This place is lacking luster. It's a terrible lime green color for starts but also seems old and dated. A refresh / revamp is overdue. Took my children here for a session and they ended up getting terribly sick. I should've known they didn't clean or sanitize just from the looks of it. Unfortunate really. The workers are nice but I didn't find this to be the best option for us. Hopefully they start to take cleanliness and sanitation more seriously. Will check out other similar places! read more

It starts with circle time, then free play, group obstacle course, free play, then end with circle time. 10-22-2023 Attended a 3 year old birthday party here. The play area has several pieces of gym equipment, balance beam, slides, small ball pit, a zip line, a climbing ladder, trampoline and more. All the little kids had fun. The hour and a half party time just flew by. They had two Halloween blowups on opposite ends of the room and small plastic pumpkins dangling from some of the equipment. The party had two hosts who were completely in control and organized. The kids had free play time in the beginning as kids were still showing up. The party officially started and the hosts began the planned activities which did involve moving some of the gym equipment around but the two worked together and the activities were perfectly timed. The hosts had a tablet to control the sound system for the music. These two kept the kids engaged and safe from start to finish. I believe the zip line was the party favorite. Great acknowledgment of the birthday child throughout the party including a game of hide and go seek that kept the party kids occupied, while the birthday child slipped away to have an outfit change into her princess dress. After the playtime portion is over you move to the front entryway where it is set up for the food/cake portion. With 1 to 2 adults per child it did get crowded for that portion. They even had the frozen theme table decorations. Overall a wonderful party! Be sure to bring socks or you can purchase there. They are required for the play area. read more

My niece's 2 year old birthday party was here! It was awesome (even though she slept like the first half of it). Her friends had fun though so that was good. It's very spacious surprisingly and our instructors Dallas and Brittany was awesome! Dallas was very interactive, kept the kids on schedule and really spoke to them like they were her friends, not just some little kids! The kids had a lot of fun because they were all shoving food down their throat after playing. They have ball pits, trampoline, zip-line, slides, etc you name it! Good music choice too. My kids have been on & off taking classes and attending events at this location for 5.5 years. We have always enjoyed the classes, parent drop off events and holiday events- they are structured, inclusive, well organized and fun for all. In February 2022 we decided to have my son's 2's birthday here. It was 1.5 hours and essentially a mini class just for our party. We had a range of kids from 10 months to 6.5 years old and every single one had an amazing time. We were able to have the entire gym to ourselves for the party with 2 party hosts. We were able to customize the party by requesting certain activities, music my son likes as well as dropping off party plates/napkins/table clothes the day before. The day of the party we brought juice, party favors and cupcakes. During the party everything was handled by the party hosts, I didn't have to do anything. We were so impressed with the hosts and the structure of the party. My family and our friends keep talking about how fun it was and how they want to go back! My son has SOOO much energy! We have been looking for places to burn it off and My Gym - Frisco is the perfect place! We love to do the drop in visits during the evenings and early morning weekends. Love that their schedule is flexible as some weekends we are out of town. Location is very central near Main St and the tollway right near FRISCO Square. We have not had any issues with parking although there are a lot of businesses nearby so it can get crowded. Mr. Dylan and the other teachers are great. They somehow are able to remember most of the kiddos' name and are very active with the kids. I like how every single class they are able to keep the kids engaged and even during free play with the changing of activities. What I love most is the way the classes are set up -- warm up, dancing and songs, games, free play, separation time, story time, and then a goodbye song. My son absolutely loves this place and gets so excited when I tell him we are going to the gym. Our family highly recommends this place! PS - They recently made some renovations and they now have an even larger gym area for the kiddos to play in. read more

Honestly, it exceeded my expectations! We just went to our first parent-child class and it was so much fun, even for parents! We had been going to the library classes at Frisco Public Library, but they do too much sitting and singing and the tots get restless. This is so much better. They have lots of hands-on activities, movement exercises, and of course crawling and climbing they can do. The staff and other parents made us feel really welcome. We aren't going to waste our time at the library classes anymore and we're getting a membership here. Love this place. It has been a great experience for my toddler. We have really seen her develop here in the 6 months she has been attending. I have been both to the classes and open gyms. They are always welcoming, even for additional guests like when my parents came to town and wanted to attend with their grandchild. They play fun music, and are very upbeat. I like the new location even more than the old one on Lebanon. Parking is tough and sometimes the open gym is crowded, but never unsafe. read more

We've been members of My Gym now for almost 3 years. Our oldest started at Gymboree and we can say, without a doubt, that My Gym as helped her grow so much! When she enrolled in the Preschool Prep class, we couldn't believe the progress she made and her first year at school, her teacher advised us that she was ahead of many of her classmates. I knew we made the decision to keep her signed up here. Now that we have our youngest enrolled, I cannot wait to see the growth she makes. We've had birthday parties here and have met forever friends. (Our oldest met her bestie here!) All the instructors are awesome, both of our girls just adore Ms. Morgan, they ask about her a lot. Ms. Addie is the best and very understanding when we need to make-up a class. Any of these negative comments are further from the truth. The structured classes prepare the kids for grade school, the different activities stimulate their minds, who would be upset at that? Thank you for helping to mold Ro into a bright young lady and I cannot wait to enroll AJ in Preschool Prep! Counting down the days! Oh, did I mentioned the Parents Nighy Out (PNO)? I'm giving it two stars because the place is pretty cool. But we went in for our free trial class and weren't even acknowledged. The people working there didn't give us any instructions upon arrival. I received an email when I booked the class but the instructions weren't helpful once we actually got there, and then when my son was trying to get acclimated we were ignored and it all felt very cliquey. Maybe all those people have been coming since their kids were tiny (my son is 2) but my kid had never been to anything like that and it would've been nice to feel welcome or at the very least included. read more

Our son loves My Gym! He's been attending the preschool prep class for the last year. Gym day is his favorite day of the week. We decided to have his third birthday party at My Gym. The Coaches took care of everything for us. The decorations looked awesome and turned out exactly as we were hoping. Both Coaches had great attitudes and did a good job of keeping us informed of what was going to happen next. Just checked out My Gym with my 2 year old son at the Frisco location yesterday. We were excited to try-out the Tuesday 4:30PM class for his age group that is a "Mommy and Me". The class is 1 hour long and the only requirement is "shoes off". It was a free class for the first time visit. The facility is very clean and welcoming. My son could not wait to start playing with the trampolines, giant ball pit, and jungle gym. I noticed a count of 10 children with 2 female instructors. 8 little girls were in this class and 2 little boys (1 being my son). The class starts out with a "circle time" where the kids have their "warm up" together with Mom and instructors. There is upbeat music and you can see the excitement in all the eyes of these 2 year olds eager to play and learn. I could not believe how much was fit into just a 1-hour visit! There was dancing, skills, games, and a puppet show. The skills learned this class: Balance beam: (Instructor Guided) Your kiddo walks across the beam, does "stork" stance in the middle, and continues walking as they hold the instructors hands. My son loved this and ended with a "Ta-daa!" Rings: (Instructor Guided) Rings are hanging from the ceiling about 5 feet off the ground. Your kid is picked up by the instructor and swings from ring to ring. They are directed to let go of one ring and grab onto the next. Very fun. My son exclaimed he was Tarzan after his turn. Other skills: Balancing bean bags on their heads, listening skills, frog jumps. Over all a very great experience. SO much was fit into just one class.. but it flowed nicely and we had just enough time for the kids to learn something and move onto the next thing. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is the price for a membership. And I am still not completely understanding why they are charging what they do.. -First you pay around $70 for a "Lifetime" membership.. which is cut in 1/2 if you sign up in 24 hours. So, $30 something which they claim you never pay again. -Then you have to pay $70-somthing monthly. (NOT cut in half..that is your membership fee). Which makes each class around $20.. once a week class for 1 hour. Also members, there is "open gym" which is a couple times a week you can bring your kid to the open gym and play during those open gym times. Thats nice. But, again, that brings me back to what the "Lifetime" means if you are paying monthly for a 1 day a week class.. And the instructors really did not do a great job of explaining this. I also do not appreciate businesses giving a 24-hour incentive pressured to get your "Lifetime" deal 50% off. Especially when I really still don't know what a "Lifetime" is.. Hmm.. My son will not use a "Lifetime" membership. He will grow-up and move onto sports and other things right? One instructor laughed saying "He can come back when he is 80 years old". Really? Ha. Ok. So if you can afford it, I would recommend the My Gym. It seems like a nice place and fun for kids. read more

My previous review details our great experience taking classes at My Gym; this review is based on our experience throwing a birthday party for a three-year-old. One word: fantastic!! Their prices are extremely reasonable for what you get (which is a LOT). You can book your party online (super easy) and make all the arrangements via email if you'd like (which for me is ideal because having a phone conversation with a toddler screaming in the background can be, um, challenging). Package prices are based on the number of children attending. My Gym provides everything: set up/clean up, decor, paper goods, and two teachers who literally run the show so you can just sit back and relax. I honestly just had to bring food and drinks in for my adult guests, ordered a couple of cheese pizzas through My Gym for the kids (you can't order outside pizza), then just let the staff handle everything else. They even serve the food and cake to the kids. Easy peasy. The party itself was a BLAST and very well-organized. They tailor the activities to your child. My kid abhors circle time, so they minimized the amount of circle time activities per my request. The teachers told me what to do and when to do it. They provided a great variety of activities for the kids. They were professional and enthusiastic. And they made my child feel special with lots and lots of "happy birthday" cheers and special rides just for her. She got to ride in on a big toy motorcycle at the beginning of the party. It was pretty dang cool. They offer theme packages for an additional $50, and I got the Minnie Mouse package (honestly not expecting much) and it was beautiful. I couldn't have decorated it that adorably myself. I added on face painting for $20 (the teachers do it with a stencil kit) and it was another cute activity. If you really want to minimize the work you have to do, you can add on sheet cake and party favors and juice for the kids and call it a day. Doesn't get better than that! I'd highly recommend My Gym for a birthday party. It was absolutely perfect for an active bunch of three-year-olds. read more

My 2 year old and I attended the "Gymsters" class on a rainy Wednesday mid morning! This was our first class- free trial class that My Gym offers to see if their program would be something your child would enjoy. And I have to say my 2 year old had a blast!! The 45 minute gym class kept her engaged with age appropriate gym skills, story and circle time activities, free play, and music. The play equipment and carpet looked clean and in great condition. The ball pit and the slide were her favorite parts of the class! The monthly membership offers a weekly class and a few times a month of unlimited play, and parents night out. Discounts are also available on merch and birthday parties. The teachers were friendly and patient!! Toddlers don't have the longest attention span and the teachers keep the structured activities short and sweet. I enjoyed being able to let my little one explore in a safe environment. After class everyone used hand sanitizer and washed hands before leaving, which I appreciated giving its flu season. We will definitely be signing up for a membership and taking advantage of all My Gym has to offer. read more

We tried a free class and will not be signing up nor ever recommend this place to anyone else. The place seemed dirty and dingy, equipment looked like it had seen better days. The class was very crowded and there was not enough room for everyone in the circle during "circle time" and it was very hard to maneuver around because it was so crowded. The teachers were not very engaging during the free play and there wasn't a lot of direction given to us considering this was our first class. Save yourself some time and find another place to take your kiddos like The Little Gym or Gymboree. read more

I had my daughter enrolled in the classes for a month and just had her 2nd birthday here . I decided to have it here because of the instructors and interaction and activities shared between parents and kids. Sadly, I didn't think it through and planned it during my daughter's nap time and she was asleep for a majority of her party and woke up when it was time to sing Happy birthday and eat. She wanted to go back and play but the time was cut off. Sadly, an hour for open play for the kids and activities was so short. The kids and parents all told me they enjoyed it and the kids didn't want to leave. So you know this is a hot spot to have a party for your little ones. read more

We have been a My Gym family for the past 6 years, being parents to three little girls who are 7 and under. We are a military family, so our first experience with My Gym was in San Diego. We enrolled our oldest daughter in classes as a toddler, and loved it so much that when our second daughter we born, we enrolled her as well. After my husband deployed overseas after giving birth to our third daughter, I moved back home to Plano and was so happy that there was a My Gym here that my girls could still enjoy. My middle daughter attended classes after our move, and the familiar environment and the curriculum (same music, games, exercises) that she was used to made the transition so easy. As a military spouse, I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for the opportunities My Gym has given me for respite- they offer camps that are age-appropriate (a better option for me than sending my younger daughters to a gymnastics gym where the kids are much older) in addition to monthly Parents' Night Out in a safe environment. The instructors make it a point to know every child's name right away, and do a great job structuring the class appropriately, engaging the children to work on a variety of skills, and allowing the children the opportunity to explore and play independently. The instructors follow a new lesson plan every week. Our girls love the instructors (especially Ms. Ariel and Ms. Addie!) and every time they go to My Gym, it's like home away from home for them. I enrolled my 3rd daughter in My Gym as soon as she began to walk and she has loved every moment of her classes, and we were very pleased to have her 2nd birthday party at My Gym. My son has been going to My Gym for over 2 years (since about 8 months old). The skills and confidence he has gained from his classes at My Gym are amazing. He loves the ball pit, slides, and swings, not to mention "surprise time" and the songs and dancing!! He is almost 3 and we have visited a lot of facilities geared toward smaller children. I have to say, I have not found a facility that is as clean and as well staffed as My Gym. The staff is one of a kind and truly have a heart for children, their needs and development. I have had several friends try the free class and inevitably fall in love with the gym too!! Not only do we attend weekly classes, but my son loves to go to the open play, and we had his second birthday party there. Oh if all parties could be as low maintenance and stress free as that one was. The staff took care of everything we just supplied paper goods and cupcakes and showed up! It was so great to be able to focus on our son and let someone else take care of the rest!! I am so happy my neighbor introduced is to My Gym! This is a fabulous place for kids! We've done classes, parents night out, and hosted a birthday party - loved them all. What stands out is how much the staff really likes kids, they like their jobs, they're friendly and energetic. It's a very busy place - new games, they change the layout often, play fun music. They always remember my kids' names and are very engaging, able to stay on top of or redirect behavior with kindness or humor. It's just a great vibe. I was not impressed with the instructors. You can tell that they do not love what they do and are employed there just for their paycheck. Both instructors showed little patience with the kids when the kids asked them questions and when they kids did not follow their routing exactly as they said. I caught one of the instructors rolling her eyes about 3 times. And I noticed this behavior with multiple kids. It's possible that both instructors happened to be having a bad day, but to take it out on the kids, it's absolutely unacceptable. Especially for the super high fees they ask to be paid. Both instructors looked very tired and as though being in that place and interacting with the kids with the last thing they wished they were doing...Bottom line, go somewhere else. I did the free trial and will not be enrolling. Oh I forgot to say, I did a trial on both the Whiz Kidz and Terrific Tots. The same attitude was shown on both classes. read more

My son went to MyGym for nearly a year. He loved every week when we would walk through the doors and the staff always called him by name. It is obvious that the staff love what they do and are invested in the kids. We recently had my son's 2nd birthday party there and it was the easy and seamless. MY GYM in Frisco is awesome!! My daughter just had her 2nd birthday party there and it was a HUGE hit!
