First of all it was the night of a snow storm and their heat was not working. The least they could have done is addressed the issue and offered us a warm beverage but they simply ignored our question regarding the heat until the third time we asked. We did have better service and communication from the waiter rather than the waitress on duty tonight. However, once our meal was served neither one bothered to come back to our table to check on us or our satisfaction with our meals......very poor service and not great food. I am so happy I found this place! I never ordered any appetizers so can't really comment on them, but as far as the entrees go the chicken with black pepper is just straight up amazing. Other entrees like the steak are also great and everything is beautifully presented. The kulfi dessert tastes and look amazing. I thought the food was very good at a good price with good service. My complaint is with the ambiance of the place. The overhead lights that changed colors was a bit annoying and the music sounded like Thai elevator music, if there is such a thing. My suggestion to management is to have dinner at Origins Thai in Somerville and check out and copy how they do the lighting, the music and just about everything else relating to ambiance. If you figure out their formula, you will have a line out the door, since I do believe you've got the good food part down. read more

Great every time they take care of you. My go tos are black pepper chicken and the Basil ginger chicken. The prices are crazy cheap and the quality is great. Rare to find in NJ. I've also tried the drunken noodles which I would love to get every time and love the green curry but make sure to get the green curry hot or else it might be too mild. We normally get the tom kha soup with chicken as an appetizer - very good. We also liked the tamarind chicken which was sweet. Customer service I would like to give 4 stars, although the wait time wasn't as fast as how other Asian restaurants are but the waiters were very attentive and great! The dishes here taste more like Chinese/Thai cuisine, it is definitely not authentic Thai food. The soup were all very salty but price is great for the portion. If you want to try their soup, might want to remind them not too salty. Even their background music were all Chinese songs/melodies. A great experience from the moment we walked in. We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy for dinner. We were seated fairly quickly. They offer a variety of dishes on their menu. Since this was my first time there, I decided to go with the sampler appetizer. It was a great way to get a taste of the different appetizers they offer. The entrees were a huge size and we were not able to finish them (had to get to go boxes after we gave up). The food was great. The service was a little slow here. I would only recommend going here if you are not on a schedule and want a long dinner. The only time we saw the waiter was when he took our order and then when we had to flag him down several times to get our check. No one came around to refill water till the end of our meal. Despite the slow service I would return here when I an in the mood for a nice long dinner since the food was delicious. Ever since Thai Chili closed in Spotswood have tried to find a replacement with no luck. Had Pad Thai, Pepper Chicken and Red Chicken Curry sad to say the only thing halfway decent was the Curry. Noor Palace occupies the space that used to be Bombay Garden on route 18 in East Brunswick. Under new management, the interior got a redesign that is fresh and open. Bombay Garden was a very good restaurant and now Noor Palace has taken it up a notch, perhaps two. We went there for a buffet and it was fantastic. First of all, the food is northern Indian, so some items were new to me. However everything I sampled (don't ask me for names, I never remember, I just know what I like) was EXCELLENT! And I don't use all caps just for anything. Each item I sampled was excellently prepared; ingredients were wonderfully layered and stood out, meats were abundant and moist, vegetables were fresh, the dishes in the buffet complimented each other, and the desserts were spot-on tasty. This was my fiance's first encounter with Indian food and Noor Palace has made her a convert, albeit to the not too spicy dishes (she can't handle heat in any cuisine), but she likes it now nonetheless. We got takeout a few weeks ago. I am kind of boring because I got pad thai again. The dish was consistently delicious both times. My boyfriend got some type of curry with shrimp, he loved it. Be warned, they do leave spicy peppers in their foods. My boyfriend was not paying attention and ate a pepper, it ruined his whole night. Not their fault at all, but be warned. Driving through E. Brunswick and had a restaurant.com coupon, so with no previous knowledge of them, gave them a shot. Wow, not what I expected in a strip mall. Reasonable prices, healthy food, delicious dessert, nice (quiet) atmosphere. This wasn't totally traditional Thai, but if you're feeling a little adventurous they are worth checking out. If I'm back in the area I will return and try some other things on their menu. To start off i've been to this place a couple of times and i have loved the food here every time. What i dislike every time is the service. The service here is unfortunatly horrible. We got our food and and had to wait for our plates, we asked three different servers and then 20 min later we got plates. This happened every course. Then we wanted the check, so we asked 4 waiters for the check which was then brought out to us about 30 min after we had finished eating, meanwhile people that had come after us were getting better service than we were (they only had to wait 15-20 min). Its really sad the the service is so bad because the food here is very good. I love their penang curry which is what i get every time. This time we also got chicken pad thai, spicy basil fried rice and shrimp with cashew nuts, tom yum soup, pistachio kulfi, and falooda. The penang curry was its usual marvelous self, the chicken pad thai, spicy basil fried rice and shrimp with cashew nuts was great also, we throughly enjoyed our food. We meet friends weekly for dinner at N Thai Palace. I therefore have tried many different things on the menu. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal. Each menu item is offered mild, medium or spicy. I choose mild and my husband chooses spicy and our meals always come out as ordered. Each and every person who works here is pleasant and helpful. The owner Syed and chef Zack are totally dedicated to making sure that your dining experience is a totally positive one. We used to live 5 minutes away so it was quite convenient.
