We just received a hand-written card from Dr. Hibbert thanking us for our visit!

These guys are incredible! My wife and I came in after going years without having an eye exam, not totally knowing what to expect, but each of us had been wanting to get our eyes checked because we both spend a lot of time in front of screens - I am a graphic designer and she is a blogger. It was important for us to find out how we could better care for our eyes and find out how the folks at Myoptic could help with that. The space itself was really cool, modern, well-designed, but not pretentious or feeing like a hospital. The employees chatted with us while we each checked in our info and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The optician Tristan was great! They even offered us a choice of drinks while we waited, which was totally cool. The exam itself was actually a pretty fun process. I could tell Dr. Hibbert is really passionate about what she does because she knew a lot about any of the questions I was asking and was enthusiastic about sharing cool facts. - The whole time we felt like we were with people who cared. Picking out frames was fun too. Tristan had good suggestions and encouraged us to go for the ones that we had felt like we're the most "us". My wife and I ended up getting the same brand without knowing at first! Also, there's some super rad styles they carry too. I decided on a really lightweight and modern pair (my first glasses ever) that didn't make me feel weird or change how I saw myself in the mirror. We just received a hand-written card from Dr. Hibbert thanking us for our visit too, which was a really thoughtful gesture. I wish more places showed the same kind of consideration:) It was an awesome experience and I would definitely tell anybody to go for it if they considered coming for an exam or even just stopping by! You'll love it!

What is their price range? I couldn't find any information on this, but as assuming its within a standard range.

Price range is definitely what you would expect for an independent practice. We take most insurances guarantee our work. Hope this helps!

It's the people. I recently visited Blink for an exam and ended up buying a pair of glasses and…read morecontacts. The doctor was amazing and helped make me aware of the miracle that is multi-focal contacts. For a long time I've been unable to have a full range of vision with previous contacts, so this was very welcome information. He took the time to patiently explain how it worked and answered all my questions. I purchased a pair of frames they had from a local area business, Shwood, who has a great selection of natural looking, wood frames. I paid and began my standard two week wait for the glasses. Then things took a turn. I learned that the high index lenses I bought would be indefinitely delayed and they tried to help by suggesting a slightly different product that would even be less expensive. I ended up learning that even those would not be done in time for a very important out of town trip and I began to get very frustrated and voiced my frustration with the staff who called. Even though my frustration showed through, the staff stayed calm and professional, and tried to do what they could to mitigate the impact and explained the delay was due to a wide-spread supply issue. I realized it had something to do with the shipping bottleneck that has been in the news recently (Hormuz) and it really was out of their hands. I could tell they tried everything they could to still meet the initial deadline. It's not how I wanted things to go, and it would have been great if I received my order on time. But that's just how things go sometimes. Upon reflection, the important thing to me was the people you had at your side when things DID go wrong. And I found that they were as professional, courteous and conciliatory as you would want in that situation. They really wanted to do what they could to help. So even though the experience didn't turn out perfect, I feel it was 'the people' who wanted to do what they could in an imperfect situation that makes a place worth your patronage. I hope if you give them a try, you'll find the same. Thanks!

No "five star review" from me. And I'll never go back. The selection is pretty good (but let's…read moreface it, if you find frames you like, just go online to buy them a lot cheaper). The service is civil and they take time when it's clear you're going to be dropping serious money. But, after dropping over 400 dollars on lenses (I brought my own frames to them, but read on about that) and I asked for a box to put my new glasses in, they said "Ten dollars". Really? After all the dough I just spent? It left a bitter taste in my mouth and I probably won't go back because of that petty gesture. Ironically, the frames were purchased FROM THEM two years earlier for a few hundred bucks. Not a good way to end what was a good experience. There are too many other choices in town. Good bye, Blink. You lost me.

When the receptionist brought it up, I asked if it cost extra; she said yes, and then told her I wasn't interested. You'd think it would end there. After Dr. Breeden finished the main portion of the exam, she made it a point to get up, close the door, and lecture me about the importance of dilation, imploring scare tactics, and comparing it to having vitals checked. This was just insulting. It's my health, and it's my money, and I have the right to opt out. I'd like to think that professionals could take a hint that money is clearly an issue for me without me having to say HEY, I'M FUCKING BROKE, I'M JUST HERE TO GET A PRESCRIPTION SO I CAN BUY CONTACT LENSES. The icing on the cake was not being given (or emailed) my new prescription at the end of the visit. After I emailed them asking for it, there was another little passive aggressive cherry on top -- part of my prescription was left blank, and I had to dig up my old prescription to find the number (the BC, or base curve, which is either 8.4 or 8.8 when ordering contacts online). So thanks, ladies! Very professional.
