We came here to celebrate my dad's birthday and had such a great experience! The service was attentive, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with its gold accents and lush pink décor. We started with the Shrimp Pop, which was delicious. The kataifi gave it a great crunch, and the spicy mayo complemented it perfectly. We also ordered the Crispy Whole Fish (we opted for the flounder), and it was one of our favorite dishes. The garlic chili sauce was packed with flavor, and the portion was generous enough to share. The Duck Ka-Pow was another standout. It was crispy, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The Angry (Drunken) Noodles with beef had the perfect amount of spice and were packed with flavor. Every dish we tried was well executed, and we left full and happy.

All I have to say is - wow! The best Thai food I've had by far!! Right when you step in, the aesthetics and decor of the restaurant immediately catch your eye. It's all so well put together and you can tell they put so much thought and details into everything. The menu itself is so gorgeous and it looks like you're looking through a magazine!! The food though - so good!! We got the calamari, crabmeat wok fried rice, drunken noodles and matcha poem. Every single dish was a 10/10. Although pricey, I feel like the food they delivered was worth it. I do also want to give a special shoutout to the matcha poem. Such a beautiful dessert and not too sweet either!

Came here twice already since they opened, love the ambiance and food here! The overall decor is so pretty inside. Weekend gets very packed so highly suggest you call them to make reservations. There's a garage around the corner--free parking as long as you get it validated within 20 mins. Food is AMAZING, everything is well flavored and portions are pretty generous! Highly recommend: Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken Massaman Curry, Crabmeat Wok Rice, Shrimp Pop, and Crispy Whole Fish ($75). The Duck Ka-Pow, Beef Garlic Pepper and Dumplings were good too. The food menus is extensive, there are so many dishes to pick from, it's overwhelming (in a good way)!! Same goes with cocktails, there are so many options--the bartender Philip makes really yummy drinks, especially the Lychee Martini. For desserts, both Mango Sticky Rice and Thai Tea Snow Bliss were delicious! Will definitely be back!!

Started with the shrimp cake, which was a standout. The textured flakes sprinkled on top added an extra layer of crunch, and the aioli with tomatoes and green onions had a flavorful kick that kept me coming back for more. I couldn't stop dipping! The dumplings app is the same one you get at every Thai resto, and the larb gai was decent but didn't particularly stand out. I got the strawberry smoothie, which was good but a little too sweet for my taste. The better drink was the iced matcha green tea latte. The Spicy Basil Chicken (KaPow) was good, but sweeter than I expected. I ordered it medium spicy, and while it had some heat, I definitely could've handled more spice. For the Pad See Ew with seafood, I asked for extra spice and it ended up being the perfect level of heat. The seafood was well-cooked, but the sauce leaned a little too sweet for my taste. I also wish the noodles had more of that smoky wok-char flavor that makes a great Pad See Ew so satisfying. I've also tried the chicken drunken noodles to-go on a previous visit, and they were just average-nothing particularly memorable compared to some of the other dishes. The space itself is beautiful, especially the bar area, which has a great look and atmosphere. That said, the bar counter felt a bit too high, while our table's countertop was noticeably low, making seating a little awkward. You can also never go wrong with the crab fried rice. Overall, the shrimp cake was the highlight of my experience. The food was enjoyable, though I'd personally prefer less sweetness and more wok hei in some of the noodle dishes. I'd still come back to try more items from the menu.

Had an amazing experience trying My Home Thai for the first time! I made a reservation for my partner's birthday. There are a few parking lots around that are a convenient walk to the restaurant. The restaurant's interior is beautiful! Very elegant, with upscale touches all around. We had fantastic service and delicious food! Our server was also attentive and kind. The restaurant has an impressive drink and food menu with a variety of options to choose from. The food was truly some of the best Thai food I've tasted in the DMV area. We tried the lamb and lobster entree, and both meats were cooked to perfection. We also had the street chicken noodles which were smoky and delicious, with such an interesting texture from the fried egg pieces on top. The restaurant brought out a complimentary dessert for my partner's birthday and we also tried the matcha parfait, which was beautifully made and so yummy. Can't wait to go back again!!

My husband and I came in on Wednesday evening and the place was packed -- which honestly told us everything we needed to know. It just kept getting busier, and you could tell everyone was loving their food. We sat at the bar and ordered the Pad Thai and curry, and both were absolutely delicious. The menu is incredible, and I love that it includes photos of the dishes. The drinks were fun, creative, and so good. Kevin was especially friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. We will definitely be coming back. The service, ambiance, and food were all absolute perfection.

Elegant Thai restaurant. I ordered the lobster fried rice. Good flavors and portions. I do think there could been a little more lobster in it though. While the food and service is good, the prices and a little higher compared to other Thai restaurants, especially with the drinks. Other than that, I did enjoy my experience here.

tl;dr: A new My Home Thai Bistro location in Falls Church serving up their delicious Thai dishes. My Home Thai Bistro started with restaurants in Ashburn and Reston, and now they've opened a new location in Falls Church. While this location isn't quite as Instagrammable as the Ashburn location (not that it matters), the food and aesthetics here still shines. Food: - Thai Iced Tea - Strong tea flavor, but is also creamy. - Chicken Satay - Grilled chicken with a peanut dipping sauce and a cucumber dipping sauce. - Green Curry - I ordered mine with chicken and medium spicy. It was just the right amount of spiciness. - Quack Quack Noodle Soup - The star of the night! Delicious crispy duck served in a duck broth with noodles. Vibes: Warm and inviting. Service: Friendly; checking in frequently to see if I needed anything. Parking: Free validated parking in the parking garage nearby.

Falls Church genuinely needed a Thai restaurant at this level, and My Home Thai delivers on the food and atmosphere. The interior is beautiful -- a real design effort, with a pretty bar that I hope gets the attention it deserves in this market. The food is good. Better than most of what's around, and that counts for something. That said, the pricing is hard to overlook. Portions feel small for the cost, and the lunch special is underwhelming -- soup is an add-on, which at this price point shouldn't be the case. Parking is also a friction point; it's not free, which adds up for a casual weeknight dinner. Service was competent and professional. Here's my honest dilemma: the food is good and the space is genuinely nice, but Northern Virginia is loaded with excellent Thai options -- many of them easier to get to and easier on the wallet. Until the value equation improves, it's a tough sell over the neighbors.

Stopped by for dinner because we really wanted thai food. We were very pleasantly surprised w this place! The service was great! The food: Calamari Appetizer-- 6/10 , the calamari tasted weirdly artificial & the breaking was like funnel cake dough Quack Quack soup -- 10/10 Eggplant lover w shrimp -- 10/10 Drinks: The Sun -- 8.5/10 The Saturn -- 5/10 The overall ambiance is great, they have a couple tvs & a beautiful bar. I'm giving four stars instead of five because the calamari was not fresh & the saturn drinks tasted like cough syrup.

We always had a good experience at the Reston location so we were excited to try the Falls Church location after we heard of their recent grand opening! - Lemongrass [Tom Yum] Soup - Grilled Salmon Salad -- loved the special sauce - Spicy Basil [Ka-Pow] -- added chicken + medium spice level - Pineapple Fried Rice I loved the interior decor especially all the pink accents giving cute and modern vibes at the same time! As for the food, we didn't expect salmon to taste so well with salad. Ka Pow is my go-to dish so I was satisfied that they made it perfectly with a hint of spice! Our server Alice was amazing; so kind and kept checking on us that made the dining experience truly memorable!

This new restaurant is beautiful and they nailed every detail, right down to the utensils! My fav out of the 5 we ordered was the Home luxe lamb and lobster (spiny lobster). The portions are big and could almost feed two people. Only down side of this dish was the brown riceberry rice, I'm sure it's healthier but it tasted so much better with the white jasmine rice. In fact, most of the dishes come with a decent amount of food. The servers were very nice and attentive. It was a wonderful first experience! The only tiny downside is that they did not have green jalapeños available in the spice tray which is my go to at thai restaurants.

Absolutely phenomenal dinner at My Home Thai - so glad they opened this new location in Falls Church, Virginia after their other location around Reston. If I could give six stars, I would ! The interior first of all is gorgeous so inviting , comfortable, clean. And now let's talk food! We had the bacon scallops, the chicken satay, duck roll, tofu cubes and won ka bites (crab and cream cheese) as starters. The chicken satay and the duck roll was my favorite. I would order them again in a heartbeat. For our main, we got the crab meat fried rice, the pad Thai with shrimp and the Massaman curry w beef! ORDER THEIR PAD THAI - I love Thai food and eat a lot, and this might be my favorite pad thai that I've ever had! The curry had good spices and the crab fried rice was chunky and definitely so delicious! We tried to ube mango sticky rice and strawberry cup and both were very balanced in terms of their sweetness. They have one of the most interesting menus that I've seen for drinks - separate sections for your planets and also your sign! We got the Uranus, and Saturn (me and hubby's planets) ! Such an amazing concept! Kevin our manager and our server were delightful! It was packed on a Sunday night as we were leaving around 7:30 PM and I was so happy to see that! Definitely come here for your Thai food cravings! There is parking behind the restaurant in a garage, where they validate your parking at the restaurant when you provide your plate number as soon as you enter the restaurant! Super convenient!! This can be one of my top meals so far this year highly recommended!

I wasn't too hungry when coming in for a late lunch so I didn't get big plates. But I can 100% vouch for everything I ate. The Tom Kha was some of the best I have ever had! A slightly mild soup with chicken and coconut flavors (yummmm). I also ordered the mussels (I did not expect them to come in a broth since the menu says they are steamed) but they were surprisingly spicy and delicious. It came with some housemade chili sauce that was even spicier! There were like 7 mussels. Even though it was so spicy, the flavors were delicious so I bared through the spicy sauce. I ordered jasmine tea and it came as a packet of the jasmine tea with hot water. I would've loved it to be brewed loose leaf but that's ok. Overall, this place was delicious, and it was so cute! The decor inside doesn't give "Thai" but it's absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. There is a lot of seating as well and a whole parking lot.

The fried catfish were nicely fried with a perfect coating. Definitely a dish to get. The pork shoulder is another dish to get. Nicely seasoned with sticky rice. Their version of pad thai is uniquely different than Thai. A bit more sweet but the lime makes it better. Wife wanted to try bua loy dessert. It is a warm sweet dessert that balanced out all the salty flavors of the dishes. Something to try as well. Flavor are still the same. The dishes we order were too much for 2 of us.
