He had quite a job ahead of him, our old faucet was heavily coated with calcium from a persistent leak. But he assessed the problem, made plans to take apart the faucet as far as he possibly could, and from that point forward it was a matter of Joseph taking the calcified pieces and separating them in a manner that worked, but did no harm to our granite countertops. I was impressed with his ability to pivot away from what would not have worked, and use his skills to figure out the way to succeed. It is good to find creative tradesmen these days, we would love to have him come to our home if we need further help with the plumbing.

I promptly went to yelp and and began text dialogue and in less than 1 hour he was here. Very quickly began troubleshooting to isolate source of leak and after less than 15 minutes of running back and forth from the street to the back of the house confirmed the problem could not be a sprinkler line. In fact it was a broken connection on a hose feed. Not all heroes wear capes! I am recently widowed after 43 years and with plumbing/sprinklers I was at a total loss of where to even begin. Not enough effort is put into building an authentic relationship and it seems like people just do the minimum so that they can move on to the next transaction. Steve and his crew are regular people that treat others with kindness and respect not because they have to, but because that's who they are. They fixed a leaky pipe in my backyard without having to pull up my pavers and then they fixed a pipe in my front planter that solved low pressure on my drip lines. No fuss, no extra charges or unnecessary parts and labor. Steve's team obviously have deep knowledge and experience but what makes them so great is that they communicate clearly and are enjoyable to work with. Highly recommend them.

He called me back quickly (less than 30 minutes) & offered to complete the test the next day after I had told him that I was late. He did the inspection the next day as promised & gave me an update the morning after that. Dennis was fast & his fee was resonable. I definitely recommend Dennis - The Backflow Guys! BTW, the other company left a voice message for me, a week AFTER our first voice converation, that they were ready to come out to test. Dennis had already completed the test by then so I declined.

Talk about a blessing!! We had an emergency at our home in Laguna Niguel, there was water EVERYWHERE!! We called several other plumbers from around the area and none worked past 5 or didn't even answer the phone. Vladimir answered the phone and helped me immediately by suggesting I turn off the main water. He showed up about 30 mins later and it took him no time to diagnose the problem, a slab leak. We've had leaks before but nothing like this. He recommended a restoration company that he works with, Restoration 1. Those guys are the best in the business as well, but that's a whole other review to write ;-) What started as a nightmare, was turned into at worst just a slightly bad dream. Theres never a good time to have such a catastrophic leak, but Vladimir made everything operate smoothly. We ended up repiping our home so we never have to deal with leaks again. I strongly recommend asking about the discounts Prostar Plumbing gives for things like water heaters, shower valves, faucet installs or ever remodeling during the process of a repipe. All in all, we are so grateful for Vladimir and his expert crew of guys. The pricing is very good compared to some other companies too (we checked). We just cant say enough good things about Vladimir and his company, do yourself a favor and call these guys first! You will not regret it read more

A BIG, BIG Thank you to Earl (Owner of Prostar Plumbing). We have a commercial property in Laguna Niguel and we were in need of a reliable plumber for an emergency repair. Unfortunately, I've had to deal with other plumbers in the past that were, 1) WAY expensive, 2) had NO idea on what they were doing, 3) NOT reliable of getting the repairs done correctly or in a timely matter, 4) Would tell me some crazy line just so they could start the job. Not Earl, Holy Cow, he was..... 1) At our property before I was!! From the time I contacted him, Earl was there in less then 20 minutes!!!!! (EXCELLENT RESPONSE). 2) He knew exactly what our repair needs were. 3) More importantly, how to fix it and fix it correctly. 4) Very professional and courteous. 5) The invoice was "beyond reasonable". I never needed a plumber before, let alone for an emergency pin-hole pipe leak on a random Sunday afternoon. I discovered Prostar Plumbing based on great Yelp reviews and decided to give them a call. My experience is as follows... The receptionist was kind, taking my information and supposedly passing it along to my assigned technician, Austin. I say supposedly because I called 3 times in 6 hours to confirm they had the correct phone number as Austin did not call me back. To this moment, a full 1.5 days later, he did not call me back; nor did anyone else from Prostar Plumbing to follow up! What happened? Well, I found iGotPlumbing.com instead and they were rock stars in the best of ways! They arrived on time, were happy to keep in touch with me via text or telephone, answered all of my questions and charged a reasonable amount for an emergency repair. Based on my experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND Prostar Plumbing as they seem to adhere to the typical plumber mentality of not following through. I am very happy with Prostar Plumbing. This is my second time using them as I felt from the first that they are thorough and honest, and do not try to upsell the job. I had a leak in the connection from the street at my shut-off valve. I needed my shut-off valves replaced anyway. This was a complicated set of connections, with two valves, one for the house and one for the sprinklers, and not much room to work. This was way too much for me to do, as water to the whole house would be off while the repair was on-going. If I tried to do it, who knows how long water would have been off... Anyway, Earl was able to finish the job very quickly, and for a good price. Disruption to the water for the house was minimal. It has been about a week since the repairs were done, and there have been no problems, at all. Using them for this job was well worth it! I highly recommend Prostar, and will continue to use them. read more

Thank you Earl and Dalton! Anyone looking for honest, hard working Plumbers? These 2 should be first plumbers you call! (their on mine now!) We had upstairs Tub / Toilet / Washer backed up due to drain blockage. Tub / Toilet overflowed in 2nd floor down thru garage ceiling. (thankfully, our main floor living area was spared!) Earl fixed the blockage. We discussed root cause, cuz I don't want this to happen again. Earl gave many options and was not trying to push me in any extra work.. He actually had many suggestions that would cost less money. Ultimately, I wanted to know if there was any debris in the Drain pipe and I'm so glad we did. In short, there was still debris that was blocking HALF the drain. YIKES. So, Earl found a way to free the debris.! In summary, Earl and Dalton went above and beyond typical plumbers!! I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Prostar has been so amazing over the years that I felt compelled to do it. Earl and Rob have performed several jobs for us ranging from faucet replacement to repairing burst pipes to fixing tough clogs and installing water pressure regulators. So we knew who to call when the big one finally hit. Busted water heater that led to water damage of hard wood floors. The Prostar team came out right away on a Sunday. Diagnosed the problem and could replace the old water heater immediately. They also made a follow up call to their other division for a colleague to come inspect the water damage to the flooring. Responsive, professional, expert knowledge, friendly, reasonably priced especially for the quality of service they deliver. I can't say enough about ProStar Plumbing! I had a leaking toilet requiring a plumber. After calling 7 different plumbers, ProStar was the only one that answered the phone AND came out the same day at my requested time AND didn't charge me a rush fee. In fact, the owner, Earl, came out personally. He assessed the problem quickly and swiftly fixed the problem. He was very honest, didn't try to upsell me and in fact solved the problem in such a way as to save me money on the fix. My toilet wouldn't flush one morning....emergency! I called the plumber I had used before and he was busy but recommended Earl at Prostar. He was also busy, but sent someone out to temporarily fix the toilet so I could use it (how many plumbers do THIS?), and returned the following morning to replace the worn out part and fix a second toilet which has been flushing on its own for several years. Their work is excellent; they were neat (careful of my carpet in the bathroom!), and professional. Their prompt service and willingness to make the temporary repair is unusual and I appreciate it. I had been living with a broken floater in my toilet and had to pull out the floater every time I flushed. Additionally, I had another toilet that was turned off as the water was leaking. Earl and Rob came out today and were my lifesavers!!! They were efficient and quick. They came out to see what the problem was and after a minute left to pick up the parts that were needed. I used Prostar plumbing a couple years ago and again the end of July 2020. "Dalton" arrived wearing a mask and kept it on the entire time he was in my home. He discovered the problem and fixed it right away. He charged a very reasonable price and even did some maintenance on another toilet in the house for no charge! Also he is available on the weekend, answering the phone when I call. No answering service, just a personal hello from Dalton when I call on the weekend. Had a great experience with this plumbing company! I have used them twice so far in the last 4 months- Once to clear my kitchen sink drain, and the other to repair a pin-hole leak in one of my walls. Both times the technician arrived on time, was very friendly, and genuinely offered tips to help me better understand what exactly caused these two issues, as well as how to prevent them or address them if another problem happens. Paid a handyman $60/hr to futz around and fix nothing. Then I called Earl and he was there the same afternoon! What looked like it would take a reconstruction because the blockage was below the joint where there were 2 faucets, Earl just would not quit until he fixed it. Totally awesome! Thank you Efficient plumbing yet again for your service and timely installation. When we called my husband scheduled the plumbers Steve and Hector to come out the following day. They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! Chris responded to a call over the weekend in the early hours of Sunday morning, I think it was about 3 a.m. There was a burst pipe that my oldest child notified me of. I woke up and turned off the water immediately. I looked for a plumbing company that would respond at that hour, as most companies were closed. I found Emergency Response Plumbers via Yelp. I called and had Chris answer the phone. We talked for about 20 minutes while Chris walked me through doing some minor assessment myself. He gave me the option of either himself or another technician coming to the property with an emergency visit fee or waiting until the next business day. In a household of five, with one being a three year old, I just needed the repairs done immediately and running water working as soon as possible. With multiple people now waking up and needing to use the bathrooms and no running water... I didn't see waiting as a viable option. Also, washing the three-year-old's hands has become as frequent as breathing. The kid is always getting into something. This was an immediate emergency. Chris came out, assessed the situation, and completed the repairs himself. All while answering my million questions regarding what he viewed from within the walls (the house is a little older, and I just thought since the walls were open, why not). He also walked me through all the repairs he was completing. Overall, it was great work, great service, and great patience. I ask a lot of questions trying to understand things. I called them back last week, and Drew came right away, he was pleasant, patient, took his time to answer my concerns and explained how my older heater functions and what it needed. My house is set back very far from the street with strange turns and connections so this was a big, complicated job. The sewer line ran under my perimeter trees, then under my new deck and thick concrete slab driveway. Demo'ing everything to trench and replace was out of the question. I received lining estimates from 4 different companies and LoManaco's NuFlow trenchless lining pricing was the best and could be completed with no damage to my trees, deck, or driveway. Oscar did a great job of educating me about the system and thoroughly explaining what to expect. He and his team completed the job exactly as planned. They arrived on-time and cleaned everything at the end of each of the 4 days it took to complete. Not only did they do good work, but Oscar and all the guys on his team were so NICE! Honestly, they were a delight to have on-site. They were kind, respectful of my property, and happily answered all my questions. I feel confident I made the right choice selecting LoManaco.
