I asked for round with square edges for THREE YEARS. Always ended up with SQUARE, with rounded edges. The husband is a great guy he just never ever got my shape right so I had to stop going. Also his wife is loud and obnoxious and it makes for an annoying experience versus relaxing. Their prices are reasonable but I don't want to spend my hard earned money for the wrong shape and awful ambiance the wife creates. And no matter what you say to her you are always wrong and it's your fault. Literally three years....and I always tipped like 30-50%. I could have dealt with the husband maybe drew a picture. I would bring pics with me to show what I wanted. Always got it wrong. Sweet guy though. I feel bad for him. read more

Two stars are for the fantastic supreme pedicure I received my first visit , The nail technician was sweet and thorough. The service was intermingled with the extremely loud opinions of the owner and her criticisms . I did decide to forgive the loud shouting opinions and see if it could get better, I was desperate in a new small town . I set another appointment for a full set of dip nails that cracked, chipped & lifted all with in two weeks they were all gone . One last try another nail dip with pedi . The owner calmed but watched videos on iPad both appointments! Day two nail chipped, day 3 nail chipped , Day 4 entire dip nail Ripped off my Nail bed along with many layers which had been severe because of the weeks prior and the dip nails coming off due to intense lifting & breakage . My nail beds are in critical care now ,thin in spotted areas , uncomfortable and painful. Recommendation: caution. 1 year previous nail dip experience at multiple nail spas . Sooooo.... I cant say much for their services because I was so turned off by the way I was spoken to when I was greeted. "Walk-in's Welcome" but when I walked in I could see there were more customers than nail techs. I figured there be a wait. The person at the front desk immediately stated "how may I help you?" No "hello"... no eye contact. When I asked if I could have a pedicure she sighed, rolled her eyes and stated "there are three pedicures ahead of you and they have appointments ". I said thank you and left. I will cough this up to the fact that there must be new management as it is now called "My Nails". I've been going to My to get my nails done since 2007. She has always understood not just what I wanted, but also what will look best. I will not trust anyone else with my eyebrows, and pedicures with the staff are excellent and very relaxing. I love that she has moved to Wesley Chapel, closer to my house! You guys rock :-) The salon is fresh and new, they have two big flatscreen television sets to watch, and the pedicure chairs give excellent massages. I love that the staff treats you like family. I watched someone bring up a concern to the owners and they were quick to come up with a solution and they left happy and laughing. Update: I just got married on May 1, and there is absolute no one else I trusted to get my wedding nails perfect. I am new to Wesley Chapel and had told the manicurist I am not familiar to the area and looking for a place to get my nails done regularly . So she had the opportunity to gain a new customer that would become a regular. Well this was the worst gel manicure I have ever had. She was very rough pushing my cuticles and actually nipped my skin so that it bled. It was so rushed and she never even put any cream on my hands or massage them which is something that is always done. When I left my nails were getting caught on my clothing they we so ragged and I even had polish on my skin. Worst part is I think she was the owners wife Needless to say I will never return wish I could give 0 stars.....terrible!!! read more

I just finished getting a mani pedi at this shop and had a wonderful experience. There was no wait and I was seen immediately. The person doing my pedicure was gentle and patient even though I was a bit ticklish. I picked a holographic nail polish which turned out great, but there was one nail with a little error, which my nail artist fixed immediately without complaint. She is caring and talented and I have never had a bad moment here. I have my nails and toes done along with eyelash extensions. Once or twice had to go elsewhere as was out of town. I decided to come here to get acrylics for the first time. I'm not a nail expert, but he didn't even push my cuticles back. I asked for coffin shaped, and was given square shaped. He left my nails jagged underneath and there are at least 5 bubbles in my gel nail polish. He got the polish on my fingers and cured it on there as well. The nails are way thicker than acrylics should be and uneven. The drill bits for his dremel looked old and beaten up as well. read more

This was horrible just terrible time. I went to get a Pedi for my birthday this past Monday, I am tall so I asked to have the seat back the nail tech insisted I keep my chair pulled close to accomdate her, I asked her if she was comfortable she said Yes, I said well I'm not but guess she did not care. The water was cold in the tub. She cut me twice and filed so hard. I kept pulling back when it hurt she did not even acknowledge me. The worst gross part a baby roach crawled on me I jumped and slung it off me, again she acted like she did not notice. Then 2 and 3 more crawled out onto me from the chair I was sitting in (1st chair left side of room) I finally screamed and told her look at them crawling she got up got a towel for my legs and picked up the roach with a cotten ball like it was the norm. I am now sitting in the edge of the chair purse hugged tight to my chest because I'm afraid of bugs crawling in my purse. I was stuck because half my nails are done. The moment she finished I got up and checked out. She had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to stay and let them dry. NO THANKS I WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL ONLY TELL EVERYONE MY NIGHTMARE. The nail techs were constantly messing around with each other by pulling on each other or grabbing stuff from each other. Then my nail tech clipped the corner of my nail and yanked it. Do not come here. It's a waste of money. I came in for a gel manicure that was rushed through and done in 10 mins. My cuticles weren't pushed back or cut. She took maybe a 30 seconds to file and buff my nails. She painted them so fast they were barely under the lamp to set. Also, no hand massage. It cost me 30 dollars! Do not come here if you want a relaxing experience. the first time I came here, my experience was amazing! there was a very personable and charming lady sitting right up front greeting and talking to customers. There was a guy who did my nails that had very short to no hair.while he was quiet, he did the best job on my nails that I've ever had done. over 2 weeks later,they looked pristine and not one was lifting! I was so impressed! I thought for sure I had found my new nail place. ha! was I wrong. I came today to get my nails filled and wanted to treat myself to a pedicure. worst pedicure ever. if it lasted 30 minutes I would be surprised. there was zero massage and let's be honest, that is the best part. she lightly rubbed the lotion in and then didn't finish getting it all rubbed in. I kept thinking it will get better. nope. i could have easily done what she did at home and not have to pay gor it.next for my nails where I had to ask Julie to not be so rough with the drill because it hurt and she was not paying attention to the jerks of my hand or the ouches coming from me. then heaven forbid I asked her to make the white of my nails not crazy thick. let's just say that every nail has a different width of white. normally while filing, most techs compare nails, she didn't. I got to the point where I was done and just wanted it to be over with. the unpleasant, smells like urine atmosphere where the people who worked looked miserable and more considered with their phones (the lady that did my pedi) I will definitely never be back. they have a punch card as a loyalty program and when Julie rang me up she didn't even flinch when i said I didn't want my punched. you would think that along with my frown that something is wrong. read more
