It was one of my favorite sandwich. Slices of rib eye sautéed with pepper and onion. We opt for no cheese cause of allergies, but the sandwich was very juicy. No need any condiments. They have two locations. This one is farther north about 15 mins away from Binghamton University but closer to Suny Broome. Though there is a closer location to Binghamton. I heard that the rib eye sandwich is only available in the other location. Def worth the drive up. We also ordered the onion rings and chicken nuggets. But the star was the rib eye sandwich. Will beback very soon.

I didn't remember to add mayo and lettuce to our original, so it was a little dry. I did ask for mayo and lettuce and added it. The macaroni salad was really good! Today (7/25) we stopped in to have lunch with family who are local on our way back to NC. The spiedes were really sloppy and so saturated the bread was mushy. The 12 inch original my husband and I were sharing was super saturated. Unfortunately one of the chunks of chicken was served raw in the middle and I ate a bite out of it before I noticed the raw inside. I took the piece to the employee working the to go counter and she offered to remake our order and refunded by husband's card. I appreciate the business making it right. Hopefully our next trip will be a more positive experience. However overall the two stops were not bad, even with undercooked chicken.

As luck would have it, it was Binghamton Restaurant Week and we attempted a walk in - first available was three+ hours later - but the hostess mentioned we could get the RW menu at the bar and two seats were calling. Lots of choices on the menu but friend and I ended up having the same meal! Cup of Cauliflower, potato and leek soup to start was yummy - very comforting, not too thick, good flavor - I could have stopped here! But fortunately did not! Main was spectacular! Salmon with everything bagel spices served over pearl couscous in a risotto style was inspired (honestly, I will try this at home)! I hope this is a menu regular because I will crave this for many more meals! Add a black Manhattan and this meal is a treat! (Took the dessert course to go - blueberry cronuts were better than chocolate but both likely suffered a wee bit from loss of ambiance and slight steaming that occurred on drive - good for sure but did not compare to the rest of the meal). Shout out to Tommy F for exceptional service - attentive but not intrusive. Ambiance is lovely (the lighting dimmed as we sat - hysterical) but we also scored the most comfortable seats in the house (I hate a high top stool with no back and no padding on the seat - those stools look nice but should go away). Also love the hook under the bar.

After reading the sign indicating we need to see the host inside, we went. It was packed and looked modern chic, with low lights and high tables and tall chairs. We didn't have reservations and got the sorry, but we're full, to which I said we wanted to eat upstairs. To that, we got "okay" but that is a "different experience," which I frankly took as pretension... until I got upstairs. Then we understood. It was mostly empty on this Saturday evening, opposite the main restaurant below, and had a single person working the whole space, a Bar tender who explained we were to pull up the menu with a QRC, order, and they would bring the food; if we wanted drinks, we needed to come to the bar. Ordered food. Went to bar and waited. Good local craft beer on tap. Decent view, pleasant weather. And then a half hour passed. For sandwiches and tacos. Few minutes later, I went in to make sure our order was sent and that the kitchen actually received it. There was no animated chef in toque at a stove to indicate it was working, but she assured me it was. Another 15 minutes go by, and our beers are low, and we're considering.... Leaving or raising a stink when the bartender leaves her bar, looks at us, and goes down the stairs without a word, returning a few minutes later with nothing. That was odd, but seemed like progress. A few minutes later, our food arrives. Perhaps 50-60 minutes after ordering it. The runner tells us the manager apologies for the wait and has comped all our food. Without our having to say a word. We ate a fine arugula salad with watermelon, blueberries, and cheese. A good chicken sandwich with the most unusual Parmesan parsley fries--they were more thick chips, fried into curls, and topped with fried parsley and grated Parmesan. If you order it on the side, it comes with aioli, which was excellent. My burger was outstanding. I could taste the smoke, and it came with not slices, but small cubes of bacon. No need for sauce. My wife's shrimp tacos were very good eating. Frankly, it was so good, I *might* have forgiven them the wait. They did right to acknowledge their mistake. When we visit Binghampton again, we'll make reservations for the main dining room, which we were told has a much larger menu. We paid our bar tab via their Toast app. So yes, table service, but no waitron. It was a different experience, true to the host's word.

I asked if I could have the Mexican salsa sauce instead of Dijon mustard on my wrap. My server behind the bar, , (who is also the manager), said no problem, but there might be a few black beans in the sauce, she made no mention of any extra charge for simply using a different sauce. When she gave my check, she had added $5.50 , just for salsa instead of Dijon mustard . When I protested, and asked her to remove the charge, she refused, and was very rude to me. I didn't use bad language, or behave in a threatening manner. A female friend of hers, who was seated at a nearby table, with two men, joined in, and they both ganged up on me. Since I was using a credit card, I had no choice but to accept the added charge. I told her that what she was doing is a practice called "Padding" a check, to beef up the bill. I asked her if this is how she was trained, and her answer was, "I didn't have to be trained, this is how I do things" . I was in the middle of gathering together my belongings, and putting on my coat, to leave, and she came around the bar to my side, and said, "Let's go, you're not leaving fast enough", (Quote) I left, as soon as I had my coat on. She also said that there was a problem, a few days earlier, when I came in for a quick beer, before catching my bus. Well, guess what that "Problem" was ? The draft beer was totally flat, and warm, and all I did was let them know, and asked for a bottled beer instead. I did what any customer would reasonably be expected to do. Before I left, she told me, "Don't come back ". This is horrendous treatment of a customer, especially coming from a manager. P.S. Jan. 15th, 2026 - I am responding to a few points in yesterday's reply from the business owner to my complaint: 1. She said I was expecting an add on for free. This is erroneous, because I didn't even think of a different sandwich sauce as an "Add-On", which it should not be. 2. Saying I added Beyond sausage to my burrito, which is an "extra charge" Again, erroneous, Beyond wrap is $13.25, and Bean Burrito is $12.95, so it's fair to say that they're both the same price. What I actually ordered was the Beyond sausage wrap, and merely requested the Burrito sauce instead of Dijon mustard. What the manager did was bill me for a Bean Burrito, $12.95, and added a "side beyond sausage", and charged me an extra $5.50 for what was supposed to just be the Burrito sauce, which is not in my opinion a legitimate "Side". 3. Saying that I should have asked if there would be an "Up Charge". It's the responsibility of the server to let the customer know, that there will be extra charge, it's not the responsibility of a customer to ask.

While we decided to stop in the Binghamton area, we looked at various pizzas online and found this restaurant whose Pizza appeared to be the closest to the New York City style. We ordered a medium pepperoni, the guy working in the counter seemed friendly and made us a fresh one while we sat and watched. When the pizza was done, he showed us what it looked like and whether we wanted it cooked more. He did warn us that he can always cook it more, but he can't uncook it. We asked him to cook it more, and he did a good job. We then sat in the car and ate this delicious pizza. I definitely ate way more than I was planning to, because it was just that good. In hindsight, I wish we ordered a large. The medium pepperoni pizza was roughly $20. They also have and all you can eat buffet, though neither of us can eat more than two slices of pizza to make it worth it. But if this is your thing, that would be another reason to visit here.
