First time visit. Thought, good Italian food. Fair prices. Good service. Pleasant atmosphere.

Food was amazing. It was slow for others but we were fortunate to get our plates pretty quickly. We had the Triple Juicy Burger with a fried egg and the Cinnamon Aplle Crisp pancakes. Absolutely delicious. It is a small restaurant so there may be a small wait. read more

The food was great, the waitress was very nice and attentive. If you came to read the reviews before arriving, then what I'm going to say matters. I think people just show up because Dennys is Dennys. From the moment you park, you will see the potholes are coned off by the front door. The entrance floor surface is horrid. Hasn't been washed. Cigarette butts all over, the trash outside is overflowing. When you go inside the place is hot. Their AC went out and they are running on temp back up units they are renting. Ceiling tiles are falling. The wait was long and several families arrived and left. We got there at 9:30am. So no one emptied the trash nor cleaned up the front prior to opening. The outside bench is nasty. This place needs help. read more

The SPID location has horrible service and couldn't even get a salad order right. I had to wait 30 minutes even though I had ordered online. I had to wait for them to cook a piece of chicken. They left off the avacado and egg. I asked about them and he got the avacado but said I had to wait 5 more minutes to cook an egg. I had already been there for 30 minute waiting to pick up my order that should've been ready when I arrived. They need some better employees. read more

After a few good pancake dinners they went and did it. Expecting typical Dennys service this service was absolutely horrible. Then after a few good previous dinners of pancakes this night was completely unacceptably horrible for the price. Way overpriced for ridiculously cooked food. Pancakes were half the size of the serving plate and weirdly shaped thin and rubbery. Eggs were scrambled yet brown and crusty from being overcooked, $3.50 for iced tea and never got a refill. I would like to know who was working on the previous visits that were almost perfect because this was completely unacceptable and not worth $20 for one person. read more

My boyfriend & I stopped here on our way out of Corpus at around 1030 on Sunday. The wait was like 15 mins, and we got sat before then. Our server was Sierra & she did a great job! Shannan was my server and she was so impressive. We never once wanted for anything she is a perfect server. Always attentive without intruding. Drinks were refreshed without asking and she gave updates on the meal preparation. Her smile is genuine and her attitude is infectious. All in all. Although the prices are a bit high for DENNYS I come here because she makes my experience worth it and with service like that price don't matter. Keep up the great work! She should be a manager!!!! We went to Denny's around 11pm and walked in nobody greeted us in the front there was a customer who told us that they let you sit where ever so we went to go sit down by the restrooms but in the front so the will be able to see us. Mind you there's a worker sitting down I guess he was off the clock already and waiting to leave it looked like, he saw us waiting the whole time and didn't even call one of the waitresses to let them know we were there waiting. We are waiting for someone to approach us to get our drinks but we were patient because it looked like there was only 1 or 2 waitresses and it was a little busy so me and my partner were talking. So 20 mins passed and nobody still hadn't greeted us so we just left. Very unprofessional and upsetting we were hungry. So we just got up and left. read more

Bought the American Grilled Double Burger, with seasoned fries. Very little fries, told the waitress BRANDY when she brought the dish, she told the cook... he argued with her about it. WE NEVER GOT OUR FRIES.. Wife was half done eating GRILLED HADDOCK, when a drain nat flew on her dish. My wife insist not to complain about it. Brandy's service was really slow also. This location on SPID has such a good stage, and the cooks know what an over medium fried egg is supposed to look like, which makes me super happy. Our server Sara was very intuitive and did a wonderful job, even making a more cost effective recommendation for my order. I also noticed that she never allowed a new customer that walked in wait more then a few seconds before greeting them and assuring that someone would be right there to get them seated. I had the Banana berry pancake platter, and it was delicious, my husband had a slam with cheesy eggs, sausage, and pancakes. We both were very satisfied, and that is why This Denny's will be on our regular rotation when we come to Corpus Christie twice a year. read more

I want to start by saying a wrote this review before I even got my food. This review is about a amazing waitress named Lucy!! It was raining really hard and as we ran to the door we got a little wet. Lucy came to the table and said "you want coffee " like she new and then set down a stack of paper towel with a big smile and said these should help as water dripped from our heads. Then when's she asked what we want I said the usual mind you this is my first time at this location she like she had waited on me a 100 times "lumberjacks slam" another smile. This place is disturbing. Unbelievable anyone would want to work in these conditions. Floors don't look like they have been cleaned in weeks. You can see the grease being tracked outside on the concrete. Just plain gross, the management can't be much. read more

Had the opportunity to be served by Millie the waitress here at this location. She was very professional very friendly. She went above and beyond held great conversations with us while we were waiting for our food she saw that we were getting anxious, and that we were a little perturbed that our food wasn't there yet She proclaimed to say that I apologize she made sure that our drinks were full until our food finally came out. It did take a while to get served due to the fact that they only had one cook at the time, but the atmosphere, and the environment was very welcoming and she went above again above and beyond With making us feel comfortable knowing that we were a little frustrated she did give us great great service we had an opportunity to meet with the new general manager chatted with him for a little bit. He seems to be great. Has plans to turn everything around getting things back on track, we mentioned the service From a previous experience we had at a different location told him what was going on and he did say that he was training the new manager for that location in the near future and he said that was some good information that was given to us so and he did say that that location does have a small issue With staffing and service and they plan to address it but this location here in corpus on SPD. Once again, Millie was exceptional. Wish I remembered the name of the general manager very friendly, very professional. We enjoy coming to this location though that we have to drive by one in Portland Texas but this one is pretty good. read more
