Mylos is a fun place to go. The food is good and the staff are friendly. Whether you sit at the bar or dine at a table, you will get great service. I brought my parents there who were visiting form Ireland and we had so much fun! Prime rib ( which is not my thing) gave my Mum (Betty) an orgasm!! We had a great laugh and stayed for hours! Its the kind of place where you could go and sit at the bar and not only will the staff chat with you but the other customers too! I recommend it for a fun night out in a casual atmosphere, which is not easy to find in McLean! read more

Delicious, with great service. 1030am on a Sunday I had no problem getting a table right away. I was worried that meant it wouldn't be good, but I had the crab cake benedict and loved it. Coffee was great too. Server and host were friendly, service was quick despite a big party in the back. Perhaps the lack of patrons is because it's situated in a strip mall next to a grocery store. Despite that though, the surrounding area is pretty, it's a nice drive to get there. Only took one star off because a) there's a tv which just seemed odd for a nice restaurant, and b) the home fries are just ok. But I still highly recommend this place for mid-priced yummy Sunday brunch! read more

Over the years we have had many events catered. We recently had a party for 30 guests in our home and I must say the food, set-up and the service was top notch and excellent in every way. We served the chicken and beef kabob's, Pastitsio, Greek style green beans, Dolmades and of course, the wonderful Pita bread, rice and Greek salad. Everything was delicious, perfectly timed and the service made the evening a special event. Dining in at the restaurant is also terrific. The father and son team are a great addition to the Mclean restaurant scene. read more

Great food, Great service, Friendly owners & staff. Classy Greek restaurant tucked away in the Chesterbrook Shopping Center. Have been there twice and both times it was terrific. In addition to Greek fare there are many traditional American dishes as well. I particularly like the lamb and the margaritas are fantastic and well priced. read more

This is The Gem of the County. This is my, and many others', "Cheers" bar and restaurant. Father and son owned and operated with politeness and professionalism. I have lived in McLean for 18 years and been through all of the changes of owners and this place is Great! Greek dishes are excellent and so are the other more American dishes. Good wines and beers (tap and bottle) at a full bar area or the quite large restaurant area. I love this place! We've had just about everything on the menus and never were disappointed, and portions are plentiful. A few favorites are: Chicken Souvlaki, the sandwiches, Pastitsio, Pasta Primavera, Grilled Chicken Linguini, Cheese Steak or Chicken Cheese Steak sandwiches, Reuben, and the Mahi Mahi or Tuna dinners. I come here once every week or two for dinner or lunch and stop in quite often for a drink. We have been here singly, as a couple, with friends, as a group, and office luncheons. See my reviews of Inn at Little Washington, Cafe Oggi, Bonarotti, Chima's, Kazans, Coastal Flats, and J. Gilberts, in case you think this is the only place I frequent. This is my all time favorite for a local restaurant and the most comfortable,for the ambience, friendliness, portions, and price. They all come out of "a bag". Hey they are for your kids, not your boss or client. 2 out of 5 stars for that? Undeserved. 2) they were closed on Super Bowl Sunday to reward their wonderful staff (how do they remember so many people's names) with a night off. they advertised way ahead of time that they would be closed, the one person that was in the closed restaurant was doing repairs inside, the manager wrote back and explained all of this, and yet that reviewer didn't rescind her 1-star review? Not nice and totally invalid review. 3) yes if you add meat to a salad it will cost you more. Meat's not free and it's not cheap. A 2-star rating? Undeserved. 4) all other negatives are 2011 or earlier. Irrelevant. People, people listen to me. If you have a problem in Any restaurant, talk nicely with the manager and I'll bet you get a warm welcome and proper resolution. That's much nicer than going home to your basement and writing Yelp flames, and should make your evening much more enjoyable. read more

I am giving Mylos a great rating because my husband and I loved the lamb chops and the service was excellent. The chops were grilled to order, well seasoned and the chopped mint accented the flavor perfectly. We shared an interesting dessert of phyllo with a custard filling. Yum! read more

If I could give six stars (or more!) I would. We just had a party in the back room of Mylo's, with about 30 of our closest friends. We worked from a "limited menu" (the guests were able to choose from a few selections - it helps the kitchen, and makes the experience flawless). We had room to move around and socialize, we had our own servers (who were outstanding, BTW), and Chris, the owner was more than accommodating and helpful. I can't say enough great things about our experience. We are getting phone calls this morning about how fabulous the night was. It is a casual, fun environment - perfect for when you want to relax and catch up with some of your favorite people. Of course, the food was fresh and outstanding, as always - great variety to choose from, and honestly much better than any catered and valet'd house party I've ever attended. We are so glad we did this - what an all around wonderfully memorable evening! Thanks Chris, and staff - keep doing what you do! read more

We live in the neighborhood and there are not alot of options for dining, so tried Mylo's once for a quick dinner. The food was very good, so we decided to try them for a catering assignment after getting some expensive quotes from several other establishments. We were hosting a graduation party for our daughter and wanted a nice meal that did not involve any prep work on our end. We asked Chris and his father Damian about grilling beef tenderloins for small sandwiches, and they also suggested grilled vegetable kabobs as a nice addition. Both were excellent and the presentation was very nice. I had offered to pick up the food earlier than needed so they would not have to deal with it during the Saturday night dinner rush, but they insisted on cooking and preparing close to serving time so the sandwiches were still warm. Our guests loved the food and it was a nice way to introduce Mylo's to friends and neighbors who we hope wil give this restaurant a try. read more
