My dentist is right down the street from this place, and I only live in Weymouth, so its close enough that I can frequent often. I try to make sure I don't make my dentist appointments on Mondays as N&H is closed! :) I love this place! The Bahn Mi's are excellent and are so inexpensive! I always get a tofu bahn mi and fresh rolls. The peanut sauce is so good! I think you can make or break a fresh roll with the sauce. The owner (I think) is very friendly and seems to remember people that go there often. Not the best Pho joint in Randolph. Mediocre at best. When they first reopened under new management they were really nice. Go to spot. However, now they just come off rude and like they don't really care about the customer. In addition, the broth was weak and bland. The banh mi was good the last time I got it but now it's considerably less good for more money. Since the new owners took over, it have not been the same even when they said everything would stay the same. The new owner is friendly, but the recipe is definitley different. We gave it multiple chances since its been reopened. Yes, the menu stayed mostly the same but the flavour have not. The crab paste no longer taste like crab, I can only taste the pork in it. We stopped in for lunch-- got tofu fresh rolls and 2 tofu banh mi. Very fresh and tasty, and lunch for 2 for $10! In addition to those two menu items, the owner mentioned he can make the # 11 pho vegetarian, with mushroom-based broth. I think he said # 7 vermicelli can also be made veg with tofu. As a Vietnamese I must say that this is the best Vnese food I've had here (I've been to most Vnese restaurants in Boston and the neighbor towns). Favorites: Banh Mi, pad thai (cooked in vnese style I think), Pho (their soup is more tasty than any restaurants but I wish they use better noodle) and other dishes that the owner recommends, they cant go wrong. Then one day my friend told me she has their bun rieu (crab meat vermicelli) there and it's good. Well... I didn't know they would have have hot food there! Went in and the place is small and really not a place to sit down and eat but we ordered to sit down anyways. I tried the bun rieu my friend recommended and my husband tried the bun mam and boy were we surprised! They were delicious! They have everything the traditional dish supposed to have. They're definitely not cheap on the meat either. Of course we kept on coming back for take out and try the other dishes and they're all very yummy. Fantastic Vietnamese subs. I stop in every Saturday to pick up a spicy grilled beef sub. The meat is tender. Sandwich has just the right amount of kick, and the rolls are perfect.
