This is one of my top go to places. I had my birthday here. It is a smaller, intimate space with a good sized but not overly huge menu. The thing is this: it's the FRESHEST Thai food I've had anywhere in the US. You can taste the basil and the coconut in their green curry! If you don't want a whole curry, try it with the "Buddha Dumplings" (chicken or veggie gyoza with green curry over them). I live for their Thai BBQ chicken.. really generous portions of chicken, breast and thigh and leg, in a bowl but it's the dipping sauces that send me! The darker dipping sauce, I could bathe in it! other recommendations: Pad See Ew, Green Papaya Salad, any of the curries, and this wonderful dish I had never seen before, Khao Soy Noodle - wet noodles in what I think is the Musaman curry with meat and veggies and then on top a next of crispy dry noodles for crunchy texture! The parking situation is tough but there are lots and meters around, just need to search if you want to avoid paying for parking. The space is small and cozy. My go to Thai restaurant when I'm home. This little hole in the wall is perfect for some great food, attentive service, and a quiet meal. It's cozy in here and the vibe is super chill. I see people eating alone with a book all the time and it's nice. Definitely a change in the neighborhood restaurant scene. I love their seafood soup and pad thai. Very sad to say this since it seemed like a nice place otherwise. But the level "Spicy" is wayyyyy too mild and bland. It only tasted about as spicy as a light sprinkle of black pepper. I got the red curry as takeout and even with the extra spices I ordered on the side it was still barely a hint of spicy-ness. The food is otherwise alright but accurate spicy levels are so important tend to personally affect how authentic a Thai place seems to me, at least. I would definitely recommend only ordering here if you're gonna dine in so that you can use the spice tray as much as you need. They only give you a tiny container if you order extra spice on the side. And if you do order takeout and ask for it in your order notes they may not read them so best to ask again when you pick up read more

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would. My experience just keeps going downhill even at home! First the service, the server that they had present this afternoon was not very friendly. She kept having this annoyed face and looking at me and it made me feel so uncomfortable that I almost left but I was really hungry and had already placed my order. Food came, first bite was a burst of flavor, not bad but then it became salty. There were also some bites that I took where I was getting a weird texture but I'm assuming it was the garlic in my garlic shrimp fried rice. I really don't know. Then the Thai coffee... I'm sorry but it was disgusting, so much so that I was going to add the complimentary water to it but that was NASTY toooooo!!!! It was straight from a faucet... NO FILTER! So that didn't work. After I finished eating I ordered a mango sticky rice to go. Those 3 items plus a $5 tip and $5 for valet and tip was a hefty and quick $50 solo date that I wish I did NOT spend. I came here because it was close to my acupuncture and physical therapy and the reviews were pretty decent! I felt bold enough to actually ask if I could exchange the coffee for the tea because it was inedible and she told me know she couldn't do that and offered me a sample of the tea and it was actually really good but I wasn't willing to pay another dollar after spending so much already. So about 10 minutes ago I went to heat up my mango and sticky rice and the rice was extremely hard even after sprinkling it with water so I turn it over and break it up and I see a cluster of brown things that I assume are sesame seeds and that's when I notice some fu@king LARVAE of some sort. I wanted to GAGGGGGG because now it makes me wonder about some of the odd textured stuff in my rice! I threw the whole thing away! Literally money in the damn trash! I'm so pissed and furthermore DISGUSTED! I didn't even have my glasses on and could see the ridges in the larvae body and it looks like it was toasted with the sesame seeds... I don't know but it's pretty damn disgusting! Found this Thai restaurant through Yelp. I ordered the eggplant tofu, crispy pork garlic noodle, ginger scallop, and imperial rolls. Also, ordered the Thai tea and pink milk. The food overall was full of flavor. Wish the tofu was fried in the eggplant but it was good regardless the tofu soaked up the sauce. The scallop and garlic noodles were good as well. Skip the pink milk, it tastes like strawberry Nesquik. The imperial rolls were a pass as well. It's just fried shrimp with some cream cheese. The was a parking lot on Catalina that allowed us to park for free for pickup. The food was tad pricy but overall it was good. read more

Parking is street or there's a valet garage behind it for a few dollars. Inside has dinner lighting which is nice and is a bit narrow so can be busy. The spicy fried rice with beef was really good, can taste the basil and seasoning mix so well. I could tell their meat quality was better than most Asian beef rice dishes. This place has the BEST vegan Thai food in Los Angeles. Parking is madness on the street so you have to use the building adjacent to it and it. The food is delicious! The vegan soy orange chicken tastes better than the orange chicken at &Panda Express. So if you're not vegan, please try their stuff!! The Tom kha soup is absolutely flavorful. My friends and I decided to give this place a try for lunch since we lived less than a 10 min walk away. This is a pretty solid thai place with good menu variety. I normally look for the khao soi dish (not a lot of Thai restaurants have this), which is a Chiang Mai specialty, so I had to give this restaurant a try. During my visit, I ordered the khao soi dish, and it was pretty well seasoned. Just the perfect amount of spice, crunch, and savory flavors. There's the regular noodles in the broth and there's a top layer of crunchy egg noodles to add contrasting texture. Best dish for someone that's looking to try something new aside from the typical pad thai/pad see ew dishes! The service was pretty good and quick given that there weren't many people there for lunch. If you checked in on Yelp, they give you a free small thai iced tea! The Thai food here is pretty darn good. Definitely one of the top 5 Thai food spots I've tried in ktown. The wait is pretty long though for the food to come out after you order.. I've waited around 15-40 minutes each time I've gone but it was also during the lunch rush so there's that. Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night after arriving on the later side into LA. They close at 9:30 but require you to be seated by 9 to dine in. The menu has some really tasty sounding items that are all made fresh. I went with the red curry (medium spice) which was extremely delicious.
