I've had the distinct pleasure of working with Andre C. for nearly three years on all my suit and shirt needs. To-date, I've gone to Andre for three two-piece suits (two single breasted and one double breasted), one three-piece suit, one sport coat, one tuxedo, and a handful of dress shirts. I've been satisfied with the quality of every product I've purchased but the most noteworthy (x-)factor that keeps me coming back to My.Suit and Andre is the level of customer service and attention he provides. For my very first visit to My.Suit years ago, I booked an appointment online and walked up to the first person I saw who was not already working with a customer. Looking back, I consider myself very lucky to have walked up to Andre. In addition to being a very sharp dresser himself, he is highly knowledgeable about the products he offers and thorough when it comes to understanding what the client wants. He combines his knowledge base and work ethic with his keen professionalism and attitude - Andre has never once pressured me into a sale. He always offers his honest opinions when asked and is extremely patient when waiting for my decisions. Every time I return for a new suit / shirt, Andre will always measure and re-measure me (regardless of how recent my last purchase was) to ensure that every thing is perfect. He'll take his time to walk you through every aspect of the suit you're building so that you're absolutely comfortable with what you're purchasing. He'll inspect the final product before it ends up in the customer's hands to ensure that everything is up to standard. He'll do all of this with a smile and a warm handshake to start things off. Frankly, there are now a lot of services in the market that offer bespoke clothing and it's easy to get lost in all their names. I came in to My.Suit with my groomsmen to get everyone outfitted for my wedding. Alfred was very professional and knowledgeable. He helped us go through all the option(of which there were many). The suits came out great and looked perfect. When I had any questions or concerns Alfred was able to address them immediately. Easily the worst customer service ever. I spend a lot on suits and don't mind paying for quality. Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to buy anything due to the fact that they just pointed at things and wanted to not answer any questions. When asked what are your shirts made of? Cotton. I know it's cotton, but as a made to measure locale, gotta be a little bit more specific. Don't point at your shirts and when asked, don't say we don't have wingtip nor pleated shirts. Went to the Herald Sq store today to inquire about tuxes and set up an appt. I was ignored for about 5 min. Then a non-knowledgeable woman tried to help--at least she was nice. Then she asked her co-worker for help and he really couldn't have been bothered. He was rude and dismissive and totally not helpful. This place is totally not up to par with what one would expect from a custom suit experience. The salesman that assisted me was exceedingly incompetent and could not do anything right. I was sorely disappointed by the suit I received and even more so by the service I received. I complained to Richard the manager and he was a total dud and unhelpful. Though he did apologize profusely he did not take any responsibility for the negligence of his employee and would not even offer his assurances that the problem with the tailoring of my suit would be rectified. Fit is good and service is fine. The pants and fabrics deteriorate very quickly. I have 4 suits where the jackets are fine but the pants are destroyed. They literally fall apart at the dry cleaners. read more

I had a good experience until there was a issue with a suit that I ordered, then the store manager and district manager became different people. As long as I was happy, they were happy, but when I was not satisfied with a suit, they became rude and not willing to make good on it. I was told that they will not eat the suit and that it is my fault. How can a custom ordered suit being cut wrong be my fault lol? they told me I was stuck with it and nothing they can do. I was told by the district manager that they don't care if I make one suit or a hundred they are not giving me any extra treatment lol. I made several suits in 3 months, and had various minor issues which could be corrected, but this one cannot, and I have to eat it? The shoulders have large dents in them which cost me $10.00 to try and press out as they recommended at my cost, plus a special trip back to NY from NJ, which with parking, tolls and gas is $100.00, again at my cost, but no courtesy to a good customer. This is why you are better off paying a few dollars more to a personal tailor who does appreciate your business and does not turn his back on you when there is a issue. After this experience, I can never trust them again to make me a suit, because I will have to eat anything that comes out bad because they have them made in Mexico or Korea, as they claim. I can back everything I say with numerous emails between myself, the salesman and management, so whatever they try to reply with to counter this review is bogus. I have sent a complaint with the BBB, Consumer Fraud Bureau Complaint for the State of NY, NBC news, and and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, and I will be suing them also for all my costs now. I asked the district manager, 'wouldn't it be better to save a customer and make him happy, instead of getting a bunch of bad review, and getting sued, he said NO lol. If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, this is certainly a place i would do that for. My then fiance and I were looking for a tan-colored suit to match my dress for an event. After trying several stores with no luck i came across this place in one of my yelp searches and we decided to check it out. It is better to book an appointment as there are only a couple of sales people and they can only work with one person at a time. We worked with Alexis Calero and it was a pleasure. They have several fabrics in different price ranges so it works for whatever range you are looking to spend. We liked the concept a lot and Alexis spent a ton of time finalizing every single customization with us and adding his own suggestions where needed. Our appointment was a bit before the store closing time and by the time we finished it was almost half hour past that but he was so patient and showed no resentment/impatience about having to stay extra that too on a Friday night. They sent us an email confirmation with all the specifics once we were done with the store appointment and when we went to pick it up it was perfect to the last detail and fit very well. This place is awesome!!! if you're a busy hard working profession and hate shopping like myself this is the place for you. The first time you go it takes a little time to get properly measured but it's all well worth it in the end. They keep all of your measurements on file so after the first visit you only need to basically pick out colors and styles. I had ROBERT PREZIOSO as my tailor/stylist and I can't say enough positive things about my experience with him. He really takes his time going through all the different options (which there are plenty of) and has a unique eye for style! I compoletly trust his sense of style and willingness to make sure i get exactly what i am looking for. With NY being such a huge fashion mecca with so many options I think sometimes people tend to overlook the value of amazing customer service. I've spent twice as much money on clothes that don't fit right or are out of style when i thought they were. I've only purchased two suits so far but since meeting Robert and seeing their inventory I wont be going anywhere else from now on! read more

I purchased a suit 6 months ago from the Herald Square location. The fit was great and I considered buying 2 more, before deciding to wait and see how the fabric held up over the next few months (wearing around 2 times a week for work). I'm really glad I did because the fabric came apart near the inseam. The inseam stayed together (barely), but 2 separate holes have appeared right on the outside. I went back to the Herald Square location last night and asked what they can do about this. They said it would be $200 to replace (since the the actual fabric tore and not the inseam). I don't know if they are just stupid or incompetent to try and sell someone on repurchasing pants that can't hold it together for 6 months, but either way their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Essentially, Mysuit is the H&M of suit retailers (without the affordability). It's fast fashion that has the looks and style, but lacks quality. At over $500 a suit...look elsewhere. read more

What kind I say, Andre is a God send. My son needed, not just a suit, but a look for his senior prom. We were referred to Andre by a family friend and we're just so grateful. Our appointment was on a Monday morning and we were there for about two hours. Andre talked to my son and made recommendations based on what he wanted. He helped him through fine details such as button selection down to the inside lining. After all was done, he provided us with an ETA. 3 weeks later we received a reminder about our upcoming appointment, which I loved. When we arrived, and my son tried his suit on, it fit perfectly; I was literally moved to tears. I had already told my son any alterations would need to be done closer to home because I wasn't coming back to the city, but it wasn't even a factor because everything was perfect. We left thanking Andre and thinking we were done... we weren't. My son's date changed her dress last minute so we had to change his neckwear. We emailed Andre, Sunday afternoon btw, and he quickly replied with suggestions. Wow. Just wow. That's what I call full customer service. My son is 17 and he's already talking about Andre being his personal designer, lol. We're just so pleased and so happy with Andre and, not just his expertise, but the personal touch he adds. I'm telling you, if you need a suit made Andre is the man to see. So sorry for the long review but he's worth it. read more
