I also wish the noodles had more of that smoky wok-char flavor that makes a great Pad See Ew so satisfying. I've also tried the chicken drunken noodles to-go on a previous visit, and they were just average-nothing particularly memorable compared to some of the other dishes. The space itself is beautiful, especially the bar area, which has a great look and atmosphere. That said, the bar counter felt a bit too high, while our table's countertop was noticeably low, making seating a little awkward. You can also never go wrong with the crab fried rice. Overall, the shrimp cake was the highlight of my experience. The food was enjoyable, though I'd personally prefer less sweetness and more wok hei in some of the noodle dishes. Had an amazing experience trying My Home Thai for the first time! I made a reservation for my partner's birthday. There are a few parking lots around that are a convenient walk to the restaurant. The restaurant's interior is beautiful! Very elegant, with upscale touches all around. We had fantastic service and delicious food! Our server was also attentive and kind. The restaurant has an impressive drink and food menu with a variety of options to choose from. The food was truly some of the best Thai food I've tasted in the DMV area. My sister and I went yesterday, monday night, around 7pm for my birthday dinner. There is plenty of space in the attached parking garage and they validate for 2 hours. We were easily seated for two and we had our glasses filled with water promptly. We ordered the curry puffs as an appetizer. The puffs were flaky and the sauce that came with it paired so well with the curry. I ended up getting the panang curry and it was delicious. The only downside for me was the portion of rice it came with. I wish it came with a larger rice portion but I could've ordered another side of rice. From the very first bite, I was hooked. Before I even got to the beef, I was smiling. The noodles alone were that good. A member of the staff stopped by to check on us and asked how everything was. My response? "Perfect." My wife immediately burst out laughing because of how I said it. We've eaten at hundreds of restaurants over the course of our 20 years together and have had some amazing meals. But the level of satisfaction I was experiencing that night was difficult to describe. All I could say was: "Perfect." We didn't even make it halfway through our noodle dishes before we had to throw in the towel. We left with enough leftovers to feed a family of four. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by a friendly staff and got the last available table (we did not have a reservation). It took us a while to go through the huge menu, with multiple themed cocktail pages. We started with the satay appetizer, with a wonderful presentation and even better peanut dipping sauce. All of us love Thai food, and I wanted my friends to try a place they've never been (it was my first time, too) and give them a wonderful lasting impression of Falls Church and the rich culinary offerings here. I left super impressed. The appetizers (the sun-dried fire bites and spring rolls) with the accompanying sauces were made to perfection and the spicy basil (ka-pow) I ordered was the best version I've ever had. All of the flavor notes had a party in my mouth! The menu is extensive with options to suit anyone's fancy, including options suited for kiddie palates (!), with beautiful pictures that looked just like the dishes. Our server was attentive, accurate, and super congenial and such a pleasure to have! I soaked in the gorgeous ambiance, which was calm and sophisticated art deco. I love the lighting fixtures, the crisp TV monitor at the bar, the comfortable seating booths, no loud or distracting music...it was a feast for the eyes AND stomach! This is the restaurant I would choose to have a business lunch/meeting, especially if we were discussing a promotion or job opportunity! I left happily full, with very happy memories. Had an amazing experience. Service at bar was great. Ordered the Panang curry which was delicious as well as a good portion size.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I love Thai food and My Home Thai is a winner! My boyfriend and I went last night and the service was amazing and everyone was so sweet and attentive especially our server. Also, love the interior it was so cute! The menu offered so much variety it was so hard to choose but we loved everything we got. It was so flavorful. We will be back!! There's also free parking available in the Modera garage. read more

Very nice ambiance and the food was yummy! Dishes run spicy so let the waiter know if you need it mild. Staff is very friendly and validate your parking in the garage; just have your car's license plate number with you. read more
