I have been searching the Mokena/Frankfort area for good Mexican food and I am so glad I found this place! I got take-out here and the food was hot, flavorful, and surpassed my expectations. This will be our go to place from now on for take-out Mexican. If you are looking to dine in, the ambiance is more of a fast-food joint, but the food is worth it. First off, food is immaculate! When I found this place, I actually ate here four times that week (I'm not sorry haha). Second, THE WORKERS ARE AMAZING! They are so so hardworking and always so kind. The beautiful woman at the front counter is always kind and juggles so much but still makes time for conversation! The workers in the back are just as hard working! They deserve the world honestly. Highly recommend it! The prices are great! For two people we spend about $20 for meals and drinks! If you eat in, chips and salsa are free! I love it!! 10/5 stars. read more

Best mexican around. When I lived next to Mexico I became a hard to please person at mexican restaurants away from the border. This place delivers. The price is great. I do suggest ordering pick up because seating is limited but if you can fit in a booth you can eat there easy my family is too big. The tamales are my favorite but the tacos are authentic too. read more

Going up to 3 and a half stars after going back to My Taco yesterday. It was so much better this time and I'm very glad I gave it another shot. I really enjoyed my tacos. Friendly staff still there. Glad the lady that took my order told me how they make their own taco shells. Will definitely go back and try the other items on the menu. Had gone here once before I believe they had just opened for business in this location. It was just ok to me, no flavor really. Rather bland. I was thinking maybe the grill still needed time to get seasoned or something. My sig other wanted to give another chance because the staff was friendly. I resisted until recently someone broke me down. Still just ok. The day we ordered they had a delivery issue and had no avocados to make guacamole. Very disappointing. That was probably the main thing w wanted on the quesadillas. We almost cancelled our order. Not sure if we will return. Looking for some more umph in the food. Something is missing for me. I had a good experience at this restaurant. I enjoyed the food and was satisfied at the same time. Their food is good and definitely authentic. They have a variety of selections on their menu. There are a lot of choices, but I only ordered a taco dinner as well as chips and guacamole. Unfortunately, their chips and guac or even chips and salsa are not complimentary, unlike other Mexican restaurants I've visited where chips and salsa or guac are. It is fine for me since their prices are really reasonable. The taco dinner did not cost me a lot, which was really a good thing. I specifically ordered their steak taco dinner, and I liked it. The tacos were hot and fresh. The seasonings and the flavor were just right, and it really tastes good. The chips and guacamole tasted fresh and good as well. I mean, they are definitely not the best, but for reasonably priced authentic Mexican food, it was definitely a good one. I like this fast food. It is just a small restaurant located in an accessible and convenient location with a lot of parking available. Customer service was also nice. It is a total disservice when businesses close before advertised hours. I went to My Taco at 8:40 to get food and they locked the door before I got out of my car. So rude in my opinion. I was really excited that a new Mexican restaurant was going to be opening up in Frankfort close to my house. So once I realized it was open, I ran right over. The menu is pretty small, but I'm okay with that. It was just me eating tonight, so I only got a carnitas burrito. It was good, but nothing special. The carnitas did not have much flavor, but as someone who only gets Mexican a few times a year, I'm not sure how much flavor it should have, which is why I always have some trouble writing reviews on Mexican food. For the non Mexican lovers, they do have some American offerings as well. Also on the menu was three breakfast items. According to their menu, if you dine in you get a free soup. There is no soup listed on the menu, so I'm not sure of what soup that would be. If you do plan on dining in, there is only four booths. So I would say this is more a place for takeout than dining in. read more
