slab of greasy human meat. And by greasy I mean like how your fingers feel after eating Long John Silvers. I spit it out to spare my taste buds from spiraling into a certain taste death. That was the worse thing I've ever tasted. It wasn't even a sammich. That was.. Something else. I decided to eat the muffin to try to get rid of that grotesque taste because the sprite wasn't helping... And... And I tasted nothing but that taste. The muffin didn't taste like muffin. It tasted like that.. That THING! To this day I still attend classes to help with my PTSD that I acquired from that taste. I need to step out. The memories are coming back! read more

This is the worst store in corpus. It's the closest to my house, but I drive the extra miles to go to the other 2 locations. They are always mean at this store, like customers are a nuisance and they want nothing to do with them. Sometimes the muffins at this store taste old too. This is, by far, the WORST my favorite muffin I've ever been to. I say this, because the past 3 visits have been awful. The last visit took the cake. The employee had no clue how to make the protein shake I asked for. It was ruined, and yet she didn't bother to refund my $11 for both protein shakes, or even offer up an apology. I will never visit this location ever again, and will stick with the SPID/Weber location. The owner of the Staples location should take tips and learn how to run a business correctly from the super sweet lady at the SPID/Weber muffin shop. I love My Favorite Muffin and I wish they had some in my area of the state. Apparently the Texas franchise is only in Corpus Christi. I make it a point to come to My Favorite Muffin when I am in this area. The Snickers muffin is incredible. It has tiny chocolate chips in the dough and creamy chocolate pudding in the middle of the muffin. The cafe itself is clean and quiet. The workers are polite and helpful. In addition to muffins, the cafe also has coffee and smoothies. I recommend the French toast latte if you are a fan of flavored coffees. My Favorite Muffin is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or a late-afternoon snack. read more
