Friday Night Special - Prime Rib

Excellent food and excellent service, with a warm, cozy atmosphere. We've been going to Mylos for many years, and it never disappoints. Everything we've tried has been great--especially the prime rib on Fridays! Highly recommended.

I wanted to give this restaurant a really good review, but unfortunately there were a few highs and several low points. The location was easy to get to with sufficient parking in a somewhat busy area. The inside of the restaurant looked very nice, especially the bar area - cozy and inviting. There was a nice selection of both booth and table seating. I was with a group so we were seated in a mostly private area at the rear of the restaurant. The wait staff was really fantastic, they always had a smile and they were very attentive and pleasant. Unfortunately the quality of my food was substantially below what I think are reasonable standards. I ordered the fish and chips - not a good choice on my part. What I received was clearly pre-breaded frozen fish portions. Not at all what I was expecting. The breading was very heavy with little fish inside. I've had fish and chips in many great locations around the world, including the United Kingdom, Iceland and the US, and this was a huge disappointment. Fish and chips is traditionally made from a thick piece of fresh cod lightly battered before frying. My fish could not have been any further from freshly batter fresh fish! The two pieces of fish that I received were the identical size and shape - clearly machine shaped - nothing like a true piece of fish. Maybe the other items on the menu are prepared to a higher standard.

Sunday breakfast/brunch. Been here many times but not lately for breakfast. Honestly it was disappointing considering the $90 bill. Service was disappointing- took forever just to get coffee and wow, it was not good coffee in my opinion. The meals were good, not great. Love the eggs Idaho idea though. Chocolate chip pancakes were good. Ambiance is good but definitely old looking in back room. The old local photographs are super cool.

So I just tried the Shrimp Mylos..generous portion with rice. Tails on and easy to cut. A nice alternative to fish. It's a special, so not available every night.Goes well with a salad.

Went for a late lunch and sat outside as it was a pretty day. The dolmades were yummy as was the gyro sandwich. Service was also good. I wish I could recall her name.

I'm a HUGE a fan of authentic Greek food, and no one does it better than Mylo's Grill! Chris Mylonas and his staff provide a friendly and attentive atmosphere that's as good as the numerous incredible dishes to choose from. I would recommend the chicken souvlaki salad, keftedes, calamari and dolmades! Finish the evening with a Greek coffee and galatopoureko and thank me later! Mylo's Grill has become our favorite place to eat, and we'll go as often as possible!

You have a choice of chocolate chip hotcake, blueberry hotcake, pecan waffle or waffle with blueberry toppings. Like my review of its other location, their food was good and reliable. Our server was distracted though. When I ordered my food, he did not say that I had a choice between bacon, sausage, or ham. He said, "It comes with bacon. Is that okay with you?" To other customers who do not know that they have options, they would probably just say yes or no. Since I knew, I had him change it. When it came to payment, we were offering 3 credit cards to divide the check. However, he initially just got one of ours but before he reached the register he realized he only got one of our cards so he went back. He then gave each one's check one at a time with only a pen for everyone. Nevertheless, would still give this spot a 4/5.

It didn't move to the "Order Ready" category on the screen, nor did it come out and get placed in the rack where online and delivery orders were placed. There were a number of people coming to place orders, and others milling about waiting for their order to come up. I presume that they had come to the store to place their orders and were waiting for them to be ready. So I didn't go to the counter to ask the staff the status of my order, noticing that they were rather disorganized. I didn't want to create more distractions. It would prolong my weight. Finally, after almost everyone cleared out the fellow behind the counter asked if I had an order and what was my name. I told him and he said, "oh it's been here for a while." At that point, I got frustrated and told him that if an order is finished you put it on the screen as "ready" or move it out to the pick up orders. Why else would you have a shelf for online order pick-ups!?" He didn't respond and I just left. I'll only go back to that Wendy's if it's the last resort.

I was served quickly, however when the employee handed me the frosty, the cup was not completely full. Secondly, the price for tge medium sized frosty was over $4.00, which was higher than what I had paid just a few months before. I had asked the gentleman if he could please fill the cup completely. He took back the cup and acted like he was doing something with it for nearly 30 seconds. I thought it was a strange move. He handed the cup back to me and it has virtually the same amount.
